Constellation: Part 4

So to put it simply! You can only have 40 units in the Constellation. I have reached 36 and the next star I play will put me over that limit. So!

A double post. But with an update. New poll added. I believe I will be playing Death or Glory soon enough but I'm curious about what people think about this run.

Chapter 2 Also an update on my end. Holidays are almost done and I'm taking some time off to work on some mods and to get some other content out. School won't eat up too much of my time for a while.

I know villagers use portraits but anyone made anything like this?

I'm referring to something like this. Does anything exist out there for this? I know it's an odd thing to ask about but I was wondering if anyone knew before I attempted to make one for my own purposes.

Tekun clutched the wound and dropped his sword. This was the end of the Immortal Soldier. The anger directed towards his limitations and the remorse he felt about what ambitions would go unfulfilled faded with the pain. Only the darkness seemed to make sense. Logan rushed to his friend. His sword fell second. "Gods. What have I done?" And clutched Tekun tightly in his arms. "There could be only one end." His gruff voice was weak but ice. Tekun's words were always cold. "D...Don't say that." Logan stuttered. His eyes were faucets. He trembled. Tekun coughed, clenched his eyes. The crimson fluid streamed from his lips and messily stained his mouth. "That was...a good..swing..." His head lolled back. If you're a man, there's only one thing you have to do to prove it. Swing your blade without hesitation." His words echoed back. He pulled the corpse close and screamed, wishing to no longer be. Someone actually did it. My god. <3

Which sparked a war waged by the remaining Herons that lasted three millennia and resulted in more bloodshed than any dimension had ever seen, but that's a different story.

Constellation Part 3

I bet many of you are reading this and are going? DeeAych? What is this? What are you doing? I don't see any mods called this on Serenes. This isn't anything I know. That's perfectly okay. Let me elaborate a little. A long, long time ago back when FEU was still a thing, I worked on a small personal project called Requiem of War. It was a hack that I cherished a lot because it was my first and I put my blood, sweat and tears into making it. Over the course of a handful of years I got about 12 or 13 chapters done. A lot of it isn't original and I wanted to make something hard. Looking back, I did a lot of things wrong and a few things came up that made me want to touch on this again. Expect a lot of commentary on small things and a lot of elaboration. I will never go back to this project but it's nice to revisit. This is just something new to tide people up and an excuse to get a poll up to see what you all would like for me to do next. This mod was started sometime back in 2007 and the final version of it was released on Sep 17, 2009. It follows a character of mine and well, that's about it. Preferably English. I can't speak or read other languages, save for some German. Demos are acceptable but I'd rather something longer with enough chapters to make worth while.

I have to disagree with your critique of the ocean on the far left side. I think it looks absolutely fine. I hate it when people insist that everything on the map should look busy. Why can't an ocean just be an ocean?

I'd like to object with regards to the branded fact that Soren does share a slightly less intense eye color with his mother and the fact that his hair is a very dark green and not black. If you look closely you can see that it possibly was darkened by Ashnard's but that seems to go against most of what we do see. Also, Sanaki and Micaiah have the same exact eye color but these two aren't sisters exactly but even then they both display an aptitude for magic. As for Petrine being a branded, at this point I may say they may not even need to be direct descendents. I also threw Palleas in there but even though he has similar characteristics to Ashnard, he's still not a branded. There are a lot of hair colors but not many who share ones with one another, let alone classes. Just throwing more food for thought. Edit: Though I suppose she could be like Palleas and show signs still and not be tied. It could be coincidence but unlike him the brand/lack of brand isn't a truly damning factor here.
