  1. I don't have any thoughts on the lord's personality, but the traditional sword lord bores me quite a bit.. Swords, aside from being overdone, have bad attack power and suffer in most late-games, where a lot more enemies use lances. Having a lance or axe wielding lord could be nice, but I think an archer lord would be more interesting, as long as they gave him an ability to fight at close range. More importantly, I'd like to see a lord that has a mount (perhaps even a flying mount) prior to promotion; maybe it's just me, but riding a horse seems a lot more regal than walking. I like the suggestions about laguz/manakete lords as well, as long as their meters/dragonstones don't get in the way.
  2. Boots go to dancers and body rings go to pegs and goddess icons get pawned. Other than that, I use stat boosters to patch any weaknesses in units I plan on using.
  3. 110 hours for me. I find it crazy that people have 1000+ hours at all... congratulations?
  4. In FE7's Chapter 13, I had Hector fighting the boss (green beard man, whoever he is) and he got crit to death. A nice bit of role reversal, I guess; the boss utterly destroying me, and not the other way around.
  5. Great job! One of my favorite LPs ever, I have to say.
  6. I only feel bad for Peg Knights because they're embarrassingly weak and even the worst units can kill them in one round (especially if they're using Steel Lances, in which case almost anyone can double them). Even in FE6 Ilia and FE4 Silesse, where you might expect them to be at their best, they're still god-awful. Other than that, they're the same as the other enemy soldiers. In the Elibe games, I feel even less bad, since it's implied that they're all mercenaries that chose to fight my forces.
  7. Of the games I've completed: FE4: 9 FE7: Cog of Destiny FE8: Hamill Canyon (13, Eirika) FE9: 17 FE10: 4-E-1 through 3 FE12: 19 FE13: Final
  8. FE5 chapter 5 was this for me. To begin with, I was running out of swords given the fact that everyone besides Asvel and Dalshin (sic?) uses them and the only units that I could take them from were Sword Knights who could only be captured by Dalshin (who had ~50% hitrate) and Brighton (if the knights spawned with <10 con, which they rarely did). None of the enemies were especially difficult, until you break Nanna out of the arena, at which point the Killer Edge swordmaster and Killer Axe berserker came along, who could one-shot any of my units and could only be dealt with effectively by Grafcalibur. Of course, if you deal with them (which you have to, since both of them have higher movement than your units) you get Galzuz on your tail, who's worse than both of them combined. I actually managed to get through all of that at one point, but then managed to kill the peg knight (whatever her name is) by having her attack an enemy with a broken sword by accident. Still, very hard chapter.
  9. Especially so if you try to marry Lucina... I figure Chrom might have a few objections there. Then again, marrying one of the children is the only way to get an optimal Morgan, so...
  10. You're probably right... my memory is not very good. Sorry about that. (It's like they always say, PEMN )
  11. I do not know. It hasn't had any adverse effects on me, as far as I know. I will admit that I'm kind of fuzzy on the timeframe, but it was several months at least.
  12. Maybe I'm missing some important context, but I don't understand this logic. Because SOC revealed the story early, people criticized it more? Would they think Awakening's story was better if they hadn't read it all ahead of time? Also, even if he "brought it on himself", I don't think it's too unreasonable to stop kicking the dead horse a year and a half after the game was released internationally.
  13. This is a bit TMI (and by a bit I mean a LOT), but here goes: When I was 10 years old, I went six months without having a bowel movement. Willingly. When I finally decided to rectify that, I spent 6 hours on the toilet (with my mom, to make it slightly more embarassing) in some of the worst pain of my life. I think it's the closest I'll ever come to experiencing the pain of childbirth. On the bright side, I got two days off from school.
  14. I couldn't hear much over the sound of Chrom fangirls, what did he say?
