  1. Overkill offense didn't exactly help me when it came down to the fact that Jamka!Faval didn't have as great a skill or defense stat as I would've liked. And knowing how this game's RNG works, then it results in a few more 1-hit kills than I'd really like...
  2. I didn't say, 'I wasn't expecting the Spanish Inquisition'. ;)
  3. All right, all right, that's enough. This has gotten terribly silly. Right. Now, for something quite different.
  4. You mean the 'Cheese Shop sketch'?
  5. I personally prefer the 'Tinny Words' sketch to the 'Dead Parrot' sketch, but this is still hilarious.
  6. Eh, it's close enough. Either way, he's still trying to help the orphanage.
  7. ^Apparently likes to insult my intelligence.
  8. No. It's dead. Thanks. Shadow Dragon treated me fairly well. I was kind of bummed that the emulation of the European ROM didn't really produce any sound effects, but otherwise it was cool. I do wish they had support convos, though... :(
  9. I know Jamka!Patty can turn out to be mediocre. Jamka!Faval was okay, but definitely not king of the world material either. Anyways, yeah, I would say they were raised in an orphanage. It was probably an orphanage in Conote, too, seeing as how Faval originally joins the bad guys to defend the orphanage from being destroyed by Blume.
  10. Hello, I've come here to register a complaint about this horseman that I bought not half an hour ago from this very boutique.
  11. Looks like Bush signed an executive order to do extra surveillance. Your thoughts?
  12. I dunno, I always thought her hair looked kind of stupid... At least it isn't the hairdo of Kate Gosselin. I'll give her points for that.
  13. It really depends; I think a textbook example of this effect is seen in Monty Python's Flying Circus. Sometimes, the laughter (I think it's real studio audience laughter, actually...) is to rather good effect, but sometimes people laugh so hard in some of the sketches on that show that it becomes hard to hear what the Pythons are saying...
  14. Your sarcasm is not appreciated, because I still suck at the harder sudoku puzzles.
  15. Let's see... Leo, Volug, Oscar *shot*, Ena... That would be four people that have died in a single playthrough of RD that I've done.
  16. My vote goes to RD!Lucia. Seriously, that haircut made her suck!
  17. My vote goes to Lakche. Shanan is nothing without the Balmung.
  18. Most people would rebutt this with the whole 'God works in mysterious ways' bullshit that can't be backed up. Honestly, it's the worst cop-out strategy in history. However, being a former Roman Catholic myself, I can tell you that the line of thinking that 'God works in mysterious ways' stems from the story of Noah's Ark; iconic as it is, it seems to me that the stuff that's relevant to modernist Christian theology is the end part where God makes the rainbow. Most theologists theorize that this appearance of the rainbow is God's promise to stay out of our affairs for all time, and as such we have total dominion over our will. Of course, that doesn't mean it's not a cop-out strategy, seeing as how all of the most conservative ministers pull that shit out all the time. I absolutely hate that saying because there's no way that most people can argue against that if they so happen to pull it out of their asses, but the fact remains that it still has its basis in the Bible. Ironic how it's the only thing that most radical Christians take seriously... And it's not really God that's punishing people; it's people punishing people. Even if God did exist, according to what I said above he's got no part in punishing anybody (I'm not counting radical Christians here since they don't take their Bible verses seriously) since we're the ones creating the conditions for people to be punished in.
  19. I actually didn't use to play this game until this past winter break when my grandmother was doing it and I would somehow finish all of the puzzles that she had only completed, say, a quarter of. That's literally how I got good at sudoku. Of course, I don't time myself since I haven't had much time to play sudoku lately and because I don't have any good puzzles right now...
  20. Actually, he sounds like Ferr from the Something Awful forums.
