Dance on a unit without dancer BST means wind season is going to be a huge drag from now on. Hopefully it uses the swap ai and not the dance ai.

I figured I'd try infernal with my arena team instead of actually putting together a team that countered things, so I parked Fae on the defense tile above the right bridge, put Tiki and Fjorm buff range, and then watched Fae take out every enemy by herself. It wasn't very exciting, but kinda fun nonetheless.

I spent 135 orbs and got two Fjorms and a Xander. Please end my pitiful life. The only reason I even pulled blues was because I wanted a Caeda.

I've definitely brought Leonardo to endgame at least three times, and Meg at least twice. I don't remember for sure how many times I've brought Laura, but I try and shuffle up which healer I bring, so I've probably brought her at least twice as well. Everyone else except Fiona has come at least once, but I'm currently doing a playthrough where I'm babying her hardcore with the intention of finally bringing her along.

Purely from a character specific perspective: Muarim: I will forever be Muarim's #1 fan. He's my favourite character in the series. Benny: I absolutely love him as a character but if I'm being honest, I'd probably struggle to find a place for him in my team even if I had him as a 5 star Heather: I'm possibly the only person in existence who's taken Heather to endgame multiple times. Brady: Like Benny, he'd likely be a bad unit, but I love him regardless Brunya: Don't judge me

It's actually tomorrow at 8:30 pst, not half an hour from now. I think they got their time zones mixed up since it's technically today for people on the east coast.

Gameplay-wise, the only one I have that actually makes a difference in fights more often than not is Armads. Aesthetically though, there's something just exceedingly satisfying about the little tree that Brynhildr pops into existence. If only I actually had a Leo.

I'm not going to lie, I don't enjoy this event at all. It was kind of fun the first few times, but now it's just a huge slog. I don't have the time or interest to grind through the top level 5-10 times a day, so I'll be lucky if I even hit the Breath of Life seal.

I feel like everyone who had issues with their archers just didn't forge themselves a killer bow. Hunting Volley turns archers from inaccurate slowpokes into your strongest and most reliable killing units pretty much instantaneously.

My first run through was: Alm Saber/Kamui/Gray @ Brave Swords Silque/Faye/Tatiana for warping Python/Leon @ Killer Bows Delthea @ Mage Ring The Dread Fighters had been looped once each, but during the main story through regular gameplay with just a bit of on the way grinding. I pretty much just warped Saber or Kamui in and hoped they killed things with their 70 crit, which they almost always did.

I made it all the way too the boss in one go, warped Atlas at it to see how much damage I'd do, tried to turnwheel back and had the game crash. Needless to say, I was very unhappy. I'm grinding up a few units now to make dragon fighting less painful this time around.

Zephiel is also the only character that I've come across whose skill activation attack art is completely different from his regular attack art instead of just having some flashy magic edited on top of it and having his mouth open up.

I'm sitting on 8 Florinas, only 2 of which are 4 stars. I'm really sick of her. I also had something like 6 Sakuras but I sent most of them home because healers aren't even good for skill inheritance.

I dropped 120 orbs and didn't get a single bunny. I've given up on wasting orbs on grey summons, but I did a couple reds for the heck of it and got a non-spring Lucina, so it wasn't a total wash. I'm still kinda mad, though.

You should also note that no matter who Julia ends up marrying, the ending won't change and they'll go their separate ways during the epilogue like when a daughter ends up inheriting a title. It's pretty disappointing.

So, NoA just tweeted this: There's no actual info on how it works, but presumably you're going to be able to give skills from one unit to another (probably by sacrificing the unit with the skill). So, get ready for Advanced arena to have 4 people who can counter at 1-2 range. :P

So, looking through the unit lists and skills, some of the best support units seem to be: Olivia/Azura: Dance/Sing is crazy good. I pulled a 3 star Olivia and my team went from feeling just okay to extremely strong immediately. It lets you use a frontliner to take out two units in a turn, or take out the enemy's big gun unscathed, or reach their cavalry with a foot unit, or pretty much anything else, and since nobody has more than 3 move your dancer is almost always still safe. I'd say Olivia's better than Azura, since she gets Spur Attack instead of Res, but Azura's definitely a better fighter, so it's mostly up to preference. Sharena: At 5 stars she has three separate support skills that can all activate over the course of a turn, but even just at 3/4 stars she has both rally Atk and Spur Def, which are both very good. She also makes a pretty good combat unit at higher stars for when a rally won't make a difference F!Corrin: She looks like a great offensive support on paper, since Dark Breath (Atk and Spd -5 to all enemies within 2 spaces of target, does not affect target) could be absolutely crippling to enemies if they clump up, but in practice it's kinda hard to use and she has to be on the front lines. She also gets Spur Atk, which pretty good. Staff users: they pretty much all have a niche. Fire and Wind Balm are both really strong, and healing is always nice, though the better healing spells make the Balms come slower. Caeda/Gaius: They both have Rally Speed, which is probably the best rally. Gaius also has dagger debuffs while Caeda has Hone Fliers if you've got a flier heavy team. Is there anyone else I missed who really stands out? Do you think support units are worth a slot? Personally, I run two combat units and two supports, though that might be mostly because I've only got two 5 stars.

I pulled a 4-star Donnel and he's been useless from the get go. He comes with a brave lance but has 3 base speed, so if he's got it equipped literally everything can double him, and his other skills (hp+, swap hp) are really underwhelming so he's not even worth training up

Whenever the game has to install additional data. There's one on the first bootup of the game, one once you make it past the prologue (I think, it happened automatically around then for me), and there was one this morning.

I've been playing it on bus rides and my phone says Heroes only used 1.5 mb. Did you install the patches on data or something?

My best by an enormous margin is my 5-star Takumi. Other than him, I've only got 3 sub par 4-stars and a bunch of junky lower guys.

I beat it around a year ago and had a lot of fun, but also I abused grinding and the Angel Ring to the point where there was borderline no challenge to the endgame, so I'm looking forward to playing Echoes more seriously.

I get that Arden's bad. He's pretty easily the worst unit in Genealogy. But I did a run where I gave him massive amounts of favouritism (like, Leg/Pursuit/Speed rings and the Brave Sword) and it was easily the most fun I've ever had going through Gen 1. I don't think there's any other character (save for Holsety!Corple, which is hilarious) who can make the game more exciting just by merit of challenging myself to use him. He's also not really that bad for the first couple of chapters before he's able to be favouritism-ed if you're not in too much of a hurry and want to mess around with dumb pairings anyway. So, 3/10. Also, fun fact: even promoted and with the leg ring, he still can't cross the mountains into the bottom half of the Silesia chapter
