  1. MU x Maribelle does indeed have great supports.
  2. From what I've seen (and all of these, save Noire, are assuming that the child will be played in their default class, unless the player desires otherwise): Cherche - Gerome is a powerful unit. Prioritize defense against projectiles. Paladins like Stahl (and Frederick after a reclassing) make great fathers for Aegis, as does Virion for Bowbreaker. Nowi - MU and Donnel are naturally good partner choices. Maribelle - As a Priest, Brady is naturally squishy. MU is a great choice of father (especially with HP asset) for his strong growths and Ignis, which is potentially amazing on a War Monk. Kellam is also a strong choice. Sumia - Cynthia's pretty much amazing regardless. Henry for Dark Flyer Cynthia. Chrom can donate Aether. All of her husband choices have something to bring to the table. Lissa - MU can be a good partner, as Ignis helps make up for the otherwise bad stat contribution that Lissa gives him. Gregor can contribute Sol to increase Owain's survivability. Panne - One of the primary problems of a Taguel is a lack of powerful offensive skills. Lon'qu can contribute Astra to make up for this. Frederick, Kellam, or Stahl can give Yarne Luna. Sully - Kjelle is a pretty flexible daughter. As a general, she has powerful defensive utilities, but lacks offensive skills, making a more damage-oriented father wise. As a Great Knight, Luna synergizes with Chrom's Rightful King quite nicely (and Lucina would probably benefit from the skills Sully brings to the table as a Paladin or Great Knight). Cordelia - Cordelia can contribute Gale Force to Severa. That along with Sol is more than enough to keep the young tsundere alive. Focus on the offensive side. Lon'qu is a strong choice for Astra, as is (Great Knight) Stahl for Luna. Gaius for Lethality is not optimal, but is a last resort if other fathers are taken. Olivia - Pretty much the same as Cordelia, except with the addition of Chrom as a potential mate. Rightful King can be quite powerful on Inigo, and Lucina can benefit from the potential Galeforce from Olivia. Tharja - Probably better off changing to a magic user, to capitalize on the modifiers from Tharja. With MU as her father, she's a wrecking ball.
  3. Married Panne my first playthrough, figuring we'd breed like rabbits. I married Tharja, because someone has to be there to protect Noire from her.
  4. I'd like to see an alternative thread where a different child is chosen each day and we vote on the best parent options for them.
  5. He's strong and has quite a few valuable skills, but a lack of supports decreases his usefulness and the ridiculously late time he joins makes him largely pointless. 3/10.
  6. What I didn't realize in making HP my flaw is that the HP asset/flaw also impacts your def and res. It may very well be the best asset for players looking for a tankier route, given that it improves every defensive growth, base, max stat, and modifier with the exception of avoid %.
  7. She's attractive, but obnoxiously whiny. I suppose if one wants a woman who is apparently perfect with a side of self-confidence issues, she's ideal. Personally, I prefer interesting, expressive women (with bonus points for the artistic or tomboyish types), making Morgan, Sully, Cynthia, Noire, Severa, Miriel, or Anna more appealing to me. 4/10.
  8. See title. I've been favoring a speed asset and HP flaw. In my opinion, speed is the most important stat in the game. It's crucial for damage, improves avoid chance, and helps prevent being doubled. My first MU was a magic asset, strength flaw, but his speed was on the low end until I fed him a few speedwings, and the decreased strength wasn't great for Ignis. HP is sort of a matter of personal preference - I find it less helpful than Def, Res, or avoid %, for the most part. It's been working out so far.
  9. I rather agree as well, though I'd say there are two memorable songs in the game ("Purpose" and "Run all you like - you can't escape fate.") Radiant Dawn probably had the best soundtrack to date.
  10. I most definitely do not want to think about sex involving Grima.
  11. I'm thinking that the best way to handle the story would have been to remove the Valm arc and replace it with one in which you play as the children and escape from the future. (Actually, I think a "mid-quel" like this would make an excellent follow-up to this title).
  12. - Vaike is a waste of a slot (or at least he is with the bad growths he always gets in my playthroughs - maybe I'm cursed). - Lissa and Maribelle are intolerable. - Chrom x Female MU conversations are not nearly as bad as they're given credit for. Actually, their S support is probably one of the least forced marriages, other than the child characters who don't propose on the spot. - Gaius is the only one for Cordelia. - Healers in this game are the worst in the series. - The children should have been the main characters.
