  1. I'm telling you now: you can't afford to lose any more units. The final chapter, 21, needs fodder imo and you don't have access to the prep screen. Congrats, though!
  2. To be honest, thinking about it, probably not. Definitely GBA-like. I think the super inflated growths like Eleano's Magic and Renfa's Strength skewed my perception a bit.
  3. 14 units. And I'd say Sho's little potshots can contribute--if only slightly. I'll admit the game doesn't have any form of late-game remedy if you've been unlucky with growths. They do feel overall high though. Maybe closer to Awakening than GBA FE. I'll watch you play this chapter live and help you in real-time if it comes to it.
  4. Here's my stats from 18 and 20. I know they're not the best, but I don't think they're that far off what you've got. I think there's only the two magic users in the chapter, right? Two in the middle, two on the top right? Once Leah dunks on all them, you should find tanking a lot easier. And yes, I know my Renfa is kinda busted. But I think she's the only big exception.
  5. smh gotta stop watching vtubers to help my boy ruben I don't think you are. I apparently saved over my file for that chapter, so I can't pull anything up to compare stats or anything. But I know I used the three two-tile chokepoints at the top of the map to hold off all the enemies. If I recall correctly, they don't aggro until you target one of them? I'm pretty sure the mages in the middle I used Leah on to kill them both on turn 2 player phase (yours might need to proc a Holy Water if I'm remembering their atk stat correctly [31]. Not having Eleano might actually be pretty bad since she really does hit hard with the Tarot Card(?) spell. I also used Gritz's bear traps this chapter to create artificial choke points when necessary.
  6. In case I'm being dumb: 19 is the Gran Guardian chapter, right?
  7. I thought 19 was pretty easy... By the way, @Sooks as you've finished Zero, you can now officially called Lloyd Bannings by his true name: Roid Mannings.
  8. If Trails is the MCU, Rean is definitely Tony, Lloyd is Steve, Estelle and Joshua are Natasha and Bruce
  9. SC released as I was finishing up FC. I've been on the Trails train for years. SC is my favourite game of all-time.
  10. Cold Steel 1 is good, as is Cold Steel 3 (I think it's better than 1). Cold Steel 4 is GOATed considering it's an easy 30-hour longer experience than most Trails games. Cold Steel 2 can be kicked into the ground over and over though.
  11. By the way, everyone needs to play Bug Fables if they haven't already. The best Paper Mario game.
  12. I'm gonna start this game pretty soon. A lot of people consider it their GOTY.
  13. I'll see the stats once you finish. Curious to compare our units, haha.
  14. Because of the way she's programmed, if you sleep or trap her, her turns clock down the same way she acts (every three player actions). I think it's a pretty interesting chapter because there's no simple way to cheese it, and your player phase actions are limited.
  15. I wonder how Ruben will take to chapter 13's gimmick.
  16. Push the blocks! Make your own chokepoints! Have Eleano kill them in one hit like I did.
  17. By the way, Ruben: you softlock the game if you lose Gritz in chapter 13 or 14; it's impossible to beat 15 without Gritz attacking a specific enemy, and 15 uses the deployment from 14. Game never tells you about this beforehand, which is shit.
  18. Ruben flying through the game. I think the next bunch of chapters are low-deployment ones designed to train the unit you get that chapter. Will be good for Lant too.
  19. Damn, Ruben's save almost got caught in one of Gritz's bear traps.
