  1. Guys, you had to wait almost 2 years between Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, home console releases (the Switch is that with a portable option) take more time to cook than portable ones and IS hasn't worked on one in a damn long time (the only Nintendo-exclusive developer in a worse position in this regard is Gamefreak because they've flat out never developed something that isn't a portable game and guess who is also on complete radio silence), this wait is not really all that surprising. The announcement will be at E3 just like Fates was and then the hype train can begin. Also I'm betting that this time they're aiming for worldwide release so that could be another reason for the lack of news.
  2. Considering most of the fanbase drools over GBA FE's animations, I can't really blame them for making them physically impossible and follow only rule of cool.
  3. At this point I wonder if Nintendo will just ride the negative press all the way to the end and apply "any publicity is good publicity" logic to the whole thing, since click-baiting sites like Kotaku and the internet in general seems determined to not let the whole Soleil thing go anyway.
  4. [spoiler=Third route spoilers?]To be fair from what I've heard the current Hoshido queen had some scheme going on concerning an invisible dragon or something (which is revealed in the third route which has incomplete dialogue as far as I know) so she kinda had Kamui with said dragon, if that's true then at least it's not only so you can marry them.
  5. [spoiler=Hoshido route]It's a CG cutscene death so I'm pretty sure Elise dies no matter what, same with Xander given that he gets suicidal afterwards, dunno if you can spare his subordinates though. [spoiler=Nohr Endgame]Takumi is the final boss (possesed by something, dunno what's up with it) so he's toast no matter what. [spoiler=Question about both routes]I saw Camilla as a boss in some streams, but she survived the battle, any way you can screw up and end up killing her? Hinoka is a boss in the Nohr path too, but Kamui spares her and her subordinates, is that scripted or it's dependant on some action you take in the chapter?
  6. Does that even work for non Kamui supports? Because I'm guessing it doesn't and if so that means we're back to pre-Awakening style support log farming in the Nohr version. Well, not as bad as that, but still limited to the units we can feasibly deploy and use to clear the game and all instead of getting almost everything in one playthrough.
  7. Welp, I guess even if censorship butchers the game heavily people will get their My Room skinship one way or another.
  8. [spoiler=Question about Chapter 24 Nohr]Can you actually kill Hinoka? Or does she survive no matter what? For that matter, is that the same for Camilla on Hoshido's route?
  9. ^Theoretically it shouldn't, the thing is that this is a Nintendo first-party title and their rep is basically being a "family-friendly developer", sure you have Bayonetta 2 funded entirely by Nintendo but it's not the same thing considering the franchise wasn't even born in-house.
  10. It's not really that hard, I just stick Frederick and Sumia together as soon as I can so they end up getting married before chapter 11 and the other women don't tend to be near Chrom anyways so the only troublesome thing is having to forget the Avatar/Chrom duet of death for a chapter and pair him up with Olivia instead (assuming Male Avatar, whenever I roll Female Avatar she ends up with Chrom so Olivia is out of the question). The problem is that Lucina starts pretty gimped stat-wise unless you babysit Olivia (grinding isn't actually necessary for this not to happen outside of Lunatic though).
  11. I've played most of the FEs out there and from what I can remember that mission is by far the worst in that regard, most of the time the suicidal units are random soldiers that you don't feel compelled to save (I know, rescuing the villagers doesn't really matter, but the game makes it look like it's important), the stuff you have to actually escort just stands there making the rescue process a lot easier. The only ones that don't stand there are murder machines that mostly steal EXP rather than get themselves killed by a pair of Pegasus Knights.
  12. Impossible in South America where Nintendo customer support doesn't exist at all.
  13. And here I thought I spent a lot more than I should've when I re-bought everything DLC included when my 3DS was stolen...
  14. Gotta showcase the new AI with no regard for preservation of their own life I suppose (Severa's little suicidal run at least has a purpose), I mean who the hell runs straight towards the enemies you're supposed to be fleeing from?
