Wait why LaD over Fury...? I like Fury more cause it makes it easier for me to get in Desperation range. Killing Edge+, Reposition, Moonbow, Fury 3, Desperation 3, Threaten Spd 3 (for those who can't read moonrunes) He hits 48 str with a Wo Dao+ and Str+1 Seal, which is the very cusp of what I consider a "good attack stat."

Like others have mentioned, this is a forum dedicated to Fire Emblem, and as such, there are people who are more hardcore. Trust me, I have friends who play this game completely casually and you are by no means any worse than they are. Just because you aren't a top Arena scorer it doesn't make you bad. You didn't get ranked? Sure, there are only 100,000 ranks (before update). Out of potentially millions of players. Not being ranked just means you aren't in like the top 5% or something. No big deal. Also, you don't have to quit - but if you don't, you have to approach these situations differently. You said it yourself, other people complain too. Yes, but it's HOW a complaint is made that is important. You just have to have the patience. And if it helps, if you want to write a complaint post, just pretend Boron or Rey are watching over your shoulder waiting to see what you have to say to call you out on it (no offense to either of them, of course) - then look at what you wrote and ask yourself "Is this what others want to hear from me?" It'd save your hide from roasting 9 times out of 10.

I mean I usually train in strata above my level anyway since I'm too impatient to endure that slow grind. Just reset the tower with Stratum 1 surrenders and snipe colors you have an advantage over and it becomes really easy.

It's all about how you look at it. Don't look at the game as something you NEED to do well in. You don't NEED to score well in Arena. Is it nice if you do? Of course. But is it NECESSARY? Not at all. It's something you STRIVE to do well in - and as long as you try with an open mind, I believe improvement will naturally follow. But, all said and done, as others have recommended, a break from the game is probably due. Don't quit completely since you already spent money (muh sunk cost fallacy), but having a bit of time away from the game to clear your head might be good for you.

I mean, for me personally, I've always played FE for the challenge, so that's what I try to do via using the free units. Yes, it's more limiting. Yes, they're weaker. Yes, it's more difficult. But that's exactly why I do it. Of course, I still only use my best units for Arena since Arena is all about that sweet min-maxing, but I may as well challenge myself for other content. Although it was mkv that inspired me on this quest. I think it's cool that the game offers a way to clear all the content with just the free characters. Goes to show that even if you were the most unlucky person on the planet and only pulled Wrys, Fir, Bartre, and Odin, you can complete everything the game has to offer.

Hey training the free 3* is fun. :P I mean I only have 7 of them at 40, but I'm working to get them all to level 40 at some point, since cheesing GHBs with Hector, etc. is no fun. Like, when I get all the free units to 3* level 40 with no SI, hopefully I can clear all non-arena content with just those.

I turn off battle animations (both in Heroes and normal FE games) so I wouldn't know. :^) It saves so much time. Also I hope they give Wo Dao to some other character at some point. Since it isn't unique.

Yeah Navarre does need a bunch of SI to bring out his full potential. Without SI, Karel is def better. Because Karel can have IV variations, a +Spd Karel would probably be preferable to a Neutral Navarre. But being at the grace of IS's RNG isn't always reliable and since Navarre is much more accessible, he's easier to work with in that regard. And most importantly, he's the better pretty boy. :^)

I'm conflicted. On one hand, Wo Dao is befitting the Scarlet Sword's name and is objectively better than a Killing Edge, but on the other hand... Navarre and Killing Edge have always gone hand in hand. Still, I want a reason to use Navarre over my million other reds and a Wo Dao would give me that reason. If I ever get one. ;-;

At neutral stats, Navarre is actually the better offensive unit when compared to Karel with 31/37 Atk/Spd versus Karel's 30/35. Even if Karel has +Atk, I would take 31/37 over 33/35, since more speed means more doubles means more skill procs which means more Wo Dao damage. That said, I too need a Karel to feed to my Navarre. IS pls. Karel focus when.
