  1. Happy Birthday, sorry for being late!

  2. Interesting. If it turns out that Andrea is the only one like this, it would suggest he/she was the last (or one of the last) of the character to be cut. It can also be assumed that he/she would not have been recruitable, though that's a more wild assumption. It'd be quite surprising if any cut characters had portraits, but it's unlikely that they would have anything except placeholders for portraits. I'd hazard a guess that a lot of the cut characters were cut early in development, considering that, apart from names, there isn't much else associated with them in the game's code. Of course, that's just my speculation again. There could be more to find in the ROM than what has already been discovered.
  3. Of all the discoveries made in this thread, I'm most interested in the three name strings. Leopold, Tracie, and Andrea possibly having been planned as playable characters is quite interesting, and the positioning of the names also hints at where they might have appeared. Andrea, in particular, is grouped with characters like Priam and Walhart, meaning that he could have potentially been a significant character in the plot that you could recruit before the final boss. This is just my speculation, though. It's a shame that the three characters have no portraits or other hints at what their roles in the story could have been.
  4. Hector most definitely. I've always wanted an axe user in Smash Bros.
  5. Focused Attack - Attacks do 50% more damage, but weapon usage is halved. Team Effort - For every ally standing next to the unit with this skill, the unit will get +15 Crit. Maximum of +60 Crit. That's all I have.
  6. I'll take a crack at it. Class: Mimic Description: Has the unique ability to copy the class of an ally or foe for 3-4 turns. Skill 1: Stat Copy - Copies the stats of the ally/foe along with their class. This doesn't include HP. Skill 2: Skill Copy - Copies the skills of the ally/foe along with their class. Temporary. Weapons: Swords when in Mimic class. Stats would be average on all ends, though Stat Copy would make them useless. I know the concept has already been used by Xane, but I really like the idea. This is more of an expansion of Xane's class.
  7. Not big on wapanese folks

  8. Don't get on much

  9. Really makes you think, doesn't it? As for me, I don't put much thought behind this whole marrying deal. I just look at MU's stat mods, then search for the one that will give Morgan the best min-max return, which usually means MU marries second gen characters in my runs anyway.
  10. This thread really took an odd turn from being a question of whether Chrom x Olivia is a good pairing to an argument about Sumia not being a good character. Can't say I'm surprised, but still, how did it come to this?
  11. My best unit most of the time is Morgan, to the point where she can solo R&R3 on Lunatic. Barring her, in my current run, Nah is nigh unstoppable with her insane defenses, and she's even better when paired with someone that gives her a good speed boost.
  12. Adding my two cents to this topic, I haven't done any pairing for Chrom except Chrom x Sumia. Couldn't bring myself to experiment because both of them have less support options in terms of marriage. I also find that, while Inigo can benefit from Chrom, he can also gets many benefits from fathers like Virion (provides no overlapping classes and good mods) or Avatar (who is a good father/mother for anyone, depending on asset/flaw). I find that Cynthia gets more out of having Chrom as a father than Inigo, personally. In short, nothing wrong with Chrom x Olivia, but the game really wants to shove Chrom x Sumia into your face by limiting them both in their options, so it makes perfect sense to pair them, and Inigo has better fathers than Chrom anyway.
  13. There are two things I liked about this game above all else: the characters and the DLC. I personally like every character in this game, and ended up using them all at some point. As for the DLC, I like how it was done. The first set with the old FE characters was an interesting experience (mostly due to the older FE units' interactions with your units), and all of the maps in the second set were fun to play.
  14. Now that I think about it, Excellus really wasn't that good of a character. He's the only one I didn't really care for, though. The rest of them were at least decent.
  15. You seem to be making a big deal out of nothing. It's the internet, so who cares what word someone uses? Don't go off-topic by complaining.
