A little tip: if anyone need to massively rename a lot of file, then you should consider using the tool "Bulk Rename Utility", just use search engine to find it It has option to add prefix, suffix, numbering, extension changing, replace, regular expression, auto date, etc -
If anyone's app needed 0 suffix, then I suggest them (the reader, not the scanlator) to rename it with BRU (Bulk Rename Utility) Use search engine and download it Open it Select all the '21' until '99' page (in BRU) Check 'add' Insert '0' in 'prefix' field Click 'rename'

By re translate I mean re translate all the names only

In my opinion: If you want to change the name of the characters based on your own translation, you need to at least re-translate the manga from the beginning, but if you use the previous character name from the stopped project, then you just need to translate the untranslated chapters only. But I suggest to just use the previous name and continue the translation as is, so that you don't need to re-translate the whole manga. I could do some cleaning tough, like leveling, cropping, removing bubbles, rotating, etc. with Photoshop CS3, just don't expect me to do it really quick. Maybe 10-30 black-and-white pages per week depending on the quality of the scans

I have little experience with cleaning scans with simple photoshop. Usually I google how to do it and practice it instantly. My current ability to clean a scan is only 'leveling','cropping','adjusting brightness and contrast' and 'cleaning the text from the speech bubble' I'm not really experienced. My only experience in cleaning a scan is cleaning two or three chapter of this manga

Are you talking about saving PNGs directly from Photoshop? If it is, then maybe something went wrong on your Photoshop. We can test it by saving a test PNG from your PC, and then send the PSD to me (or your friend) and I (or your friend) will try to save it to PNG with identical setting. Then, we (or you) compare the PNG output If the test PNG you generated is 3 times than my (or your friend's) PNG, Then something really went wrong with your Photoshop. -

I don't want to sound pushy but, When will the next chapter come out? It's already more than 1 month since chapter 50... Edit: Is this project dead? If it is, too bad then, it's just 2 volumes (17%) to go. You have done well translating 10 volumes (83%) I'm looking forward to see the title of this thread become: [COMPLETED] FE1 manga translation thread. -
No, it doesn't offend me. Anyway, it just strange to see them stop after almost half completed.
