Looking forward to watching the Steeler's Oline vs Bengals pass rush tonight. Time to see what Pitt can do to protect Big Ben w/o Pouncy and whether or not Cin get back to last year's level of pass rush. Probably going to be a pretty close game (AKA whoever the football gods like more tonight will win) unless Roethlisberger gets sacked 10 times. Oh, and this mini feature they just showed on McClendon (for those unaware: a 320lb defensive player for the Steelers) doing ballet is quality television.

God, this Malcolm Floyd injury looks awful, looked like he got his neck compressed on that tackle, had to be stretchered out.

A few notes after stewing over the loss for awhile: +probably not a 4-12 team, our o-line has improved over the offseason, Rivers made 3 good TD passes (that first one to Matthews was overthrown pretty badly, was more of a great play on Matthews' part), Weddle is still Weddle, pass rush was decent for most of the night. Oh, and the biggest point of all, our schedule is pretty soft. -Prevent defense is atrocious, people not named Weddle and sometimes Cox in the secondary seemed to forget their assignments mid play. Rivers started throwing ground balls in the 4th. We have no definite #1 receiver, just a large group of #2 and #3 receivers. McCoy is already in my doghouse for trying to "ice" the kicker at the end of the game. Of course, this is just one game, against a team who probably should have blown us out, during National Overreaction Week.

Losing this game means 2nd year in a row we lose on a night game after having a 20+ point lead in the 2nd half (lost after 24-0 lead vs. Denver Mannings). I hoped the coaching change meant an end to that era. Sad thing is, most Chargers fans will put all of the blame on Rivers for that pick-6 without realizing Cushing is pretty good at that defense thing.

A fly flew into my ear, died, and slowly ejected itself out of my ear (as painful as it sounds). Since then, our O has been fairly stagnant, and nervousness level is rising. Floyd has always been a good receiver when healthy, but that was a definite highlight reel catch. And Raven you're partially correct with our hatred of Norv Turner - Schottenheimer was fired during an amazing reg. season (14-2 iirc) but lost in our first playoff game was part of it, and the fact that Norv Turner is often (maybe sometimes wrongly) associated with creating new ways to lose games/otherwise being a bad late game coach.

As I said earlier, I'm fine with autopicking. Also with a 10pm start time there's a small chance I'll be able to hop in mid-draft (as my work schedule entails "be at work at time X, you will work anywhere between 2 and 10 hours, as per manager's decision," so I don't really know what time I will be home for either day).

Here's the rest of my available hours this week - I don't mind autopicking if needed. Tuesday: 1PM CT on Wednesday: 1PM CT - 5PM CT Thursday: 9:30AM CT on Friday: none Saturday: anytime before 6PM CT Sunday: anytime before 6PM CT Work and school is the bane of my free time, sorry.
