I have only played Awakening (not finished yet). But I was thinking of getting the only other FE I can get, Shadow Dragon (I own no GBA, GC, or Wii). From a point if view of playing just FE: Awakening?: Is it good? Is it hard? I've grinded the crap out of my units in Awakening and I'm enjoying stomping through the game (I only play 1-2 Chapters a day, I'm at 18 currently). How relevant is it to this game, game mechanics wise and story-wise?

That's not what I meant. I meant Lucina herself has then, so she can use them alongside Robin in Pair Ups.

If she is Chrom!Cynthia (like mine is), isn't Lucina better?: - Plot - You get Lucina earlier - Access to lord and great lord classes, so Lucina can get Dual Strike+ and Rightful King.

But I'm not looking just for a partner, I'm looking for a good way to use Robin's genes as well.

Very nice post on a Tier of sorts for needing Robin's genes. But what about the other part, namely which wife makes a good pair up partner (as lead or support doesn't matter, as long as they can be used together even in the Post Game DLC) for Robin?

And how good is it? Is Taguel a good class? I know Manakete is better in most opinions because of just the Range. Is Panne good at supporting or leading?

I got a file that is at Ch12 and I have Male Robin as a lvl9 Grandmaster, Chrom as a Great Lord (lvl3), Donnel allready out of Villager, and Cordelia & Sumia on their way to get Galeforce (low level Dark Fliers) themselves. I was thinking if I wanted to optimize for Apotheosis, I should maybe restart as a Female Robin.

Looking at your Avatar, it reminded me of the Robin-exclusive Wifes. I like some of them (Tiki, Emmeryn, and Aversa) but they come in so late and are no better than any regular Generation one wife (except maybe Aversa and it's mostly for Shadowgift...still, way late).

Any son from Chrom inherits Rightful King. Any daughter from Chrom / Lucina inherits Aether. Since Morgan would be female in that case, it is Aether.
