  1. hmm... you may need to repatch because that's not supposed to happen! Found some new bugs. The palette for some of the Merfolk in chapter 2-3 are broken and there's 2 issues discovered in chapter 8 Brigands will just stand there after they steal the chests additionally, after the chest key siren dies, there are supposed to be more merfolk that charge at you. so I'm going to fixed those and add that to patch 2-3
  2. Really enjoyed the feedback. A climactic story ending was really what I was shooting for, moreso than the gameplay. Anyways, I've been working hard to fix up some issues brought up here. Luckily, they aren't big. Namely: - Llyra is supposed to give you a specific warning about the Jeli's if you deploy her. I fixed it and now she does, sorry about that. - Fixed the "You dropped something" line in chapter 2-1 - Added clarity to the ending of the patch. It now has a message telling you what chapter you'll play depending on if the gaiden requirement was filled out. Also, 2-F is actually just 2-6. Once more chapters roll in, Part 2 is projected to continue for a few more chapters. Which I suppose would make the not super 1-F level climactic like ending battle justified i guess :P and right now I'm trying to fix that Marco dying --> end of chapter thing. but once that's done, I'll update the patch.   3. oh crap... Llyra is supposed to warn you about the Jeli's if you bring her with you in that map. And yeah there's no mine glitch to exploit
  4. Llyra is supposed to give you a hint warning you about the reefs. Did that not happen for you?
  5. Hah... ha ha, iiii forgot to edit that line out. See, in the old version, you would get the Prism Shield, but since the cryptic note event was finnicky and it wouldn't work for some folks, I just had Redahli give it. The cryptic note thing is purely an Easter egg and there's no item to be gained :o
  6. thanks! could you send me yuor 2-f save file? I want to see this myself Hmm... strange, could you send me your .sav file through personal message? I've not encountered that bug on my end. I'm so happy you both enjoy the game so far :)

  8. hmm, ah that may have just been a lazy way of me implying "what the heck MAN go FASTER. thanks about the writing though! I was hoping people enjoied it. Anyways, I've fixed up everything except for the usage problem, the sadaati talk conversation and the 2-3 convo thing. And I can't seem to replicate the JR icon thing.   9. thank you for playing. I've been waiting on feedback that wasn't purely a bug report... lol Iron Fang isn't supposed to give +8 magic, so I'll look into that. I'll take a look at chapter 2-3 and see if i can fix that, do you happen to know what turn it was on? 2-4, that's weird... I can try messing with the IDs but I haven't come across that one 2-F, yes that was a blunder on my end, it was BEXP before but I changed it. About the item usage on missing, still trying to figure it out. but in the mean time I'm gonna boost the usage of the tide weapons. thanks for playing :)
  10. The weapons losing uses on misses was unintentional and definitely a bug Gonna try to fix that and get a new patch up as soon as possible
  11. seems like the AI I`m currently using for the forest spawning swarms is acting finnicky. I`ll just set them to pursue no matter what, that should fix that until i really figure out what's happening you gotta go faster :P

  16. Hey folks. I updated the patch to 2.2. It balances the bees, some characters, a couple weapons. There's also a chapter 4 patch in the DB folder that makes chapter 4 easier to manage in case the current chapter 4 is too hard. Regards, and thanks for the continued feedback!

  18. I'm futzing around with the swarms. I'm trying to rebalance them so they are still fun to have around but are still challenging. My testers all agree that with less speed and more luck, with a stronger sting. They are still a force, but they can't double everyone now. Yet still can dodge stuff.
  19. well that hunch doesn't work then. Yeah, I have absolutely no idea why it happens then. if it happens just make sure you have VBA rewind enabled and rewind to a point before the glitch happening. The trend seems to be completely f****** random and rare, so rewindiing it so it doesn't happen again is the best thing I can tell you
  20. Tequila and I are on a hunch... What version of VBA are you using? click the help tab in VBA and let me know. Same with other folks getting this glitch, too.
  21. alright. Uploaded patch 2-1B, which includes those character buffs, and improved JR edge / Tide Hunter.
  22. now I am considering it. It'd be helpful for people to reference the growths so I don't need to be bombarded with "why does this guy suck?"
  23. hahaha, yeah we're trying to figure out why Bram is going nuts. It doesn't seem like other characters are getting affected by it. Hopefully we can fix it next update. I've also heard from a few people that they're getting pretty awful level ups and its rendering some chapters too hard to continue. So I played with growths and bases a bit. Malcolm has a higher skill growth and a bit higher speed growth. Nilou starts with 5 base speed as opposed to 4, and her res growth is boosted to 45 Llyra has a slightly higher speed and skill growth now agalli got some speed help too Tide Hunter's WT is now 11 as opposed to 13 JR's edge has 7 mt as opposed to 6, and grants higher than usual weapon experience.
