Well since the tactician was introduced in FE7, It couldn't have existed in FE6 simply because they hadn't came up with the idea yet. I think they left it open ended like that so people can wonder and come up with their on theories.

If I use them at all I usually give them to a low movement class like a general. In FE8 giving them to lords is kind of pointless as Eirika and Ephraim get promoted to horse classes.

Wow. Nihil is my old account I was really shocked when I saw this was still up! Yeah, I think the GBA era is the best, maybe only because FE8 was the first I owned. I also think out of all the GBA games FE8 is the best with features, but it is too easy. FE7 has got to be my favorite in terms of the quality and difficulty.
