  1. Okay, I have edited the Mug to only have fifteen colors, and I think i'll also put the growths for Rusty and stuff here too. The mug only has fifteen colors because I didn't need a sixteenth. As for Rusty: Name: Rusty (You should get that by now) Age: about 15 Gender: Male Class, items and mug you already have Personality: Very childish and quite gullible, also is very cheery and likes to joke around. Sometimes gets a little unfittingly morbid. (Like Henry, just less often) Background: If he is replacing Artur, then he could have been in the area of the monsters to study the undead and their habits, for his magic training. Stats: I don't really know much about how to put down stats, but I do know I want him to have a good speed and magic growth, with lower defense/resistance to make up for it. Also, here's the improved, finalized mug for Trollface, and I will have the blinking/talking frames soon!
  2. Perhaps a lengendary weapon and/or promotion that might give her better attack might be a good idea. Or she could have such high skill/speed that she could essentially be like a Myrmidon. Either way, I'm sure you could find a way to make her a more useful unit.
  3. Erk, Roy and Raven! You nailed it! Alright, I've finished for tonight, but I'll be on tomorrow with the blinking/talking animations. This is the final design for him. Wow, that almost took all week!
  4. Here's what I have so far; I'm texting with Trollface, and he's not told me what color he wants the robe to be yet, and I also have to fix that awkwardness with the neck, but here's what I got:
  5. I've decided to rework the sprite entirely, as well as look at a tutorial, because I did Rusty's just by horrible editing skills. I am now much more comfortable with MS paint, so this one should look a bit better, at least.
  6. I only used my sprite to see if I had gotten it right. I'll work on the other one ASAP.
  7. Alright, I decided to try to model a blinking/talking frames image based on the pictures Terminator put of the Lords' talking/blinking animation, so anyone tell me if I got anything wrong. I used my little Shaman guy, and fixed up a few things about his normal mug that were bothering me. For instance, I turned the Blue undershirt gray. It might not be the best, but I at least can say that I tried. Also, I made the background lavender. Just because.
  8. It looks really interesting, as well as creative. I'm sure it will turn out great! Also, thief Lord. Incredible idea.
  9. The video with the blinking animations was removed. I need to get a professional to do this for me or something. Or maybe just give up hope entirely.
  10. Oh? I don't know anything about spriting, so I'm kind of lost. I made that sprite in Paint. Also it turns out the video I found was removed. Just my luck.
  11. Actually, I almost immediately found something like that. Huh.
  12. I have the idea for Trollface's mug, and got his confirmation that he likes it. Still no clue on how to have blinking/talking frames in the picture. Is it just trial and error, or is there a guide on how to do it on YouTube or something? Also, now It's Shin and Saul. Shaul.
  13. Aww, but normal looking mugs are nowhere near as fun! Anyway, I am working on a better mug for Trollface. I think I'll just do a combination of FE6 characters. An I will google how to put blinking/talking frames. Also, I forgot to mention that i really like the Lords' mugs. Good job!
  14. Hey, I have the mug, but recoloring dark blue/black it is harder than my other one for whatever reason, so I don't know what to about that. ):
  15. Sure, that would be fine. When I put Lute, I was thinking Artur, but I could not think of his name, so I just put Lute, because I remembered her name.
  16. Okay, and I want to go ahead with Shaman. I am almost incapable of going with one decision, but I think i'll just stick with Shaman and be done with it. Sorry about my lack of decisiveness.
  17. I changed my mind... Again. And I'm bad at remembering class names. I'm incredibly fickle.
  18. Do you already have a plan for Erika and Ephraim? I'm kind of curious what they will be like.
  19. Grazie! Personally, I'd prefer the Shaman class, so you might not have to change much.
  20. Exactly what I was thinking of when I had the idea. I used to mess around with some tools to edit Pokemon Emerald, so maybe I could use that? You know what, I'll try that!
  21. Ooh, also if possible, I'd like to have my character's description to have something to do with clumsiness and/or gullibility. I've decided those are my two most prominent qualities, other than speaking very properly, and refraining from slang in general. As for the character I'd replace, how about Lute or Ewan? Storywise, if I am a shaman, I could have gone to the same "Magic school" as the antagonist. Just some thoughts.
  22. Hey, I hope it's not to late to request a character! I would like to be in it, too. Name: Rusty Class: Shaman or Thief Items:(Shaman) Nosferatu, Luna, Vulnerary (Thief)Steel Sword, Killing Edge, Vulnerary Mug: I made a mug a few minutes ago, out of Lugh and Wolt. I hope it turned out well, as this is my first time attempting something like this. As such, I will be incapable of providing a good Blinking and Talking animation. Sorry!
  23. I am not good at much, least of all computers, but I thought "I have this idea for a game, so why not post it to Serenes Forest?" This whole idea came from my thought of "What if Fire Emblem was a more traditional RPG, or had a battle system like Pokemon?" This might be considered to not be something that belongs on a Fire Emblem website, but it pretty much fits in with the whole theme of Fire Emblem, plus I have no idea where else to put it, so here's my idea for it Fire Emblem/Pokemon game... thing. It would go somewhat like this: You are a prince/Princess of a kingdom on a continent I have yet to name. You receive a letter from one of your most trusted advisers about an issue in the northern part of the kingdom. That is all the story I have at this point, I mostly have the gameplay aspects worked out: Battles will be in a traditional Pokemon style, but without Pokemon, and (unsurprisingly) with soldiers instead. You traverse the overworld like in Pokemon, and there would be characters to recruit, as opposed to "catch" like in Pokemon. These characters could come through the story, or there might be enemies that might spot you, Pokemon style, and give you and option box with Talk or Fight in it. Another way is there might just be characters standing around that you can talk to and recruit. Now, Instead of Pokemon centers, you can heal your soldiers at places named Bases (like a military base) that will have a generic Cleric model as the healer instead of Nurse Joy, and the Army's General (Basically Jagen) acting as a PC. The PC boxes would be called "Barracks" (However you make that plural). And now, onto the Menu! It would open up and give you six Options: Inventory (Like the Bag in Pokemon), Party (Soldiers you have with you), Equip (How you add "Moves/ Weapons" to your party)*, Roster (Pokedex for soldiers), Save, and Options. *Now about those "Moves". You will be able to buy weapons, and you can equip them to individual soldiers, and as always they will eventually break. This will be under "Attack" command in the battle menu. You can also buy Healing Staves, as well as Items such as Potions or other healing things. Those, you can equip up to 20 of, and using one in battle will use one up (obviously). These things will be under a command in the battle menu probably called "Heal" or something. There will be all the traditional Fire Emblem weapon types, of course. (Sword, Axe, Lance, Etc.) Each weapon type will have a single animation that will be used for all of their type (With the Exception of Tomes, Staves and Special weapons like the Levin Sword). Mostly to cut down on all the animations, because I'm hoping there could be one for every character. The other two parts will simply be "Party" and "Retreat". Now, on to the more story related stuff. The story would progress by defeating Fortresses and Generals like Gyms and Gym Leaders. You will have a rival like May/Brendan, who is the Prince/Princess of an allied nation. The "Rival" will have a team of two people + themselves which will join you after the 5th Fortress is taken down. And I think that is all I have thought of on that. If I think of anything else, I might put it down here, but this is probably waaaaay too big of a project for someone who barely knows how to use a computer. Also, considering my limited knowledge of computers, I have probably ruined this entire thing, or something. Yeah...
