    Sorry for the delay everyone! There was a huge Super Smash Bros. tournament called Apex 2014 this weekend, and livestreaming it ate up most of my weekend. It was super hype and fun though, and I highly recommend watching it if you have any interest in Super Smash Bros. I'm just sad my favourite player got 2nd in almost every singles event he entered, but c'est la vie. Anyways, here's a short one, Chapter 17x, where we meet pirates, kill scrub Paladin, and finally recruit our first magic-user, the classy and monocle-y Canas MONOCLE THWOMP. On the next chapter of FE:THWOMP, we are attacked on our merchant pirate ship by BLACK FANG PIRATES who for some reason have no actual pirates among them. Who the hell is running the ship? See you all then!

    Goddamn that Hector's speed. He would've been perfect for my run (in which my Lv20 unpromoted Hector sits at 14). But c'est la vie :( Congrats man, and good job with the LP. Kinda sad about the arena grinding considering this is ENM, but it was fun! Hope to read another one of yours in the future.

    I dunno, haven't gotten that far so I haven't really been thinking about it. I'm a huge SSBM fan so I've been watching Apex 2014 all day whilst trying to do Cell Bio work, haven't played FE7 in a couple of days (though I have up to Ch24 screenshotted, have to start categorizing/adding comments/deleting redundant or uninteresting screens), But yeah, it's looking like Harken's gonna be a free Brave Sword, though I might use him in Chapters with high deployment slots since he's amazing even at base.

    On the last episode of FE7 THWOMP, we saved the Squishy Lord and her compatriots, and recruited SEX THWOMP for our noble quest. And now we try to save Lord Hausen and recruit another thwomp for our cause... Hope you guys enjoyed! On the next chapter, we be fighting pirates and recruit the one and only: MONOCLE THWOMP

    Thanks man, yeah my units are pretty competent, which definitely helps since this is HHM. That and I'm not that good at this game (which you've no doubt gleaned from the playthrough so far). But yeah, thanks for the words of encouragement man! @ Ninian: Sorry to disappoint you, but Dart just couldn't cut it. Came too late and doesn't have supports with any of the other units I'm using, and has too much competition with Bartre, who has higher stats and fulfils pretty much the same role. But I'll see if I can fit him in somehow in a future FE7 playthrough :P

    Flothwomp is an oxymoron imo :( And yeah, I reminds me of Ward in ZM's Bows-Only FE6 playthrough, except Bartre at least has a 40% Spd growth. Anyways, I'll get 17 up relatively soon, been busy all of today but I'll start now :P

    Alright, here you go as promised, Chapter 16. After defending the Laus castle for seemingly no reason, we decide to head to Caelin to help Lyn save Marquess Hausen recruit Sex Panther, whom for the purposes of this run, will be known as: SEX THWOMP Let's pray he lives up to his title. On the next episode of FE:THWOMP, we invade the castle, save incompetent Caelin soldiers, recruit Raven onii-chan for our personal thwomp collection. And MAYBE we'll actually gain thwomp levels...please...?

    @ Elieson: Dorcas is the thwompiest in comparison to his averages, but a slightly thwompy Dorcas is still pretty garbage :( @ Gcubedude and Eclipse: Well, in a normal playthrough I would be happy, but it's the opposite of the tink tink tink I want for this playthrough. Anyways, finishing up Chapter 22 now, I'll be posting Chapter 16 later today (SEX PANTHER THWOMP YEA)

    Thanks for the positive responses you guys, <3 all you! @ ZM and BBM: *foreboding tone* We'll see... @ Gcubedude: I honestly completely forgot about doing supports until you posted, I had my support triangles are sorted out and everything yet completely forgot about them till now. You'll have to wait until Ch20 to see em :S Anyways, here's Chapter 15, which is pretty short. Nothing too interesting happened, so I figured I'd rather just cut it short rather than try to comment on boring shit. On the last episode of FE:THWOMP, Erik's lance stood no chance against the power of THWOMP, and for some reason we decide to sleep in his castle despite urgently needing to find and catch The All-Knowing Power-Hungry Thwomp of Laus, Darin. And our night in Castle Laus has some serious consequences... And for all you lovely readers out there, here's a brief unit analysis!

    Damn this is late, but I said I would get it out tonight so here it is! Last chapter, we found a tent that we can hold our stuff in, which is pretty sweet. And we started gaining good levels on everyone not named Hector, which is always appreciated. On this episode of FE7 THWOMP: I never really paid attention to the dialogue too much, but holy crap does this script give me lots of opportunities for these kind of jokes. And holy crap, Chapter 19 has shitloads of text before the chapter :( Anyways, enjoy and good night!

    Holy crap dude, you pump these out so fast. Having started my own thread and experiencing this process firsthand, you're definitely way faster at these than me. And yeah, Luck is for pussies, but just fyi you posted Canas' same level up 3 times, I'm assuming there was supposed to be 3 different ones? I'm not sure :\ But your Rath's Speed man, what is up with that...

