  1. Yeah, I caught those missing skin pixels as well and told the spriter. As for the outfits, I'm not really too fussed about changing them, honestly. I've got a different look for Alyssa (blue hair) coming anyway, at least. But I don't mind seeing other stuff. Yeah, anyone can. As a heads up though, I know for sure that you might have some competition on a Laraya edit.
  2. It's not necessary imo, but it's your choice. It'll get bumped down to 20 once they get into a fight as well. Who got bugged on your run?
  3. Hmm, yeah that's a good point. A different weapon set does sounds good as well. Funnily enough I had considered delaying Kane's recruitment once before, actually, but decided not to go through with it. Personally I wouldn't like that if it were the case, so I wouldn't make that the case. Unlike, say - talking to Fargus, Kane moves and attacks and isn't that strong so it would be really annoying to move into his range and get a unlucky crit on him or something, especially with the length of that map. Thanks for playing. Glad you enjoyed it. I think the patch that I'll upload once the portraits are done will be the last proper update, probably.
  4. Yeah that sounds like a decent idea, actually. I had been wanting to do something about the whole talk or not to talk issue on that map, because as you said, there's literally no benefit to not killing him.
  5. It's just because some people pointed out that... Anyway, there are actually quite a lot of conversations scattered throughout the chapters. I'll probably add them to that section sometime in the future.
  6. Hmm, well the design for the new shoulders seems better, but the right shoulder dips really low in comparison to the left. Another thing is that on the left the second plate is on top of the other one, but on the right the second plate is underneath. On the hair, I think that things are looking a bit off with the edit. Main thing is that bit of hair that's cropping up on her cheek there, but otherwise I think it might be that there's a bit too much hair in that area, which makes her hair look messy in comparison to her hair in both the old look and her style in her normal look as well.
  7. Yeah, I guess we'll go with the bottom one then. As for the variations on the hair on the top three, I'd say the middle one is best. Looking good. Thanks to both of you. EDIT: Oh yeah, and for the Florence edit too. I was wondering if you were going to do anything more on that actually.
  8. Looking good. I agree though in thinking the right side of her face is still looking a bit odd. There's a lot of space between her eye and the edge of her head in her lightest skin shade, which makes it look a bit stretched. The thing in her hair is looking unnaturally straight in its shape. And on a side note, she looks like she's looking a lot... younger? It's not that important, but as it is right now she seems like she's pushing it into child territory. Or it might just be me.
  9. Looking better, definitely. Don't know if this is good advice, but wouldn't it be better to make the chestplate's lining pull back underneath the shoulders? That way you won't have to fill in the areas where the chestplate and shoulders meet up with blackness. Anyway, I've done some stuff to the face for now. (Middle one) Filled out the nose a bit more and changed up the shading on the far eye. Seemed a bit weird to have the lightest skin colour around it there. (Right one) Not sure whether this was better or not but I just pulled the far eye and nose a bit more over to the left.
  10. Thanks for making it all the way through. No sequel in the works for now, if ever. Although I've had my ideas. Mini-update: I just uploaded a new patch with some minor changes. It's not worth re-downloading for if you're currently in the middle of a playthrough, I'd say, unless you're playing on Hard Mode. Pulled some of the levels up in the first half of Ash's mode. As I said, this is more of a hard mode change, to allow your units to still gain a decent amount of experience for kills. Enemies stats may see some small gains due to autolevelling, but nothing too major. I realised that when I fixed the bug with Chapter 19x not loading earlier, I accidentally inserted a larger version of the map. I've reverted it back to the smaller version of the map now. There were also some slight issues (imo) on some of the portraits talking and blinking frames, which I've now sorted out. EDIT: I also just finished a run and found some small errors in places. Uploaded yet another patch to fix these things. Once again, don't worry about these small updates. Alyssa's death quote actually uses an older portrait of hers, oops. Somehow, I hadn't seen her death quote this whole time to notice. In chapter 22, a Hero in the top-right dropped a speedwing. He doesn't anymore. It was supposed to be a stealable item. Ironed out a few textbox oddities here and there. Katarina's Bishop palette is now not terrible. :/ Also, Kane's winning the poll? And not long after I say that, Kane is not winning the poll anymore, lol.
  11. Oh, alright then. Yeah, they aren't in the Emilia chapter because Val sends them off somewhere else.
  12. That sounds like a bug, unless i'm misinterpreting what you're saying. So you had them back for the chapter where you fight Hale and then they're not there for the Bran chapter? When those two get disabled from the prep screen before (on chapter 17) its because I make them invisible for the chapter, but here, I don't do anything like that so if it's not a bug, I don't get why that would be happening. I'll have to check it out myself.
