I'm sure this question has already been answered plenty of times but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. How exactly do activation skills work? For example, if I have Dragon Fang and Sol, does it give me the chance to activate the other if the first fails to activate? Would it be worth my skill slot to have them both equipped at once? EDIT: nvm, figured it out. If the first skill fails to activate, it rolls for the second one. That's how it worked in Awakening, at least, and I doubt that would have been changed.

My favorite was Blue, which is pretty ironic considering Gen 1 is by far my least favorite gen. Silver and Cheren are close seconds. Blue was actually talented, and he made you really want to beat him. The fact that he was champion was really cool too. Silver had character development, and Cheren was just generally a cool guy. I also like what they did with Cheren in B2/W2.

Alright, here's my take on this entire thread. If he wants to make a practical or gimmicky set with this weird Pika clone, then so be it. I encourage people to try out new Pokes instead of having a boring (yet very practical) team with an Aegislash and a bunch of pseudo-legends. The argument arises when people try to pass off these gimmicky Pokemon as legitimately practical, when there are many other options that would do that exact job much more efficiently (such as Jolteon). As someone who used a Serperior and Eelectross on my last playthrough, definitely go for it. The fact that you get it right before Elesa's gym makes it really easy to train too. Also it's much cooler IMO.

Genius. I think I'll name mine Jiraiya. EDIT: I am now inspired to nickname my entire main team after Personas. Will update with results.
