  1. Because of her supports with Owain. Easily one of my favourite conversations in the entire game!
  2. But madame, justice is never over-rated! Let us raise our swords together and promote the awesomeness that is Owain! :D
  3. Swordmasters are brilliant once you get a Ragnell and combine it with Armsthrift. That said I don't use it as a final class, the stat caps are seriously flawed compared to assassin.
  4. I don't like Owain. What an awful character, jeez who came up with him? Seriously though, how can't you like a Myrmidon with an awesome sense of humour? His supports with cynthia had me crying with laughter!
  5. That is probably the funniest thing i've never seen. What was I talking about again?
  6. I did a system transfer very recently and had no problems. I haven't heard of this happening before either, you must have made a mistake or just got unlucky. Either way I suspect you'll back up your SD cards now.
  7. F-Zero, oh gods that one is easy. Blood Falcon's Theme Lightning Phantom Road F-Zero GX has some of the most awesome videogame music ever.
  8. I think Olivia is great, has such amusing supports and is a great unit for the main game. Also "I didn't want to do thiiiiiis" *stab* cracks me up every time xD Inigo is also pretty awesome and is hilarious as Chroms son. Least favourite is Noire. She's a creepy stalker who has nothing good to say and she resorts to child abuse. Lets not even get into the over sexualised character design.
  9. I love Vaike X Lissa! The supports are great because you get too see Vaikes motives, Owain gets Sol (Vantage and Sol, Awwwwwww yeah) and Vaike X Lissa is actually pretty good combat wise. Plus Owain gets a great damage stat so he can truly let his sword hand go wild.
  10. You don't even have to do that, the skill passed down is the last one you equipped. It's worth remembering earning a new skill counts as equipping.
  11. All I read in the OP was "I liked Fire Emblem before it was cool". Go cry in your basement, not on the forums. I don't know why this thread hasn't been locked.
  12. Interesting points, I totally forgot MU would pass down Tactician to Lucina (I usually do a Gen III pairing) and in turn allow the use of Ignis. Still, the numbers don't lie + Spd/Str -Lck is the best. I ended up using +Spd -Lck as always before I looked at this anyway.
  13. What I do is have Frederick pair with with Chrom and treat it as a master-trainee type relationship. I like putting Chrom into Great Knight asap anyway so it's even more fitting. By time Chrom reaches Ch.11 he has learned everything he can from Frederick so they part ways on the battlefield. Chrom then meets up with Olivia and impressed by her dancing and her ability to smuggle the shepards out of Plegia he decides to marry her after Grangrel is slain. Soon after Frederick meets up with Cherche and they go on to become the royal guard.
  14. I suppose I lied when I said best, there are come options id never use even if people voted for them which wouldn't really help me. I probably should have stated I'll be using Lucina as a Lord.
  15. You forgot to mention that the enemy typically has 3 times more units than you do. Comparing this game to chess is pointless.
  16. Essentially, what the title says, what is the best Assest/Flaw for MU to pass on to Lucina? Just one catch though, I want to keep Morgan perfectly useable so having an Asset/Flaw that cripples Morgan is out of the question. Heres a link showing how the Asset and Flaws affect MU.
  17. Owain is easily the most romanic. I mean he only had to have the avatar expalin to him what love is.
  18. One last one, I promise xD Does the 20 cap also include Priam and co?
  19. Speaking of Spotpass Characters, is there a limit on how many you can recruit? Danos, i just tried it. They only get the blue aura effect.
  20. You must play on normal or something, that unit just screams burden. And why use vantage on a class that gets smacked about in CQC?
  21. Try the fact that my life's awesome. Lets see, I have a great job for my age, I'll be going to Uni in a month to continue studying 3D Animation, oh and theres all the people out there that I care about. If you've ever had suicidal thoughts then your quite clearly doing it wrong!
  22. As far as I'm concerned legalising gay marriage (and thus making it more socially accepted) would be a good thing as it would eventually help lower the population.
  23. Her partner has Dual Guard+ so thats not an issue.
  24. Usually I skip over Noire and bow classes but ultimately curiosity has taken over and now i'm presented with quite possibly the biggest mental debate I've had with this game. How on earth do you make a good bow user with just five skills? (This is for single player BTW) I've been aiming to use the Sniper class so I can take advantage of the Range 2-3 bows however the accompanying skill set has been a massive issue for me. With Gaius as Noires father she has access to the following notable skills: Pass Lucky Seven Luna Galeforce Lifetaker Pavise Bowfaire And from inheritance she can even gain either Sol or Counter. (I passed down counter) So being a bow user and having a weak enemy phase Galeforce is absolutely necessary so your turn will be optimal. Pass is a great skill to have as a bow user incase you get surrounded. That said your team should have a staff user with Rescue and on top of that another unit (potentially a paired up unit) can counter this problem by breaking a hole in the enemy formation. Despite being widely accepted as needed for a Sniper, based on previous points I feel it's a waste of a skill slot. Lifetaker is an excellent healing option, particularly on units with Galeforce. I can't see me dropping this skill anytime soon. Lucky Seven gives you a Hit/Avo +20 boost for seven turns. Since most rounds won't last much longer than 7 turns I feel this skill is excellent. Increasing dodge rate when you can't fight back seems incredibly useful and it helps counter Bowbreaker. I might use this. Counter is a very debatable skill. On one hand being able to damage enemy units on your turn is useful as a bow user however with Galeforce employing hit and run tactics might prove more viable. In my eyes the issue with counter is that you need to take damage for it to be useful however when the enemy team often triples your own numbers taking damage when you can run with Galeforce seems like a bad play to me. I'm very on the fence with this skill. Pavise on the other hand reduces incoming melee damage by 50% minimising the amount of damage you will be taking. This to me seems far more useful since you'll be healing with Lifetaker anyway thus vastly increasing the amount of attacks you can sponge. Using Bowfaire with a Brave Bow means you'll be doing 20 more damage with each hit. Thats really really good and means you'll have a high chance of being able to use Galeforce and Lifetaker. Luna is the best offensive skill when playing Lunatic but on such a crowded character it feels more like a luxury than a necessity. I'm not sure if i'll use this. Sorry for the wall but I really needed to put my thoughts into words. Now that I've gone through all that, the question still begs, what is the optimal skill set for a Sniper Noire?