  13. Your Val hasn't gotten any speed in 3 levels? The prospect of things turning out well in this mode are not looking great.
  14. Yeah, alright then. Before he says that line, he'll advance towards you if you move somewhere that he can get in two turns. In other news, I've put a poll question up, answer it if you want. You can vote multiple people.
  15. The face and everything up top is looking decent. You also fixed the issue of her odd head shape, which is great. But on everything else, it seems like the collar of the clothing is really large and also really open in the back. The armour also looks to be at a different angle to the clothing. I also think the armour itself isn't quite there yet, although I don't really know how to advise on that.
  16. Thanks for the review, man. I appreciate it. On chapter 15: As of this patch I did actually change Ordanze to not move immediately, like he did before. I thought that lowered the chance of him getting himself killed so easily, but I guess not. It's sort of difficult for me to evaluate that myself, because I know the map too well by now, I guess. Making him heal earlier does have some problems as well though. Because of the silly AI to move maximum range possible when using healing items, it can sometimes be even more annoying. But in all honesty, I'll concede that the whole issue of getting to Ordanze safely is not that well done. It's good to see your rundown on each of the characters. I've had playthroughs before where my opinions align with yours anyway, particularly in regards to the Lord rankings. In general though, I'd still put Ash last mostly because he has the highest chance of turning out poorly, from my experience. Val, at least, will usually be useful in her mode and have some utility for taking down axe users throughout Ash's mode. Without a few boosters, if Ash is in a bad way, he just can't be relied upon for combat sometimes. Also, I'd recommend giving the pegasus knights a go. They're pretty good here, imo.
  17. Outside of the range that he could move in two turns, too? If so, that's strange. Yeah, what arkel said. Not a bug, just ending stuff from fe7 that's been left in.
  18. Yeah, that's because him saying that is a turn event. Prior to that he'll move if you enter within double of his move and attack range. I think I changed his AI to that from a normal 'attack in range' AI. I don't disable him saying that even if you move into his range before that, which I probably should have.
  19. As long as they're in his storage at the end of chapter 8, the items will be retained when he rejoins.
  20. Oh damn, really? I had no idea. This is the last bug, I promise. It might be too little, too late, now, but you don't have to restart if you don't want to. The bug literally would only affect that one scene, (I'm pretty sure) which was at the end of chapter 18, by the way. I had changed the way how Josie loads in the end scene, and I screwed up, which meant that she didn't actually appear, so the game glitched out when it tried to find her position and move her.
  21. If you can skip past it, it's probably something stupid on my part. I'll check it out and get back to you on this. Thanks for pointing it out. EDIT: Yeah, it was something dumb. I didn't think that something I had edited earlier in the game would affect something at this point in the game, but it did. If you redownload, it should be fixed now. Just resume from where your savestate is and everything should be fine. Also, can I just say that the Linda you have on this save is amazingly good? Did you give her a lot of stat-boosters or are those just good levels? And I should have said this before, but with both of these reuploads there should be no need to restart from the beginning or anything.
  22. And we're back now, apparently. I believe the issue should be fixed now. I managed to get to the next chapter and the map is there, events are working and everything, as far as I can see. To anyone who had downloaded it before now, you should redownload and repatch, otherwise you won't be able to do 19x, I'm pretty sure there's no way around that. Sorry about that.
  23. That's cool, there's no rush. I'm in a similar position myself, anyways. And yes that pretty much is Jace, yeah, unless you really like him over Andrei for whatever reason. But he's actually alright, from my recent experiences with him. Like I said in my overviews of the characters, he just peaks much later into the game. Also, a good Gemma will change your life, believe me. It seems like everyone but me has trouble with her leveling strength, even with that 50% growth, though. It's really strange to me.
  24. They are honestly just the most minor changes. +/- 1s, that's it, hardly buffs or nerfs. Drake got tiny bonus to strength and skill to make him a tiny bit more consistent. Gemma got a skill reduction. Edward got a strength bonus to bring him up in utility a bit more. Jace got a strength reduction. For Gemma and Jace, the reductions were made to make their counterparts' (Nella and Andrei, respectively) advantages seem a bit more prevalent. I could have also altered the growths, but it's a bit harder to see the direct difference that growths make, compared to bases, without changing them quite a bit.
