Forrest/Rhajat seemed decent to me; pretty quirky friendship without her being too creepy. I haven't read many of her other ones yet to see if she does it often, but if it helps she never mentions Corrin once, which is something I disliked about most of Tharja's supports and Robin. Although she maaaybe mentions Soleil or possibly Nina...??? Wonder if this was a reference since I can't imagine anyone else: Rhajat: Hey, Forrest. Sorry for being weird the other day. And thank you for the clothes. Forrest: Oh, you're welcome. I'm relieved to hear you say that. How did the clothes fit? Rhajat: They fit perfectly. Almost as if you had been spying on me. But I know that you weren't. Because I caught the person who actually WAS spying on me. Heh. Heh. Let's just say...she won't make that mistake again...

I like Kaze with Mozu; just mainly about their rivaling skills in potato peeling speed which eventually turns into him helping her train to be more useful on the battlefield. Probably boring to most people, but I like how quaint and simple it is. Also reveals how many odd things went into Kaze's ninja training, like cooking and painting fences.

Perhaps, but at least it establishes why he is the way he is, even if it doesn't excuse his behavior. I like when a character actually has a backstory that can help you understand their motivations even when you don't agree with them. And we get to know a little bit more about Azura's relationship with her mother, which I don't remember her being particularly forthright with, though I haven't seen all her supports yet. But yeah, she definitely has better supports, hence why I pair her with others despite it being one of his few decent ones. Mozu too.

Jakob/Mozu and Jakob/Azura are indeed very nice. Camilla/Keaton is, sadly, not as great as I'd hoped, but there are worse imo. And at least the S Support opened on these memorable lines: Keaton: I think you need a strong man. Camilla: ...You have ten seconds from the end of this sentence to reconsider that remark.

For the longest time I remember hearing nothing but people talking about Soleil/Ophelia and other supports of hers with females like they were ten times better than any she had with males. I was never interested enough to check, but it seems I should've known better; however much Treehouse tried to salvage her more controversial supports (and even then they're only 'meh' level now, nowhere near great), it doesn't seem to be able to make up for how terrible she is with the other girls and her own mother. Not to mention the fact that they gutted her male supports for no reason; I'm willing to bet none of them could possibly be as bad as that Ophelia one (and I can't believe people would ship that over some of her better supports, like Kiragi...or what used to be her S rank with Kiragi...). I find it sad that after all that whining others did over the Japanese Soleil controversy, I actually miss some of her better written Japanese supports over what we were ultimately given; I appreciate what they tried to do with Corrin, but I could care less about that one and wish they'd left it alone if it meant her other supports wouldn't have been sacrificed. I guess she was never going to be anything more than a disappointment no matter what. Depressing, since I liked her character design from day 1, only to be a badly done trope... :< I'm also not a fan of most of Jakob's, but even though he's still mean to Felicia, I can appreciate Jakob/Felicia a little more than the others since there's a bit of familiarity between them that he lacks with other women, which makes me think that theirs is more realistic in that he'd be condescending but very willing to help her out with her maid skills. To the point that he considers any failure of hers a failure of his, and he won't give up on her till she achieves her dream of being a better maid. Doesn't excuse him still being a general jerk, but I found it to be more in character than his supports with most of the other women, who he lacks any familiarity reason to be so condescending to on the outset. That, and his non-jerkass supports were with people I preferred with others, so its the next best thing for me I guess. And while I don't hate them perse, I do find Xander/Charlotte and Takumi/Oboro to be very overrated and overdone in general. I'll probably have more when I find more...

They do! I'll admit, before I got to read their stuff, I wasn't expecting much (thought it'd be another typical innuendo filled one) but I was really blown away with the depth of character for both. I really like Niles (and Odin by extension too) waaay more than I ever thought I would; best retainers~!

OMG I LOVE IT! I already liked their main game supports, and this just brings it full circle! Quality supports, those two, as usual~! I need moar translations for their other respective convos! Its hard waiting... T^T

Wow, even more characters?! That's great! Though I'm wondering about the context of Setsuna's CG...? I kind of agree TBH. While its nice that they got some more Hoshidans, and its good for Setsuna and Subaki fans, they really should've given higher rated characters more of a priority. I don't even remember what place those two got....were they Dev choices? And its ok; I would've been just as salty a Leo fan had the reverse happened, which could've been considering Takumi ranked first in all the previous polls. Speaking for myself, I'm also pretty sad that we didn't get Takumi and Azura since I really think they would've looked great, even with getting Leo. Though I suppose I have that at least.

Ohhh WOW! They all look so FINE!!!! Leo especially.... >///< Geez, now I really wish they made even more art for all the characters. I'd love to see their hypothetical halloween costumes. I'm very pleased with how good the vampire motif fit the Nohr siblings though, especially Leo and Camilla~!

