  1. My Castle Code: 18313-05038-62565-13420 Chosen affinity: Hoshido Avatar Name: Isaac Castle Name: Fort Koga Region: NA Food Resource: Rice Mineral Resource: Jade Battle Level: Idk, I haven't really done anything with that side of things. So medium-ish maybe? Additional Notes: It's a pretty sexy castle.
  2. I've got some questions about character creation. If I'm planning to play Birthright and just stick with White Blood, what stat modifiers should I ideally choose? And for picking secondary classes, even though I'm just planning to use White Blood on my first playthrough, I should probably make my secondary class be something I can't normally get on Birthright, right?
  3. I actually hadn't heard the original Japanese version since I heard Rena's version, and I just went back to listen to the original. I think the English version is even better than the Japanese one.
  4. The Japanese version of the song is great, but so is Rena's version. I've listened to the English version on repeat a lot since it was released in the Smash DLC, and once footage of the Nohr version made it to youtube, I've been listening to that a lot as well. I think that might be my favorite version. I haven't heard too much of her actual dialogue in the game (trying to avoid too many spoilers), but I've liked what I have heard. And the songs are just so good. I hope an English soundtrack gets released, with all the different variants of the song included.
  5. I would actually like to see a mostly original cast, with only a few returning characters, all of whom would originate from the same game. I loved Hyrule Warriors, but I just don't want to see the same mashup idea reused for this. We've got the Awakening DLC for that. A specific example plot could be something like this: After Awakening, Inigo, Owain, and Severa went off on another adventure, leaving Lucina & company behind. So, why not give Lucina a new adventure? Lucina and a couple other of the kids decide to go to ancient Magvel. Lucina brings the Shield of Seals along, since it's no longer really needed in Ylisse. Takin on the name Nada Kuya, she joins Morva and the Five Heroes to fight Fomortiis. They end up having to seal him within the stones of the Shield of Seals, and Lucina leaves them behind. Upon returning to Ylisse, Chrom grounds her for losing them. The end.
  6. Mostly the lore, but also the gameplay and characters. I don't care much about story, it's mostly just a vessel for lore in my opinion. I'm curious about that as well.
  7. I'd say Ephraim and Alm are tied for my favorite, with Roy taking second place. Alm looks almost exactly how I imagine he would look in a hypothetical Gaiden remake, the design feels like his old design updated to a similar aesthetic to that of FE11/12, which had the best armor designs in the series imo. Meanwhile Ephraim looks how I imagine Great Lord Ephraim would have looked more or less if Great Lord Ephraim had gotten more than just a tiny sprite. If there's ever a SS remake, I hope his Lord outfit remains the same, while he gets his Awakening design upon promoting. Roy doesn't really have any of that going for him, but it's still a great design with great art. All the others range from just fine to bad, and aren't worth me giving actual rankings.
  8. I've been a big fan of this concept for a long time now. I'm kind of leaning towards mounts being a skill that must be equipped, rather than an item, however. I feel like taking a precious skill slot is a bigger deal than taking a precious inventory slot. This would help keep mounts in check a bit, I think.
  9. I'm not super worried about mine being canceled, but I am worried it won't arrive on the 19th. I preordered mine from Gamestop and foolishly set it to ship to my house. I only went with standard shipping.
  10. I think that's exactly what they are, Einherjar. Smash is a game about amiibo coming to life and fighting eachother, and Einherjar are cards that come to life and fight. Neither of them are the actual characters themselves, and are often inaccurate in both design and personality. They're the same thing. These Einherjar just happen to be the same ones used in Smash 4.
  11. One thing that hasn't been pointed out yet in this thread that could be important: I wish one could preorder the whole pack from the eshop, I recently got an eshop giftcard...
  12. So I'm wanting to add Falconight to Shadow Dragon's female promoted reclass set, so I don't have to worry about Elysian Whips if I want one. However, upon loading up the Falconight in Nightmare, I see that it already is technically in the reclass set. Does anyone know how to get it to show up in the reclass set like a normal class?
  13. These are awesome, and I look forward to seeing volumes 3 and 4 eventually! Thank you for making these.
  14. I played Awakening in casual mode, but I realized that I would almost always reset if a character died anyway. I'll probably stick with casual, even though it's mostly meaningless anyway the way I play it. But what I'd really like to see (and have wanted since before casual was even a thing in FE12) is something between casual and classic, a Star Fox 64 mode. If a character dies, they're out for the rest of that chapter, as well as the next chapter, to heal up. But two chapters later, they're back. But now that we've got Phoenix mode, I don't think they'll be adding a 4th mode any time soon.
