I didn't see this profile feed update. And yes I am! It's Arch's brainchild and baby though, I'm just there to help move stuff around over. :) I've learned a lot from it myself - One of the hardest parts of hacking is finding the information you need. You're probably one of the most knowledgeable FE8 hackers at the moment, so anything you want to share would be tremendously helpful!

Your FE Hack "Midnight Sun"is great! I'm very interested in it.

Unfortunately I cannot download this Hack just now, because my laptop has not enough memory for an emulator. I will change it as soon as possible.

And I have to read the instructions of "emulating", because I have no experience in this topic so far. I have only played original copies of FE games yet.

So it will take a few days, if I can start to play your...

Don't worry, that'll be pretty easy. ;)

You just have to download an emulator (Visual Boy Advance is pretty good), a program called NUPS and the two ROMs (the original Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones (U) and my .ups patch).

Open NUPS, patch the .ups to the original ROM, and then play the result in VBA. Easy!

Right? I think they did a great job with her. ^_^

Definitely going to be my new main!

My favorite moment (other than the ending) was probably when Shana and Yuuji were fighting on the Snake in the Abyss, and she gives him that amazing speech, finally confesses her feelings to him, and vows to defeat him. I love that scene so much!

So, why do you like Shana that much?

I dunno, I just really admire most of her qualities and think she's really cool! I like that in a heavy action series the lead heroine is a girl about as tiny as I am who, while being the total badass that she is most of the time, is still learning more everyday about how to interact with others and understand her feelings; things she never got a chance to experience and discover before. In some ways she's like a kindred spirit to me since we share some similar insecurities.

Well that's cool. Talking about Athena, I've found out that some sort of "voice psychology" really exists, and it's based on analysis of "mood markers". Kinda familiar, uh?

It came out on December in Europe and Australia, and it will be released in the USA on February 2nd.

It's really cool, probably the best jRPG I've ever played.
