That new video is cute. I can't wait to pull for Edelgard! Haven't been excited about a unit in Heroes in so long, but I'm definitely going to be looking to give her the best build possible!

Edelgard alt season is officially inaugurated and I am here for it. I love the art and shall be spending all the orbs necessary to get her!

Maybe if there's an Awakening remaster and CYL is still a thing. Can't say I'm bummed about it since he's my least favourite lord after Corrin but it must be awful to be a Marth or Chrom fan voting in CYL. I mean, anything could happen and since it's unlikely that any new games will come out before the next CYL, they could both win, but I think Robin and Seliph will be strong competition.

Yawn... I'm incredibly salty about Byleth and Camilla winning those categories even though it was obvious. Edit: aw, I just saw Ike and Soren are pretty high in the dancing category. Nice. Also, Sylvain and... Sylvain. Lmao.

Next is FE3, they'll surely mention its remake just like the first two games, which... surprise! Is getting an English digital release. Then will be FE4, which will come with a trailer announcing its remake, planned for 2021! Once they get to FE9, Tellius HD Duology will be confirmed for release this fall! Finally, at the end of the countdown, they'll confirm a second wave of DLC for Three Houses! Please let at least one of these things happen

I'd love to play them on the Switch even with the language barrier.

I want FE4 remake or Radiance HD collection. I'll accept other possibilities but that's what I'm specifically hoping for. FE Maker would be amazing but idk how realistic a wish it is.

If they're announcing something, it could happen later today as it's already Monday in Japan. Shadow dropping an FE Direct doesn't seem like something they'd do, but I hope it happens.

Hoping for a remake next, a release either at the end of this year or spring next year seems doable (right?). Which means the next new game wouldn't be announced until next year at the earliest, for release in 2022. Hoping for more Fódlan.

Wondering if we'll get an FE Direct, or any news really. The anniversary date is fast approaching but I have to assume the coronavirus has affected IS and planned projects may be delayed. In any case I do think we'll see a remake and Warriors 2 revealed soon, at the very least. Maybe a remaster too if we're lucky.

Mostly everyone hit right where I was expecting to. Exceptions being: Dorothea: I hated her hat, I assumed she'd be the worst fanservicey character in the game. Turns out she's one of the most well developed and interesting characters. Claude: I was really excited to see why he was hyped up as a schemer, maybe he would betray the other lords, maybe he would use the war to his advantage. But he really doesn't do... much scheming. I still like him but significantly less than I was expecting to. Ignatz: totally disinterested in him because of his silly hair, but I ended up liking him a fair bit. Lorenz: he's actually deeper than I expected. I thought he'd be an insufferable/memey character, but his role within the Alliance makes his story pretty interesting, and he has some great supports. Ingrid: I love her pre skip design and her backstory is pretty interesting, but she turned out to be a bit underwhelming. I don't dislike her, I'm just indifferent to her, but I was hoping to really like her. Cyril: not sure what I was expecting, but his unique status and background among the cast had potential to make him a better character than he is. Hanneman and Manuela: I didn't expect to like them as much as I do. Manuela seemed fanservicey and Hanneman seemed boring, but they're both so lovable and have great supports with the students. Catherine: I expected to love her, but she's pretty rude and narrow minded in pretty much every support of hers I've seen. Rhea: I wasn't sure what her character would be, but what we got wasn't what I imagined at all. She's unlike any other character in the series and very interesting to discuss. The villains: once we got a glimpse of them in the E3 trailer, I was expecting a lot more out of them than what we got. It's a shame their part in the plot isn't explored/dealt with more fully.

Hahaha so true. My thought process was basically Finn but born into my family, therefore no Leif and Nanna to take his attention off me and my sisters. 😛 I hope the results for this Jubilee make sense. I hope someone who's actually a teacher wins that category, and someone who's actually a sympathetic villain win that one, for example. Wonder if they'll disqualify picks that don't fit the category.

Strange question, but I chose Finn. I think he'd be an awesome brother considering how he cares for and guides Leif.

Wow, when I voted for Marianne a couple of days ago I was the only vote for her and now she's leading? Love to see it.

This one is tough... there's Matthew and Leila but are they the best if one of them failed their detective mission? Lucia and Bastian are good picks but they aren't really favourites of mine. I like them just fine but... I dunno, I'll have to think on this.

My opinions on the other popular choices for this round: Berkut: yea he's trash for how he treated Rinea. I like him as a villain but he's definitely not redeemable. Arvis: now I love Arvis but can I forgive his actions? I don't think so. That betrayal is terrible. Edelgard: she can be considered antagonistic but she's no villain. Lyon: close runner up to my pick tbh, he's a good kid with good intentions who strayed too far down a dark path.
