I think Archanea has other options. Marth, Nyna, Minerva, and Linde, mainly. But, I feel like they'll use all three pegasus sisters before any of them, except for maybe Marth.

Donkey Kong Country has always been more mediocre than good. Tropical Freeze is the best the DKC series has ever been and it still doesn't beat the majority of Mario games, or games from other platformers like Crash, Spyro, Banjo, etc.

You know I really wouldn't be surprised if the Pegasus sisters and Minerva are next in line for an alt on an Archanea New Heroes banner. Especially Catria.

I don't think the game liked me talking about Yuliya... Use my free summon, summoning circle has no Blue or Green orbs. Okay, summon from Colorless, maybe I'll get Arlen. NOPE. 5☆ Yuliya. Okay...let's try again with the free ticket! Hmm, no Blue or Green again. Reluctantly, I go with Colorless again...aaaaaand get a second 5☆ Yuliya. I'm sorry, Heroes. Truly.

I'm not too bothered about Castor's bow, to be honest. I'll still get the fodder I need/want and build him. And, interestingly enough, he's a Red unit, not a Colorless one. I guess they figured between Jeorge, Gordin, and Norne, they had the Colorless areas covered for bow units. Another option they could have used here in place of Yulia is Marisha. She's at least connected to Caeda and Marth through her supports with Caeda about Marth's relationship status. It's a loose connection, but a connection nonetheless. And Marisha isn't needed for a 7th Platoon banner, they have several options for that already: Cecil as the new lady on the block, an alt of Katarina, an alt of Male Kris, and/or an alt of Female Kris, plus an OC if they deem it so. A 7th Platoon banner only needs to carry Ryan and Arran, any two of Cecil/Katarina/a Kris/an OC can do that easily without Marisha.

Jubelo and Lorenz feel like glaring omissions now. They could have easily saved Yulia for another banner with those two, then use Katarina or Minerva or something and/or an OC to carry it. I guess then the question would be who else would they have put on this banner. Etzel or Samuel, maybe, for a Red unit? Of course, that'd leave Caeda as the one and only woman on the banner.

Whichever one it was. I don't remember since it's also now on the SNES Classic and the Switch's SNES library, among other things, much more readily available now than what it was.

Another oddity to consider: Yulia is the oddball here. Caeda and Merric are connected to Marth, Arlen is connected to Merric, and Castor is connected to Caeda. And then...there's Yulia. For months everyone thought that Yulia would be the character the banner was centered around because of that whole "Yulia had the most increase of votes!" thing Heroes officially and specifically pointed out, but she is absolutely not the center of attention here.

Honestly, I'm just thrilled Castor got into the game. That's the one Archanea character I really wanted that I was pretty sure wasn't ever going to get in, but now here he is. I have so many Grails I haven't used, he's going to be a pretty immediate merge project for me.

This month's New Heroes banner is gracing us with Attuned Caeda and Ascended Merric, as well as Yulia and Arlen. Castor is the GHB unit. Strangely, Jubelo and Lorenz are not present.

This week's Arena Ticket gave me another Brave unit, this time Brave Lucina. Just one more merge and she'll be at the +10 maximum.

I never got to play Earthbound until the Virtual Console days of the Wii and Wii U, I never got to play it on the SNES. And obviously I never played the original on the NES since it was Japan-only and I'm not Japanese, nor have I ever been to Japan. But, when I did finally get to play Earthbound SNES through the VC, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The world was delightful, the characters charming, and the sense of humor was so quirky. It's easy to see why it gathered the following it did, and that following is deserved. It's a really good game.
