  1. Fun fact, you can also do that in Heroes as long as you're using Bolganone/Cymbeline combined with Glacies.
  2. Actually a set with standard Blàrblade is pretty good, thank you so much! I didn't think about that, and it actually makes it easier for me to save on feathers (since I have other priorities). Hm hm, that makes sense. Thank you for answering me, Ice Dragon.
  3. @Ice Dragon Apologies for the inappropriate question, but I'm legitimately curious (with no malice or ill intention at all): just how rich are you? Or are you just so bored of life that you seek perfection in this gacha game? kinda looks like Oliver Again, I hope I'm not offending anyone by asking this, I just want to understand better why people are eager to spend that much on this game. I really... don't know what focus unit to pick for the next Arena season. They're all kinda mediocre, honestly...? I have all of the bunnies, even a +Spd -Def Spring Lucina, but I doubt she can replace Nowi effectively on my team. Nor can Spring Chrom replace Anna, as he can't tank magical hits, or a hit from Lucina, or double +10 Ephraims consistently. Hmm... What is even a good build for Spring Lucina? She needs Fury 3 to increase her BST, but aside from that, I don't know. So perhaps the standard set with Desperation is what I should go for? I had this build I came up with the other day for my +Spd - HP Spring Lucina. With -HP, she has exactly 32 HP at lvl40, meaning that after initiating a battle and using Ardent Sacrifice, she'd get -16 HP, bringing her to 50% of her total HP and allowing her to teleport with Escape Route. Not bad, but still meh.
  4. The team is Nowi / Lucina (Fury 3) / Anna (Fury 3) / Ninian. Don't mind the one I screenshotted here, lol. Getting into top 1000 without any merged characters is quite satisfying, I should say.
  5. I think the banner is fine as it is, Xander being my favourite for how hilarious he is. It's also pretty obvious that they're going to have a second banner along this one. At least, imo.
  6. 2500 score, 500 for defense, 3000 for rank = 6000 in total for me this week. I'm glad we're able to get more feathers with the new update.
  7. So you just gave an oneshot weapon to one of the characters with lowest atk in the game? Oh but hey, it's Felicia! Worth it! <3 And IIRC you're the guy who was born the same day as me, so you're always right.
  8. 4626, ranked 573rd. All of my units are regular 5* lvl40s... just gave Fury to two of them. I've been facing some pretty disgusting teams filled with lvl 40+10s, but oh well. It was fun, seemed like playing Lunatic+. Try out Nowi, guys. She's OP.
  9. My leader is now Nowi. But since I tend to change it often, maybe it's best not to put anything in that field.
  10. I think that a variety of glass cannons are your best option for Defense teams. People usually quit if you manage to kill 1 of their units, giving you the win. Dancers/Singers also help for that purpose, giving opponents a hard time playing around your nukers.
  11. So I ranked 520th on the last Arena season. I just put Fury on 2/4 of my characters and my points increased drastically. However, the game's matchmaking system is broken atm, I kept finding unbelievable guys with 40+10 characters. x_x (still won with swordbreaker Sanaki tho) Do you know how the point system is going to change with the April update? I hope it won't be as BST-related as now, because the amount of ""good"" units for ranking is actually very limited, and it favors p2w in more than one way.
  12. We're talking about a little bit too much "work" here. Especially facturing the x1.5 amount of SP required for those skills -- a lvl.40 character for a single skill would need about 450 SP, alias 150 enemies. Grinding like crazy isn't a good game design choice, as you don't want your consumers (the players) to feel frustrated. You can't really allow that from a marketing perspective, since as a producer you want to keep the interest of your audience high in a gacha game, whereas it really doesn't matter much for a console game since you've already purchased the title, even if the game becomes grindy or boring. Difficulty in a game should come as an obstacle between you, the player, and a possible reward. This is neither rewarding (so many hours just for 1 skill for 1 character) nor difficult (it just requires some time and patience, and it's not challenging in any way). I'm pretty sure they'll fix this problem in the near future.
