So I finished Valvrave. The last episode was amazing, can't wait for Fall. I loved pretty much every single thing about the show except for THAT and things related to it. And somehow even though for various reasons I've spent a huge amount of time reading about rape culture/feminism/etc the past week I still can't say that hurt my enjoyment of the show too much. Anime of the Season imo.

You should mark your manga spoilers. [spoiler=AoT manga]The ape can't be Eren's dad. Eren's dad would presumably know about the 3D gear. The ape titan apparently just learned of it. Also, just gonna note that Reiner, Bertholdt, and Ymir all had absurd reactions to the ape titan, so much so that even Connie made note of the fact. Additionally, it was directly after that that Reiner tried to get Eren to come with them. The ape titan pretty much has to be a sign of some awful shit going down.

Pffft, what kind of a retarded shitheel reads visual novels? I've read a few. Fate/Stay Night is pretty much my favorite of the ones I've read, and I'm absolutely in love with it (to a far greater extent than I probably should be). Ever17 was okay I guess, it was really good at points but I had a rather lengthy list of issues with it. Umineko was pretty good, though I still haven't bothered to read Chiru. G-Senjou no Maou was also pretty okay. Though, just gonna say, my favorite part of it was the concept of chapter 5 and my least favorite part was the execution of chapter 5. I read Cross Channel, which was... a thing. It's one of those things that I think I like in retrospect because even though the entire thing is shit it feels like that was part of the point and the ending was pretty much perfect, not only as an ending for it, but it was also a really good ending in general. Also Phoenix Wright is pretty good etc. I have Demonbane and Muv-Luv but still haven't read them because.

[spoiler=vague manga stuff] Somehow like half of my favorite parts of the series about people using spiderman equipment to kill giants are parts that involve people stuck without usable spiderman equipment against tiny giants. It's really weird.

That's pretty much what I love about Saki, especially because of how different she is from how she's been portrayed up until now (which is to say that I disliked her until this episode). She's more than just a generic moe idol ~desuuuuuuu~ etc, which is what I was afraid she would end up being.