    Here we go, Chapter 13x! This was kind of a shit show due to unit limitations (read: lack of Marcus), but I hope you guys enjoy! Having played up to Chapter 18 though, I regret picking HHM. While I do enjoy the difficulty at times, the limit on unit numbers really restricts how many units I can use, so some of the more lacklustre thwomps like Dorcas are kind of being shafted due to lack of deployment slots. So last time we killed BOOOOOL and recruited some non-thwomp dude for his Killing Edge, which is probably the only way Eliwood is getting kills given his level ups so far. Next time on FE:THWOMP, we fight the "Laus regulars" and their chump leader, Erik, in an epic showdown! (not really)

    Alright, I've completed up to Chapter 16 in my THWOMP run, so I guess the poll is closed. According to the results: - My team will consist of Hector, Oswin, Bartre, Dorcas, Lowen, Wallace, Sain, Raven, Heath, and 1-2 of Eliwood, Kent, and Dart - I will use Canas as my sole healer once he's promoted, with probably some intermittent Priscilla use till then - Stealing/lockpicking is allowed - No Athos (T___T) Expect several uploads tonight, once I'm done trying (and failing) to think of witty comments for my screenshots. I'll probably be putting up another poll later to decide who my last team member should be out of Eliwood, Kent, and Dart! I'll be doing Ch13x and Ch14 once I'm done class, so expect those up by around 11-11:30 tonight :D

    Assuming that you're talking about my original list, that would be fine (Harken doesn't show up for a long-ass time anyways, so you'll be getting your wish for the most part anyways). For my improved list based on Poly's suggestions however, it would mean excluding Wallace, which just seems wrong in a THWOMP run...

    Thanks for that Tables, if I decide to do an FE8 THWOMP only run (which I'm already considering given how this one is going) I'll definitely be using this! Seth is a bit boring to use, but I'll decide what to do with him later (meatshielding until a certain point, or maybe just replacing him entirely). Almost done Chapter 12, I have until Chapter 16 (Sain's recruitment) before I have to close the poll and decide, so hurry up and vote for the THWOMP team you want to see!

Wallace and Geitz are also BOTH in the top 10, and Geitz is going to be impossible for me to get anyways so I'd prefer using someone like Eliwood to maintain continuity with my first post (THWOMPbrosplz). Let me know if you prefer my old list of this one ASAP, so I can get these chapters done!

    @ poly and Horace You guys are probably right. I'll run the calcs now, I just used those since I liked the spread of characters (no fliers/Sain, all mid-low tiers).     Hey all, longtime lurker and VERY occasional poster here, doing an FE7 THWOMP run in HHM for your enjoyment. I calculated the THWOMPness of all the FE7 characters based on the simple formula of HP + Def + Res - Spd. I wasn't sure how to include base stats without skewing in favour of prepromotes, but here's the top 10 THWOMP units based on the calculation (and who I will likely be using): (145) Oswin (130) Hector, Lowen (120) Wallace (115) Ninils (105) Eliwood, Canas (100) Dorcas, Bartre (95) Harken Extremely good earlygame, but no healer until promoted Canas. For your perusal, here's the rest of the list: (90) Kent, Marcus, Fiora, Jaffar (85) Lucius, Heath, Geitz, Farina, Renault (80) Sain, Wil, Serra, Raven, Hawkeye (75) Erk, Merlinus, Pent (70) Priscilla, Isadora, Louise (65) Rath (60) Lyn, Nino, Vaida (55) Florina (50) Matthew, Legault (45) Rebecca, Guy, Dart, Karel, Karla I feel like it's a good list, all things considering. I'll be doing a screenshot LP, so hopefully this will be fun for both you guys and me. As an aside, an FE8 THWOMP would probably fun if you exclude Seth (who would undoubtedly make the list given his crazy growths). I was also considering an Anti-THWOMP playthrough using the bottom ten on the list, but that would mean Ch11 would require Hector use for the boss, and Ch12 would be a Matthew + Rebecca solo, which sounds like way too much hassle to me. Here's the first chapter, feedback is appreciated: Again, feedback is appreciated! As an aside, how do you guys want me to play? Should I play draft-style where I cannot use any of the other characters? Or should I be allowed thieves and clerics? I'll leave it up to you guys to let me know in your posts

    You got unlucky with your Franz unfortunately, below average STR and SPD. Your Forde isn't looking so hot either (9 STR :(). But your overall team is pretty godly, so you should be fine (Franz, Garcia, Forde, Gerik, and Saleh? I'm assuming your friends don't draft much...?) Franz and Forde are cavaliers, so are good by default, and Gerik and Saleh will round out your team nicely. Garcia is usable but should have paid off for you in the early chapters already. Regardless, as the others above have stated, Gerik, Innes and Tethys are recruited automatically at the chapter's conclusion so long as they're still alive. The easiest method is simply rushing the boss and killing him, likely with Franz at the forefront with Forde carrying Eirika, which is doable in 6-8 turns or so IIRC. If you're dead set on recruiting Marisa for whatever reason (you haven't indicated if you've drafted her, but I'm assuming not), then the fastest way to recruit Gerik/Innes/Tethys is to run Tana down to them and have her talk to Innes (normal draft rules allow you to use undrafted characters for recruitment). But Marisa is usually ignored because recruiting her usually costs you turns, and she comes extremely underlevelled (Joshua comes at the same level 5 chapters earlier).
