  1. Another minor character I really like that I want to highlight is Isadora. She's criminally overlooked among the other Blazing Blade characters. She's a really fantastic character with a multitude of surprisingly varied supports, they range across several different topics that are all personal to her and really define her character. She's one of the most developed characters, but it's understated and hidden because she's a minor character and by the time you get her, you'll probably already have Kent, Sain, or Lowen trained up. I also really like Castor. Almost all of his backstory is in material outside of the games, but actually knowing what his backstory is really made me appreciate the character a whole lot. Tragedy surrounds this man and it really makes you understand why he's doing what he's doing, and why his portraits always look so melancholy. He's a guy I root for to get what he needs for his family, darn it! Dorothy is another character I've really come to appreciate, for many of the same reasons as Brom and many of the reasons you listed. She's so ordinary, but it works, she has genuinely good supports and is unique in how un-unique she is.
  2. 712. Castor: Loving Son 713. Caeldori: Perfect Angel 714. Yuliya: Princess of Grust 715. Rhea: Loving Matriarch 716. Caeda: Marth's Faithful 717. Merric: Wind Pontifex 718. Peony: Cherished Dream 719. Edelgard: The Future 720. Claude: Golden Breeze 721. Camilla: Alluring Darkness 722. Mycen: Zofia's Champion 723. Ike: Of Radiance 724. Hana: Focused Samurai
  3. I'm thinking we'll get Lloyd this year to go along with Linus from last year, and Male Byleth to go with Female Byleth. The other characters I expect to be women, probably one of the remaining maidens from (New) Mystery (Nyna, Lena, or Elice), maybe Eyvel, and maybe Veyle or something.
  4. The New Heroes in May is undoubtedly this year's batch of Fallen characters. I'm more curious about April's NH banner, to be honest. I firmly believe that the NH banners for April, June, and July will be Tellius, Fates, and Three Houses/Hopes, I'm just not sure what order they'll be in.
  5. I see what you've done here, hahaha. Resident Brom guy here. Brom is my personal favorite character in the Tellius games, even over Elincia and Ike. He's just a simple family man with a friendly personality and an innocence about him. Everything about the man is just kind of wholesome? His supports with Zihark are a good showcase, where Zihark even tells Brom directly how big of a heart he has, and you can see it in both his casual conversation and encouragement of Nephenee. But his Base Conversation with Ike in Path of Radiance about the sack of rocks his fmaily gave him as a good luck charm is perhaps the best example of his character, it really showcases what makes Brom Brom. Aside from just being a generally pleasant fellow, I like his physical design a lot. It's something you really don't see very often in Fire Emblem, at least not in the characters you recruit. A 38-year-old (41 in RD), overwight, normal-brown-hair-color man is not the norm for FE. He looks plain, and it matches his personality. It's understated in how unique that is to FE. Brom is more or less an actual everyman, and it just makes him stand out to me in a series full of teenagers and young adults who are all super-powered in skills with the blade, and it makes him stand out against some of the older characters in the series you recruit because they're all by and large war veterans in the army or some big loud warrior of some kind. I don't think there was another Brom-type character prior to Brom, and I'm not sure any future character like this would stand out to me in the same way, because...Brom was first.
  6. Well, at least the Black Knight got some really good art. Mine is already at +10 so he'll appreciate the stats.
  7. Feraligatr, Blastoise, Snorlax, Psyduck, Charizard, Dragonite, Arcanine, Ursaring, Decidueye, Typhlosion, Sceptile, Nidoking, Pangoro, Lucario, Krookodile, Greninja, Incineroar, Tyranitar, Lycanroc, Ninetails, Raticate, Sandslash, Poliwrath, Alakazam, Gengar, Gyarados, Mightyena, Aggron, Houndoom, Empoleon, Samurott, Zoroark, Tyrantrum, Haxorus, Beartic, Talonflame, Corviknight, Thievul, Appletun, Obstagoon, Sirfetch'd, Butterfree, Pidgeot, Slowpoke Zapdos, Lugia, Suicune, Entei, Groudon, Rayquaza, Giratina, Xerneas, Yveltal, Solgaleo, Zacian, Zamazenta
  8. True, Celica would be too honorable to ask for the dagger back to upgrade it to the Beloved Zofia blade, lol. Ladyblade works just as well!
  9. Oh, no, there's a large number of launch units without a Resplendent. Camilla, Tharja, Hawkeye, Maria, Catria, Laslow, Leo, Cherche, Lissa, Raigh...
  10. I really like the idea of Celica as an Echo for Robin. And for the sword attacks, instead of the Levin sword maybe she could use her own Beloved Zofia sword that has set damage, rather than the rotating Bronze-to-Levin damage Robin has.
  11. Time for the next Resplendent. After Hana last time, I don't really know what to expect here. Will we go back to a 5-star, or another 3/4-star? Will it be an odd choice like Azama, or a popular one like Brave Hector?
  12. Oh, man, if I'm changing a bunch of FE's history with Smash, then I think I'm going... 64 is as-is. Melee is Marth and Roy. Brawl is Marth, Lyn, and Ike. Wii U/3DS is Marth, Lyn, Ike, and Robin. Roy is back as veteran DLC and Azura is newcomer DLC. No Lucina. Ultimate is all of them back, plus Byleth as DLC just as they were before. No Chrom. And then, for Assist Trophies... Ayra takes the slot Lyn originally had as an AT. Caeda is added in Wii U/3DS The Black Knight and Tiki are added in Ultimate.
  13. I was in a spot where we got 90-some percent of it, not the 100% totality. I watched it, and in general it was the first eclipse I've watched. It was neat!
  14. Lyn added as a newcomer in Brawl (but not over Ike or Marth, she goes alongside them), and staying on the roster for each subsequent game. The Ice Climbers added to Wii U despite forced absence on the 3DS. Azura gets in over Corrin. Crash Bandicoot as DLC for Ultimate.
  15. They won't. They had better not. I'm done if they do, and I'm not kidding. Men are already scarce in this game, the absolute very last thing it needs is "OH LOOK NOW HERE'S THE MEN WHO ISN'T A MAN ANYMORE MORE BOOOOOOOOOBS!!!!!!" No, nope.
