  1. Its kinda why Legendary Eliwood, M Corrin, M Corrin, L Marth DC A slot is the better version of such set up yeah
  2. Kinda related on this. The ultimate result of SRPG format is, at the end of the day the better your movement option, the better the units are. This is about as simple as understanding that for example in Chess anyone can see Queen is the best piece in a vacuum. Its why in most other more casual SRPG, flying isn't a unit type, its something given to pretty much everything that by the end of the game being able to fly is the norm Ultimately the best way they can change things up is to make an inherent advantage for the non mobile class(Fighter class) or making it so that you can cheat out mobility. They TRIED this with Rescue Drop and people considered them broken as fuck advantage for mounted units, but in reality the disparity between mobility class was much less bad back in Rescue Drop era since they actually have a chance to catch up. FE12 is a truly special case where the game is made so well that every movement type get to shine but not everyone like their approach Even in FEH, which currently is so called "dominated by Armors" it took an entire breed of skill, a skill that pretty much nulify Armor mobility disavdantage, specific map design, an entire panel designed to curb the movement of horse units and horse units alone, deliberately not increasing Horse stats after almost 2 years, less exclusive skill release, unvariative unit release, and massive bulk increase before the game is not thoroughly dominated by Horse, and even then Flier STILL is the real king of the game. Mobility advantage really is that good
  3. fun facts, this is actually my fourth +10 Red in my racks. Even excluidng the fact that im heavilly reliant on Legendary Eliwood enough to wonder if its possible to make him fly to qualify for GHB quests, my red unit on box is actually way overboard lol
  4. Yeah, 57 Attack is currently my "benchmark number" for Legendary Eliwood so i deliberately keep some of my units at that point. For example had i have a Grima copy to fix his -ATK bane, i'd likely gave him some jokes like ATK +1 to round it out. The regardless of position 6/6 is worth it. Obviously it'd get tweaked depending on when i used it but yeah this is the second one i had so far so im already in the club since long ago lul
  5. Kagetora isn't just good. She, like Hokusai pretty much invalidate the entire pool of STNP Lancer from existing in a sense that since they are pretty much In Class Jalter, you never need a new STNP Lancer ever again unless you want them for specific purposes, or aims for NP2 SSR. She's not as perfect as Hokusai or as ridiculous as Kintoki Rider, but she hits basically everything else right. Summer Melt have good refill, and her battery have a good chunk of potential if you have Golden Carp When compared to Fionn its hard to say. Melt definitely beats him in farming, 10% better refill, permanent Arts buff, ability to take Paracelsus Battery for her own, etc. Melt Nero Bride Paracelsus with Kscope is an ok mid level farming set up but its, frankly nothing special due to the lower ends of damage associated with it With CQ its still harder to say how sufficient she is at enabling Blitz because again, damage. Damage is what stops Parvati from being the clear cut best quick servant in the entire game and it applies too here. Its just that Fionn happen to be the one servant where saying "he's just not Parvati" is actually not a meme.
  6. just saying here, this is even more relevant for arts even "Hokusai have multiplicative buff" in the context of describing NP damage up is a bit of a misnomer. Unit with NP damage buff, actually have a downsize compared to one that doesn't thanks to Black Grail - 80%, and on arts this become 110%. To wit, both at NP5, Hokusai went from beating Lance by 20% to beating him by 10% when both equips BG and then use Tamamo, in numbers. Being Arts aka weaker cards, Lance Tama Waver does 300k to Hokusai 352k against the tankiest, most recent Lancer boss with Maxed Golden Sumo who have 350k HP at max break bar. Both will trigger Musashi bug for ease of refill at that point, and Saberlot actually was the one with Insta NP advantage if you set out a 20% battery beforehand. Basically for most situation you don't need BG, the advantage for NP damage buff likely isnt enough. Granted this was Np5 comparison, and i already said that Hokusai invalidates ALL ST Saber so i made my stance clear >_> Its one of many reason @MrSmokestack waifu isn't really that phenomenal of a DPS, although its the smallest of them all. Yagyu is weird. Basically the way i see if, if you think "oh i think i wont be able to finish this fight in 1 buff rotation", he have one of the most consistent ways to make it to the next buff rotation but simultanously he have the worst buff rotation of the 3 because all of his stuff lasts a 1 turn and he lacks battery. This is because once he DO reach NP, hes almost guaranteed to do NP 2 times with how insane his refill internal and such is and naturally speaking he's the most powerful SR Saber, in terms of damage boost potential. I have like 0 experience using Yagyu though