  13. This. I'm pretty sure they'll add some new ways to farm SP. Before, SP wasn't that big of a problem since all characters were able to get their skills maxed out (except maybe for Chrom and Leo who needed some extra care, because of the huge amount of SP required by their skills). Now, with skill inheritance, the SP you gain from lvl 1-40 isn't enough anymore. ESPECIALLY for those who start at 5 stars. I guess they're going to: - change the SP gain formula OR - add some mode that allows players to gain more SP OR - rise the level cap to allow for more levels (and SP) I guess the second option is the more feasible one. I remind you to send tickets to IS to address this "problem" anyway, their Customer Service is unexpectedly good and they always listen/reply to players (at least, they always replied to my 6-7 tickets within 2 hours).
  14. ID: Alfred Kamon Code: 4857-5027-28 Leader: Depends on my mood, really. Currently, it's Ninian. Next is Anna. I only accept people of rank 6 or higher, at the moment. Cheers!
  15. Unfortunately, Jeorge doesn't learn Spur Speed before he gets to 5 stars... OP, please correct the list. Thanks.
  16. Hey guys, I bring some news. I don't think that v.2.0 will come out this year, or anytime soon. The fact is, I've only recently realised that I didn't have any real will to continue working on the game. Midnight Sun (at first "Sunpath of Midnight") was a hack rom I created to fulfill my deepest desires, to express myself through various characters, and ultimately to create an alternate world where I could go whenever I wanted to escape from reality. I felt lonely at the time, and I made this game to be recognised and praised by people. I just wanted some affection. Some friends. A place where I belonged to. When the game was released in 2012, I was happy. My hard work was appreciated by fans all around the world, and I found the courage to confront my real self and better my life. So, why didn't I stop there? The reasons were few, but important. The "promise" I made back then... "I won't surrender, I'll finish this game for sure!"; all the people waiting for more chapters; and, most importantly, my team and in particular my dear proofreader. I didn't want to tell those people that I was satisfied after all the hard work they had put into the game for me. It was like... betraying them, from my point of view. But... as time went on, I realised I couldn't continue the project. Every time I worked on the game, I did it for someone else, and not for myself. I was continuously spending my hours in a virtual world for the sake of the fans, and it felt really painful. I was... lying to myself into believing that I wanted to finish the game. And then I thought: how long should I still work on the game in order to finish it? 3000, maybe 4000 hours? How many years must I work on this project? I'm tired, guys. I love this story and these characters, so I might work on them again in the future, maybe in a book, or maybe on a legit software. But for now, I want to focus on the precious things I've found in my life in these years. I know that a lot of people were looking forward to the rest of the game, and I feel sorry for deluding them, but it feels painful for me to continue. I also apologise to those (few) who donated some money. I thank those people for their kindness and for appreciating the project so much that they felt the need to give me something. But now... I just want to selfishly wake up from this Nightmare module.
  17. What happened to Pokémon Prism should ring some alarm bells, though.
  18. Thank you very much, MegaTheGamer! :) I'll look into it, thanks for reporting! Faratrass' route won't be easier than Shiori's, it will simply have more traditional goals. Most of the difficulty on Shiori's route will come from overpowered enemies, while on Fa's route you'll have to deal with status conditions and other kinds of threats. Currently, we're working on some awesome animations for new and old classes, so stay tuned for more! V.2.0 should come out in late 2017, as expected.
  19. Sure thing friend, here you go: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9yoz52e7h393x00/FEMS%20v1-6.zip?dl=0 Have fun with Midnight Sun! :)
  20. Yup, you can do that. Thieves can also steal unequipped weapons in Midnight Sun. That includes ALL staves (since they're never equipped).
  21. I should mention that in the mini-tutorial at the beginning of ch.9, though. Thanks for pointing that out.
  22. I have nothing against it, you can keep talking about Ray's art. After all, it's still constructive criticism for the artist who's filling Midnight Sun's virtual artbook.
  23. I don't see anything wrong with it honestly, it's just his art style. It's a quite uncommon one, and quite different from all the anime/manga-like faces you're probably used to see nowadays, so that's why you read it as "strange". I think Ray's style is loyal to the original FE style.
  24. Hey there! Thank you for the feedback :) And welcome to the forums! You've been really unlucky with Fa's speed level ups... Luckily, you'll find Demon Blood in v.2.0, that will boost your speed stat by 2! I'd also like to show some awesome artwork that Ray (Mageknight404) has made for the project. Beware that there's a slight spoiler for whoever hasn't completed ch.8 yet. [spoiler=MK404's art] Thank you SO much, @Mageknight404! You have all my gratitude and admiration.
