  1. Snes9x doesn't work with Project Naga on Android. The game won't load. I've tried the same file on the PC version of Snes9x and it loads fine. Snes9x just doesn't read the file on android.
  2. I got it to run on RetroArch, but I only got it up to ~105% with fast forward, which is unacceptable for FE4. Maybe one of the ~30 SNES cores would have been better, but the 5 or so I tried all either didn't work or were running at ~50% or barely hitting 100%. John Ness runs with a bit of audio distortion at 800%, and fine at 100%. So far the best is SuperRetro16, but it looks like it got removed from the Play Store before I could upgrade it.
  3. For Android people, I was finally able to get this to run properly in John NESS and Super Retro 16. None of the other popular SNES emulators seemed to run this without some glaring issue. Super Retro 16 also has a button that opens up GameFAQs which I find absolutely hilarious.
  4. Where can I find information about this Fire Emblem Guy Den game?
  5. In Gaiden I went: Gray - Merc Tobin - Mage Kliff - Soldier Atlas - Merc (just so he won't get doubled and killed) I'll probably do the same in this, with Faye as a Cleric.
  6. Oh Christ, the Dark Sword has even less hit in SoV than in Vanilla. RIP ever hitting anything with that unless you can somehow use a skill with it. Also the Royal Sword got hit pretty hard, less might, less crit, less hit.
  7. Really you would just use it to send Silque to Cilica's party for the swamp maps. If you played with revival the game became rather easy. Also IIRC dead characters would stay "dead" as far as the story goes even if you brought them back to life.
  8. The map where you fight Sonia (and recruit Dean) is much more difficult than the one where you fight Dean. Considering neither of them is tons better than the other I usually just fight Dean and recruit Sonia.
  9. Archer is Cliff's worst class, although he'll be decent eventually.
  10. I did like how Gaiden's bad hit rates made Knights better since sometimes you would miss a few attacks and having someone who could take multiple hits was actually valuable.
  11. That was in the original. It also set your speed to 40. Great for armors.
  12. You mention that Gray promoting to Social Knight gives Def and Move, but it also heavily hints towards the promotion mechanics being like they were in the original (max [current, class base]) since Social Knight has 5 base def in Gaiden and that would be consistent (ther other stats are all higher than the class bases).
