Oh and in fe7 I always try to get karel every time, honestly one of my favorite units, despite being told that Harken is a great unit. Played this game so many times, never gotten Harken once. Sword saint and sword demon are just really cool titles, i need those in my team.

I really liked 3, not a huge fan of the series since i've only played 2 and 3 (halfway through 4 since we only got it last year here in nz). I loved that you could turn into a wooly of all things. Would you recommend any of the wii games or are the handhelds generally considered better?

shin megami tensei franchise is a fun one to get into if you haven't already. Devil Survivor games are spin off titles but they're really quite good. There's also persona which tends to be more popular. Nocturne and 4 are amazing. Think Pokemon, except you fuse giant dick monsters on golden chariots, good fun. You should check out radiant historia on the ds, that was pretty good. If you want some older ones, terranigma on snes is quite decent.

Shocking, I too was under the impression that ike was hated in japan, being gorilla and all. Good to see finn there though.

I'm interested in knowing the general consensus as well. Your comment on the dlc makes it seem like they're trying to market the third path as the "true" path, that ties everything together. Having finished both, do you think this might be the case? Or did I just completely misinterpret that?
