  1. Fellas, i haven't played Blue Lions, does the fact that Faerghus committed genocide get properly addressed, like, at all?
  2. neither have I, made the meme after viewing her second c support with Byleth
  3. Also, while we're on the topic of comparisons here's some OC linking her to another character who did absolutely nothing wrong
  4. The objectively correct comparison is with Reinhard von Lohengramm, with Hubert as the lovechild of Kircheis and Oberstein
  5. Is there any specific amount of a stat that needs to be attained to fit that unit's requirements? Looking to recruit Ingrid by rushing flying, but my dex is only 12. Also, what is the required level of a skill?
  6. And this is one stat and one skill on Byleth, or on any of your class?
  7. So, I want to be clear on this: what exactly do you do in order to recruit anyone? Where is it that you put in, for example, charisma and lance in order to attract ther students?
  8. Quite like his content, though as a writer I feel it's more good for entertainment value rather than real lessons. I do love his video on dark lords, though that's probably because I have a major soft spot for that villain type.
  9. The worldbuilding is on the level of some fantasy novels I've read, and I like that, at least so far, the game isn't essentially handwaving the stratified society; classism is a genuine problem in this world, and it has an impact on the characters beyond the superficial. Plus, imperial German aesthetics anywhere are a good way to win me over, and the Black Eagles are no exception.
  10. Yes I do. I'm talking about the Nazbols, who are a meme ideology everywhere but Russia. We can only speculate, but most serious historians who have speculated have come to the conclusion that the regime would have collapsed from unsustainable economics.
  11. This is an important point that is often overlooked; the Nazis, for instance, pursued an utterly contradictory policy whose only rationale was building the wehrmacht, and in Russia many Fascists actually adopt the aesthetics and, presumably, economics of the USSR; if under Communism the nation was strongest, Communists we shall be.
  12. He is absolutely right about the nature of the place from which they came- the country where they were born is broken and crime-infested.
  13. To be fair, knights weren't foreign to Russia and they did have their brand of heavy armored horseman. Funnily although the aesthetics of Leicester are clearly England from what I've heard their government system is most similar to Poland-Lithuania.
  14. Black Eagles gang rise up I mean, they're obviously based off the country in my username, what do you expect
  15. It's funny, I leave the FE fandom and this site and then Three Houses looks incredible. So here I am again. Honestly, though, this is the most excited I've been for a game since Odyssey.
  16. Damn, that was nice. Always a sucker for stuff about the Sanaki-Sephiran relationship; I feel like that's a really unexplored part of the Tellius story.
  17. The Mongols also were hugely important for relations between the Christian and Islamic worlds, and should be studied for that alone. I mean, they ended the last objectively legitimate Caliphate.
  18. Interesting thing, that; much of the Entente propaganda about Germany in WWI would in fact be done by the Nazis in WWII; for example, they did indeed make human soap. In fact when the Holocaust was first discovered many Brits were skeptical, dismissing it as just more wartime propaganda.
  19. Jarrod did nothing wrong But yeah, I do think he's the best. He's basically a good soldier and fighting a guerrilla war is a bitch. I mean, really, what are you gonna do when the populace wont move aside?
  20. Whichever chapter of Conquest(I think it was 25) where you storm the Hoshidan royal palace. The writing is standard Fates fare, but every other aspect of the level does a great job at telling a story. The music is somber. At least on normal there are no enemy reinforcements; this is truly the last Hoshido has, their last stand. The Hoshidans will not attack you; they're focused only on defending their palace. It's the only chapter in the game that really made you feel like a conquerer, feel like the bad guy. The atmosphere in chapter 25 tells the story of the fall of a Kingdom, and it tells a story better than the atmosphere of any other point in the series.
