I love Kozaki's art, but I do agree that his art seems more suited to less serious works or works that are more light/silly like No More Heroes or Half-Minute Hero.

Hidari is likely going to stick to Echoes, and I wouldn't be surprised if the next remake, if it happens, used her art. I like Kozaki, but I'm open to a lot. I feel that some people have non-fitting artstyles for the series though. The only artist I don't ever want is Kita, because the Tellius art is the worst in the series. Wada is pretty great, but I think that digging back past Kozaki is boring and that we should keep him or go for an all new fresh style.

Mayo. Mayo is the best artist from Cipher, as the Whitewings and Hinoka clearly show.

There's no bad way to show skin. Men and women alike should be encouraged to show off their bodies. I know this doesn't apply to fictional people, but it needs to be said regardless. Xenoblade X's designs definitely are not generic. Rex definitely feels like a Xenoblade character, especially in the outfit.

And what exactly is "anime hot topic?" Is that just any anime-esque style you don't like? What do you think about Xenoblade and Kid Icarus? Are those also Hot Topic level? Or are you just someone who thinks that all anime is the same?

The modern designs are pretty great, but you can't seriously think that 2012 Celica looks like a generic "waifu" and then praise the aesthetics of the modern Celica. Outside of their pose, they look the exact same. I forget the 2012's artist's name, but they're currently doing the definitely-not-generic Xenoblade 2, which means quite a bit.

Please, Kozaki's changes weren't that drastic. Are we really engaging in revisionism already? Smash Bros especially shows that Robin/Lucina/Corrin look perfectly fine next to the older character. Stop exaggerating. As a whole, I loved Kozaki's art, but this looks especially good. Definitely the best in the series in my eyes.

I'm mainly used to it now. Not as user friendly in some aspects, but now I'm already sticking with the blue theme since I'm used to it. I kinda liked circle avatars though.

Yeah, but we've already seen map gameplay of both Alm and Celica's sides, and neither side seems to have any type of Avatar. I agree that anyone can present opinions, but it seems pointless. It's like saying that you hope Kozaki doesn't illustrate for the game when it's already confirmed that Kozaki isn't the illustrator.

Wend Wendy The name Wendy comes from Gwendolyn in the first place, and it's also an Arthurian reference. Fitting considering that Elibe is obsessed with King Arthur.

Also, woah, all the people complaining and moaning that Gaiden's remake would shove in Avatars sure have a lot of self-retrospection to do. Not even Heroes has Avatars. Those people overreacted at the very least.

Everything looks great. Already went to the site and found out: there's official English names for every single character in the entire series, even for Gaiden/Thracia. That's extremely great, though accurate fantranslators will probably not enjoy changing all of their names again. Definitely want to buy Echoes.