  7. Been running my newly built Matthew(the refine is rad) with Eliwood package with Brave Eliwood as bonus unit and its pretty darn fun. If the enemy didn't get debuffed by Legendary, i have Eliwood rally. Bonus stats Legendary Eliwood is great and effective weapon on a stats monster is amusing still kinda wish Brave Eli is as busted as Leg Eli sometimes but eh
  8. Honestly the way i see Hokusai is she basically invalidates the entire rarity into might as well not exists area but i consider this viewpoint for way more than her wellfare wise If theres a servant who basically does Jalter damage in NP(who is 58200 but scales worse as you add more ATK. For example 2000 ATK HNS Jalter do 69000 to Hokusai 80.000 and Jalter vs Class counter is already fucking insane), and have the critical consistency for the catch all advantage of doubled NP gen you have to question why ever bother with (boss killer) SSRs when you pretty much have one already. Kagetora(doesnt help SSR Lancer is kinda shaky), Hokusai(Saber somehow have the most consistent servant in history and shaky SSR line up at the same time), and The Mistake pretty much reach this spot effortlessly. Less so in Kagetora case because she doesnt have Instinct Yeah Ozy is good vs Kiara but thats far and few in between of cases. Archuria is bonkers enough to side step it. Most of the good Archer in ssr is aoe thankfully and the ST Archer have unfair advantage(Demiya is outright the strongest burst archer, Ash Blossom have permanent 50% steroid, Fujino is hilariously bulky and have GRule) Its kinda mind boggling to think that Ushiwakamaru and Bedivere is simultaneously the best R and the LEAST worth raising in a sense. Robin and Eury at least have common potential to outdo Kuro.
  9. Really the whole part about Dean and Eda is both are good and you only have 3 flier for a long time so better use them all. Stats is the easiest thing to fix in Thracia after all(kinda). Enemy isnt too strong + Scrolls.
  10. I'd argue Altenna is worse, but then again theres one guy who is clear cut the very worst Wyvern Rider in the series bar none Gerome
  11. https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Midsummer_Memories NO NO NOOO WHO THE FUCK MADE THIS AND THINK THIS IS OKAY
  12. I was kinda reffering to her offensive specs so my bad. She get +3/3 and +7/7 from base skillset which make her easy access to the current strongest offense on staff. Fwiw i also rate Gravity very highly so >_> IS "power creep like nobody business", but the thing about power creep is it doesn't actually magically make the stuff you have atm worse than their "current power level". if they released Camilla + a week after Brave Camilla all that happen is Brave Camilla and Cemilla+ break the game because they still shit on everyone else For what it worth i largely considered FEH one of the tamest game when it comes to power creep. FEH never did a power creep on the level of "lets make a unit that makes every unit 60% bulkier, then 2 month after that make said unit unviable to use" and its kinda what stick on my mind for power creep
  13. The thing about that is Staffbot is generally speaking the strongest unit type in the entire game. Theres a reason why one of the common tips for Arena Assault is "raise a Staffbot" because they really broke Arena format that badly. Camilla is THE premium standard when it comes to Staffbot power level atm and thats what makes her so good. IS really didn't need to do anything outlandish to make a busted Staff, they just have to make one of the better Staff effect and crank up their stats and they'd immediately become OP. For Melee they have to make ridiculous shit before they broke the thereshold to be good Its kinda similar to how in year 1 the game is pretty much ruled by Horse Tome Cavalier. Olwen might be a worse unit relative to her class than say.... Ryoma but Ryoma didnt attack you with 80 Attack
  14. Micaiah might be unique or some shit but Camilla is such a clear cut by far the best unit of this batch its not even funny to think about. I seriously doubt Brave Eliwood is even half as good as his borderline gamebreaking Legendary Version even if he's admitedly pretty solid. Still would pick him since i'm probbaly wrong but eh I feel like IS finally got the formula down - to make a unit broken you don't have to give them flashy skills or unique movement type or stupid shit like that. Just make them a Healer because who fucking knew an uncounterable nuclear bomb is basically broken
