I have another question. I've been arena abusing, and I've seen some units fall behind. So is it worth using Raffin, Bartz, or Narron? They look inferior to other units, but I may be having bad luck with the RNG. Also, I promoted Narron at level 11 to get a skill, so assuming he's worth it, should I use my only superproof on him?

Thank you. I have another question. If I have a character hold 4 shields, would I get 4 times the defense boost for the standard number of hits, or would it be the standard bonus for 4 times as many hits?

I have 2 another questions. I plan on arena abusing (I'm at chapter 7), but I'm wondering something. Runan and Raffin can go to level 30, but can still promote. Should I stop at level 20 or go for 30? (time is not a problem) I know Sasha learns a skill at level 10 as a Princess, so should I wait until level 20 to go to Pegasus Knight, or at level 10? And another question: I noticed that Mariah learns a skill as a level 12 (I think 12) Mage and a different skill as a level 12 Sage. If I promote her at level 12 will I get both? If I can only get one which is better?

If somebody has already given good reason for a score +/- half a point from yours, you can decide not to explain your score, but I always encourage personal reasoning. Incredibly low scores or high scores without proper justification will not be counted. Don't put in some random text thinking it'd count as justification. I'm going to start Tear Ring Saga soon. I'm going to pick characters based off info on the main site, but I have three things to ask. 1. By waiting until level 20 to promote, will characters have the most amount of levels? 2. Are there places to grind like in FE2? 3. What should I definately not do? Like use certain units, make certain choices etc. I know there's a similar topic, but I'm only looking for answers to these questions and nothing else, as I'm trying to avoid spoilers.

I would suggest one of these solutions: 1. Pair Claude with Tiltyu, let Sylvia go unpaired (Valkyrie staff isn't a huge loss if you play carefully, Laylea and Sharlow are not bad) 2. Pair Claude with Sylvia, let Tiltyu go unpaired (Far inferior, as having Arthur and Tinny is much more important than the Valkyrie staff) Alternatively, you could try a gimmick pairing, like letting Claude go to Sylvia, then pair Lex with Tiltyu.

I posted this in my pairing guide, but I'll ask again here: What happens in FE4 if two men fall in love with the same woman at the same time? I would imagine if one hits 502 and the other hits 501, the 502 would become the pairing, but what if they both hit 500 at the exact same time? I'm wondering if there is an order of priorities for the various female characters.

I always play by waiting until turn 50, so this isn't a problem, but every time I consider playing faster, I get scared off by this. Speaking of which, Tiltyu and Brigid have identical bases and growths with Fin, so if neither end next to Fin, they will become lovers at the same time, so who actually becomes the lover?

I don't know how to test for it. But like Mr. Sparkles said, it is possible. You just need to glue the two of them together, and be very careful not to waste too many turns with them apart. I've paired them together many times, not once using the jelousy system. It just takes patience.

Then consider it an average, weighing more important stats for the unit higher. Like I said, I am willing to listen to arguments regarding the scores, but I will not alter the format.

At some point I was told that Holyn!Faval is inferior. I can change Lex's score to 1 less than Holyn's. Will that be fair? Just by the way, I don't see how by me standing by my argument, where that argument is against popular opinion, that that alone makes the guide unuseable.

I'll try this one last time. I will not alter the formatting of the guide. I will not change Holyn!Faval's rating. What I am willing to do is change Lex!Faval's rating if someone can give me a valid non-Elite reasoning.

I understand that I asked for input, but we've reached a point where nobody can be swayed. I firmly stand by my reasoning, and while I see your point, I can't sway you any more than you can me. I don't think that by this argument, the rest of the guide is considered not worth using.
