I've beaten normal, hard, lunatic, and lunatic+. I've gotten all the romantic supports, all the kid supports, everything. Now I want a real challange! I wanna play the game and beat it without planning ahead on my own. Becouse if I plan I optimize everything and then the game becomes a cakewalk for me. This is where you guys come in! I want you guys to pick the following for me: My Avatar (Build, hair/face, weakness, strength) All pairings (including kids and the Avatar) Pick the units I have to use for the final battle And any other things you think would make it better (such as banning certain items or DLC) Difficulty level will be chosen by four flips of a coin to make it true luck of the gods on whether I succeed or not. Well? Anyone wanna help me out with this?

true but... maybe its the way the translation was handled? It seemed like (at least to me) that there were a lot of hints towards the first Exalt being Marth....

The more I read dialogue concerning the First Exalt and about Grima it is starting to make me really wonder if Grima actually STARTED as 'Grima'. Think about how stories change, how people are reffered to change over the years to get my logic. The game makes a lot of refferances to the First Exalt and in some cases it is made rather obvious the seem to be talking about Marth (Cordelia and Donnel's supports refferance the First Exalt's wife, with the heavily implications that it is Caeda they are talking about). Which makes me wonder about Grima more and more. What if Grima wasnt originally called that? What if he started off as a different dragon, like say.... Madeus? (that was the dragon from fe12 right?). It is entirely possible, and would actually explain a lot of Grima and keep it rather in line with Awakening being a sequal to fe11&12. What are your guy's thoughts on this?

FE 7: Ninian, Nils, Uther, Louise, Pent, Athos, Brammimond, Roland, Rath, Guy, Vaida, Heath, Legault.... FE8: Seth, Joshua, Knoll, Lute, Artur, Vanessa, Syrene, Cormag FE12: Kris. Both male and female, even if they were default appearances. I wanted Kris (team them up with Katarina and King Marth...). Mildly disappointed at the lack of Rody and Luke to... Actualy FE13 characters: Grima. I really really wanted to recruit Grima. Paticularly since in my main file I married Chrom and then I had to wonder about something: Remove 'Grima' and that Avatar is still technically there. What kind of mental state must that person be in if you remove Grima's influence? I think it would be really cool to add this kind of character to show more of Grima's power, personality, and backstory while adding more detail to your alternate self as well. (it'd be a nightmare, I know, but I would personally love it). That Valkrie from the Valm arc (I tend to forget enemy unit's names). She had an awsome design and I really wanted her. I wish we could have recruited Phila in some way as well..... Epic 'Stach as well. General 'Stach is made of utter win and should have not only been recruitable but also became a marriage candidate. Validar. There is a lot we still dont know about the Avatar, about Grima, about the Grimleal. So I really wished we had an ACTUAL Grimleal to recruit. I vote Validar! (Papa-Child bonding, dammit!) I am so beyond weird.....

For whatever reason the RNG hates my Anna. poor stat growths and the enemies seem to think she has a bright neon 'KILL ME' sign right above her head (it makes her hard to train)

I love the Hero class. Im not exactly sure why, but if a unit can become it I tend to reclass them to it (at least for a short while) Mages in general were favored in my game. I hated the healer classes though. And archers. Archers and healers were a pain in the ass to level (so I'd promote/reclass them the instant I could. Virion never ended up as a sniper in my file) Manaketes were awsome as well (expecially after I reclassed them to Mages, Sages, Wyvern Riders, and Wyvern Lords) I did not care for the Taguel class (Panne and Yarne ended up as assassins...)

Getting bored of a game is completely and utterly normal. I adore the Fire Emblem series and i replay Awakening a lot but even I get bored with it after a while. When that happens I just go play something else (no shortage there since I just the Mass Effect trilogy and about 5 other 3DS games) until I decide I want to play it again. (Or I work or go on walks or go see a random movie if I feel up to it)

I figured a year at least. Chrom would have been looking around as would everyone else and that could take a long time depending on how far and thorough they traveled (along with all the other royal crap they'd have to worry about) So, i figured minimum of a year between Grima's defeat and finding the Avatar

Thanks SoC Yes it is random, but the fact that the artist actually drew the dress mentioned in the support conversation (along with Lucina being the one to wear it) makes it really funny.

Emmeryn Dress btw, this was drawin by the same person who did all the character art for the games. So THIS is what that dress looked like..... I need to stop laughing. I really do. Ironically, A Female Morgan that ISNT Lucina's daughter cant support with her either. My male Avatar and Chrom were total bros. Why cant their two daughters support?
