    How often does your system overheat?

    My docked switch tends to shutdown after about an hour of playing Three Houses due to overheating. Does this happen for anyone else? How long do you guys usually play for and does it happen when docked or undocked? My switch doesn't have this problem too much with games like Sonic Mania. I guess a game like that is less demanding.

    I legitimately didn't plan on playing Baten Kaitos at first but I'm glad I did because the gameplay and music is great.

Specifically, it seems to be set in a Japanese high school. A very stereotypical Japanese high school. In fact, I would not be surprised if there was some form of "club activities." And possibly even (shudder) a "school festival."

    The thing is, this seems to me to be such a missed opportunity, just because of how fascinating a REALISTIC medieval school could be. Education in the middle ages was radically different from modern education. Indeed, it sprung out of a hybrid of monastic life and the mercantile guild system. "Scholastic guilds" had more in common with kung-fu monks than what we think of as schools. Even just browsing wikipedia reveals a ton of interesting facts, like that professors were granted actual papal bulls from Rome certifying their "right" to teach other people (from which we derive diplomas). Students were not obligated to attend classes, but rather would organize themselves based on which teacher they would become a disciple (lit. student) of. A "university" was not a physical place, but a collection of students following a single teacher or ideology or field.

    I think a lot could be done with these ideas, but I feel like they really won't be used.

    But who knows. Maybe what we get will be better than my ideas. I hope so. But I just think there are cool ways of doing things that are just not being used. What do you guys think?

    I think you are correct in your assertion. Intelligent Systems said that Fates' plot would be better than Awakening's plot and we know what that ended up like. It was debatably worse than Awakening's plot. Those who are worried about the plot have every right to be worried despite the entire thing obviously not being shown. Intelligent Systems can not be trusted to deliver a plot with detail (attention to detail.) like the examples you gave up above. At best all we can hope for is a passable plot. I've already seen some characters wearing modern-like clothes (Why is the female avatar wearing fucking short shorts/denim shorts?!?). If they can't be bothered to put care into the type of clothes they give the characters I doubt they care much about being historically accurate with middle ages education.

    I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've been using this guide. I put a Rapier with 11 uses (000C000B in hex) into the convoy and found several matching hexs but decided on editing the first set. I change the 00000000 after it to 00850000 (I want more bullion) and always come up with a save file corruption error and the previous save is loaded instead. Can anyone help?

    Weapon values are 8 bytes long in the resource. I tested putting just the 8 bytes value and its working fine, so the 4 bytes after 02 01 doesn't matter. Correct me if Im wrong though as I havent tested much.

    If weapon values are 8 bytes long that explains why I kept getting Sol instead of Luna or Astra when changing around the four bytes after 02 01 in Sol's code.

    As for gold and silver, I usually just edit in lots of exotic spice. They sell for 3 gold a pop.

    You can find my tool here, its released from my private onedrive. Stuff is not finished. Replacing single items will not work, don't use that for now. All it does is analyze your convoy, and allow you to replace all items of some kind with another. By no means complete, but works wonders for myself.

    Do not decrypt your chapter, just load it in raw. It incorperates the FEST code that's required, and saves back into a proper format. I will not take responsibility for mucking up your savegame. Create backups yourself. I will release new versions when I can and probably in its own thread.

    I FINALLY FOUND ASTRA FROM THE LARGE POTS IN THE INNER CHAMBER! I believe this is the hex for Astra: 02 01 0C 00 00 00 AF AA FA 44 0F F0 EF 2D.
