    Yo!

GTF, I didn't know you well but I respected you. Welcome.
  2. Could be, they did accidentally remove the Strength boost from Resolve possibly because of changing its activation from str% at low health -> half health.
  3. My disappointment was the direction the plot went in Part 4. The fact that much of it was a Xanatos Gambit kinda saved it, but what a shitty ending.
  4. I think the promotion to Valkyrie led Mist to be a more combat orientated Healer or something, or just Swordfighting in the blood. Only Male Swordmasters get SS, but I think that's because of their supposedly expertise handle on the sword, with the SS rank magnifying that. Micaiah is the ultimate "holy maiden" type figure I guess in her third tier form... so the fact that she can heal with expertise + use light magic very well could try to show that. Ike probably was given SS Axes so he could use his Urvan, his father's Axe.
  5. Ike's probably my favorite video game character, although all of the Greil Mercenaries are pretty awesome in their own way... cept Rhys.
  6. He has a good 8-10 point lead in Strength in the endgame (with respect to Nephenee), though (look at their averages). And stronger weapons too. Wishblade/Urvan comparison only matters from like... Chapter F-3 onwards. When you actually have both at the same time; Haar has the Urvan for long anyway if you're going that route. Other than that, Haar's weapons are cheaper and much stronger.
  7. I literally could never find a time to use her. She starts out way too weak, and the results aren't even worth it. EDIT: k I thought this was the FE10 board, hahahaha Astrid' cool. She levels up pretty fast, is mounted and has axes after promotion.
  8. You were making a point about their strength being only 10 higher than Whispers. Which is a stupid point, considering the difference in weapons. The point was more centric about how weight's pretty much irrelevant for physical units (aside from chars from Part 1). Jill's plenty fast with an Iron Axe, though, and her Strength isn't bad.EDIT: So yeah, I kinda posted at almost the same time as the guy before me.
  9. Seth solos are probably the easiest solos to do ever. He starts out destroying everything, and ends up destroying everything; his stats aren't even that much worse than Franz's or the other Cavaliers either iirc, that is when Franz and them catch up. 8 move is pretty rape too.
  10. 10 is pretty significant, especially since he uses Axes (which are, once again, inexpensive). Whispers use really expensive, low powered knives too, so it equates to like 15 or 20 damage difference. I'm pretty sure Cancel activates a lot more than Bane too. It happened when Strength determined your AS. Nolan and Jill are pretty much the only ones that have to "grow into" axes, everyone else is pretty much set with them.
  11. If he can't kill them, then let someone else finish them off. It's a boon if he can almost kill them, since you don't want him killing in the first place. >_>
  12. And easy. You have Seth destroying everything.
  13. Ellicott City, MD. I used to live in Bel Air about 45 miles east. Cool, there are a bunch of MDers here haha
  14. Well, Marcus is a good meatshield, but his bases are poor to the point where he'll probably get outclassed in about 7 or 8 chapters IIRC... Zealot is self-explanatory, but Percival has good bases and decent enough growths for him to last. I'd place Percival as the best, but Marcus does have his uses.
  15. Pretty much in agreement with Mekkah. We have to talk again, it's been a while And I'd think it's a pain to baby her.
  16. I'm not sure if this counts at all, but I saw Fire Emblem on a commercial and went "this looks cool." I've played SSBM for ages before that, but I never knew that Marth and Roy were from the game at all...
  17. I was saying a positive thing about the Mani Katti, not a negative thing.
