  1. I'd rather play it than, uh, Birthright, Revelation, Sacred Stones, Blazing Blade, or Gaiden (not SoV).
  2. Trapper Knight finished. Good thing Kazaha and Lant had an A bond, or else I don't think I've had finished that final chapter. I'll do a brief unit review tomorrow.
  3. Persona 3 FES had such an impact on my gaming-wise, I couldn't enjoy any other game for ages. FC's ending caught my interest so hard I had to play SC immediately (and this was when SC had just released! I told myself I wasn't going to play SC until I finished XCX, which was releasing in a week's time, iirc). It's the biggest reason why I love Estelle and Joshua so much.
  4. SC was the game that got me back into gaming (which I know sounds dumb since I would have had to play all of FC first), I'd pay a month's wage to experience it again.
  5. I don't know what to tell you. I do think Veltina could have had actual stats when she joined. I wish I could watch you play the chapter in real-time so you have a second opinion as the play through it. Other than that, all I can think of is restarting if you think it's impossible.
  6. I believe this got resolved in the Project Naga patch? I remember it being a thing in the translation I used prior, but not in Project Naga.
  7. I do think my team is overall better, but 18 is a chapter you gain a lot of levels in. My team is going to look more impressive because of that.

  9. Also, the bombs the bombers drop have 20 atk, which you can walk into to damage enemies if you have to. It can be useful to damage the fliers (good for your Leah!) and mussels that come from the right side eventually.
  10. If I recall correctly the armours have 17 atk and the fencers have 22? She had 38 hp and around your defence, so it should work. You can always use the defence ribbon if you need to, but you'll have to carry her out since she'll be in the range of the fencers.
  11. Oh, I also found baiting both fliers turn 1 enemy phase on the left side super beneficial too. I did that with Alno on the bottom (with defence dance buff) and Lant on the top, but your Lant probably can't do that. Maybe if you tackle Gaints to that spot it might work. You just need to bait them so you can smack them immediately, since the first two turns are kinds low pressure.
  12. Okay. As stated earlier, I used Kazaha as bait to distract the fake below the bridge. I know she's one of your better units, but I find the faker being out of the picture relieves so much pressure off you. You've probably noted the enemies move in waves, so I immediately rush to the left, setting up traps with Gritz as I do until he gets into the thick of combat. The Thunder Crane for Renfa does bonus damage to armours (I don't think it states this in the description), which I used on turn 2 enemy phase to bait and kill 3 armours and hurt 2 of the enemy Fencers. The enemies in the bottom left corner move a turn earlier than the top left ones, so you can position around that. There's some jank with Rolenson where if he carries a unit that's done an action, get danced, then drops the unit, the unit can act again. This can be used to get huge movement options. Should've mentioned this earlier, but the enemies surrounding the detonation points never move, so don't feel obliged to combat them at all.

  20. This chapter 18 in Trapper Knight is... it's interesting. Shrimp, I think your 7 strength Leah might actually not kill the fliers in one hit, rip.
  21. This was Gaints on my first run. I stopped playing on this chapter because I thought it was seventeen differents kinds of bullshit. This run I found it... okay. A drag, but it wasn't horrible.

  23. I should get back into Vestaria. And yes, the first pony you get is incredibly busted. So is Merida. ❤️
