Alright, thanks! I'll just need Support A with characters with the classes I actually want skills from. Do you have any advice regarding which skills such a build would need?

I've thoroughly enjoyed Awakening, but never got into Fates. I've got the Birthright edition. The castle part was a bit too overwhelming. I want to give it another go. I'd like my Avatar to be a Fighter/Mage with good offense and good staying power. Boon Speed & Bane Luck seems to be the way to go and I think Dark Mage would be a good pick for Talent, since Dark Knight has stat growths in all stats and has both melee (you get a good sword, IIRC) and magic and it has good movement. All the Hoshido classes can be accessed via Heart Seals, correct? So no need to pick one of those as talent? Am I overlooking something? Which skills should I aim for? The Life Force from Dark Knight was good, IIRC, and perhaps Astra from Sword Master? (The five hits?) Anything else? Thanks in advance!

No, I think that the first two times, I used a Master Seal, but was convinced it was a Second Seal.

Where those Master Seals then? Do I remember it that badly? Where they available that early?! *confused*

I bought it, around Chapter 5, from one of the random merchants for 2500 gold and Chrom turned into a Great Lord because of it and MU in a Grandmaster. It does not work on other units, which is the way it should be, apparently.

Yes, both are above lvl 10 and became Great Lord and Grandmaster via Second Seals.

Why can I use a Second Seal to promote Chrom & MU to their advanced classes, but not the other units?

Hu? I unlocked a bunch of maps via the Spotpass, and I'm in Chapter VII.

I'm in Chapter VII, but I thought that that map was higher level free DLC.

I'm trying to figure out how to get the pay-DLC. I got the free ones, after some searching, but nowhere in the Nintendo e-shop did I encounter the option to get the DLC. I did find the full game, though. Can anyone point me out how to get it, step by step, since I'm that thick apparently? :-p I'm from Europe, if it matters. Thanks in advance!
