    See, I see 3DS having the current characters, and then the Wii U one having the DLC characters included on it. When the Wii U one comes out the DLC will be available to download for the 3DS. It would be similar to the Super Luigi U thing.

    The way he talks about the DLC in the leak makes it sound like it wasn't planned at first, but it's now being discussed seriously. I can only speculate because of time contraints he couldn't add everything he wanted, so he's making some DLC packs.

    six out of six of his first leak have been playable. Palutena is playable from his second leak, along with Greninja and there are rhtyhm heaven enemies in Smash run, which point to Chorus Kids being playable. This guy isn't guessing, he knows. His third leak pretty much said DLC is happening, and Lucas is probably cut. You can choose to believe it or not, but it doesn't make it any less true

    Gameatsu leak + Brawl Cast - Ivys / Squirt / Lucas / Snake = 47 characters + Random = 48 Slots Sounds about right to me. Now the real question is, how much dlc? 4 would add enough to keep the rows even, so I figure we will at least get four.     She's on the ideal roster poll for being a fan favorite, not LIKELY, or important. Secondly, she's not on the DLC poll because she wont ever be in Smash bros. And finally, even if she wasn't a fan favorite, I make the polls, and I like her,(That's the beauty of being the poll creator) so I would add her anyways. I try to add most choices, but I can't add everyone's.

    Thanks for taking the poll. I won't be adding every character everyone asks for as you could imagine that would make the poll more messy than it already is. Vote for Ivysaur, or perhaps Sceptile? If Melia is an important character to whatever iteration of (Im assuming FE) she stars in, then let me know and Ill add her. Otherwise, she would have to be an OVERALL fan favorite, or at least have recency on her side a la Tharja to be incorporated.

    Kid Icarus and Punch Out are not retro, and unlike any retro series in Smash so far, KI (thanks to Uprising) has a decent array of usable characters.

    What kind of levels would you want from smaller franchises that won't get a playable character? Like, Hanenbow, or Endless Ocean?

    Only in the sense that they're from those games. Sales =/= # of slots This is not Nintendo congress. Characters get in on their own merits.