I love this rendition, especially the instrumentals; I like seeing Amalee's interpretations of songs, and this one is great! I can appreciate some of the new lyrics as well. However, I think I'll be in the minority on this one and say I like the original better; Rena's and Renka's singing are still my favorite voices to listen to with this song, and while I understand that this was written before the localization came out I still prefer the lyrics we got in the game since I feel they reference and represent the events of the game better (especially the Revelations verse, since the original hints at Anankos being the one singing the song while these new lyrics don't appear to reflect that at all; that was one of my favorite parts of the song, and it not being in there kinda disappoints me in the end). Still a lovely cover nevertheless! I'll certainly add it to my list of music to play while working on stuff, which includes other Amalee covers as well.

I know I have an appalling span of attention when it comes to hanging out here, but unfortunately I have lots of daily obligations that I already have a hard time keeping track of; everything else tends to fall by the wayside. Even so, that's no reason to unleash Monokumas on anyone. If it weren't for my upgraded defenses, I'd go mad from the endless "upupupupupupu"-ing. Yup! Its a thing~! XD I'm still in Birthright about 2/3 of the way through (still reeling after having to fight my husbando from another life, so I'm taking a break by tackling the child paralogues and getting my team exp; they're actually harder than I expected at this level...). Hopefully I can get to Revelations soon so I can get something out of having it early (and absolve the pain the other routes forced on me). I took my time a little to get used to the new controls and appreciate the sharper, cleaner graphics, so I got to right before the Forest Temple before we headed out for dinner. Its nice so far, but i still think the Windwaker HD is more impressive.

Birthday was awesome today! Woke up to a nice breakfast made by my mum and my brother and I were simultaneously playing Fates and eating, trading stories and info on our progress in the game (and trying to explain to my mum just what we were talking about), then I got to open my gift when my sister got back from work; my mum got me Twilight Princess HD with the Wolf Link Amiibo, so I played that for several hours until we all went out to eat Japanese food as tradition. I'm sooo stuffed; I really shouldn't have eaten that much. XD So yeah, good day to be turning 23~!

Me too, I initially only really liked Compatriot of Darkness, but after hearing enough of Brotherhood of Light, I grew to like it as well (gives me just the amount of chills and excitement i need to write a scene I've been imagining for my fic for a while). My Xander was near impenetrable in defense and I don't know if he was res blessed but he'd shrug off most magic with a bit of timely healing (I paired Xander with Peri, so its totally doable even without Charlotte). Keaton definitely helps her offensively and defensively, to the point I wasn't sure if I wanted them to dual strike or pair up. I don't remember having too many problems with the hex rod; my usual answer to that is to just let Elise soak up the staff uses since her res is so high it almost always misses and she wouldn't really mind getting hit with it since she shouldn't be getting attacked to begin with. I tanked the sides while picking my way down, so it all comes to proper planning and anticpating what your going to be hit with before each turn. The skills are also a pain though. Vengeance Critkumi is not fun. Cap is 26, which my bae Leo comfortably met, and with a tonic plus a few supports he'll be a god of magic and death. I'm so in love~ >///<

I'm not sure sadly, beyond finding something as similar/even better to fill it with. Its why I don't watch void traps like Clannad and AnoHana. I'd never know how to get out. Don't ever be like me and break out the ice cream on especially boring or depressing nights. I honestly don't feel any different (though I've been saying the same thing since I joined this forum at age 19, so maybe that's the point of this stage in life?). When you go to get a haircut and they think you're 15, it makes you wonder. They also thought I was 12 when I turned 18 that very day. Constructive Criticism is good criticism. I can understand how it might sting to get all your mistakes thrown at you, but its necessary for growth, and i like to think that I've grown up enough as a person to be more enthusiastic and receptive to helpful feedback rather than tunnel vision only on the negative feelings that criticism in general brings. What doesn't bring you down makes you stronger, I would think. I hope they can learn to see that too. And thank you for the offer, I'll definitely remember for future projects (especially for next SF Scribbles or even for that Fates fic I'm burning to write). Despite being in the know about the Takumi Dragon vein BS for Ch 10, I still beat it on the first go, though I was scrambling a bit at the end when ALL the units decided to ignore their predictable "attack the player" AI and rush past me to get past the line. OnePunchCamilla is the only thing that managed to catch the pegasus knights and win the day. Ch 20 I also beat on the first try because turtling and proper managing/pre-empting all the dragon vein wind tunnels without screwing myself over. Might've been luck. The only other chapter I had problems with besides ninja hell was Ch 11, mostly because I was lazy the first several attempts and didn't check for skills. Awakening made me soft. Oh, please tell her happy birthday from a fellow 3/6-er~!

Thanks! :) My fave Battle track is a tie between Dusk Falls and the third Nohr theme (Map B3, can't remember the eng name). And the first (non prologue) Revelation map theme is great too, especially the calm version. Welp, for now were equal in seniority. >:P I really should invest in a music device instead of always streaming my music off Youtube.
