That's not entirely fair, though, because many people bought a Wii because of the packaged games. For instance, people in 2006 clambered not just to get a Wii, but to get a Wii with Wii Sports. Doubtless many people bought a Wii for another game, but you can't just ignore the sales of those games since they're largely why the console sold to begin with.
