  1. First run will be Hoshido Normal Classic Reset with a little grinding. As best as possible I want this to be reminiscent of my first FE playthrough where I knew nothing and typically didn't reset if characters died. Avoiding spoilers will be hard though, but if I abstain from this forum for a while I'll be ok. Second run will be Nohr Hard Casual Reset. By second run I should have spoiled everything except the intricacies of Nohr's story, so I'll be able to break the game more. Nohr's higher difficulty, more varied gameplay/story and Nogrind should keep me interested. Third run will be Third path Lunatic Casual Reset. Not even sure if I'll still be playing the game for a third run, but hey 2016 will have a long summer.
  2. They could show the game via Nintendo Treehouse. That means we'd be able to see a whole lot of gameplay and potentially see new characters or game mechanics in-depth. Even though we haven't yet gotten to Japanese release, this could still be shown. After all, Xenoblade X was shown at last years E3 during Treehouse and even the Japanese release was months away. X may have been a huge RPG, but FEif is also the biggest RPG coming to 3DS until the next pokemon game comes out
  3. iirc Troubadour (well Rod Knight) promotions are supposedly Maid/Butler and "Strategist" which is basically non-gender-locked Valkyrie, and neither wield axes. If I had to guess I would say Great Knight (all the Nohr siblings have mounts), General or he just gets his own class.
  4. It will pass quickly, especially as we have two other famitsu's besides the one that was just leaked and potential info at E3. The 6+ months of localisation however...
  5. Even if that is true, Awakening's Outrealm gate ensures that all FEs take place in the same multiverse anyway. Hence why we can semi-canonically hang out with Marth, Ike, Robin and Lucina in this game.
  6. Whether its anime aging or dragon blood, Mikoto is looking fine for 40. I'm still hopeful that there will be room for inheritance shenanigans with Kamui given he/she still appears to be the only one to wield dragonstones. Whether Sumeragi/Mikoto knows or not is unimportant, but this one guy out of 5(arguably 10 with Nohr dragon blood) people being so unique to his siblings seems fishy. Or fish-dragon-thing. Whatever Lilith is.
  7. Well it's the same artist, the same art style and the same engine, and as these are bonus characters too I can't really blame them for just reusing their artwork. There's still 50+ characters who need their art and portraits to be done, and the fact that they can return at all is a cool bonus.
  8. I'm doubting new amiibos will be released just for this game because the Fire Emblem series already has four amiibos to its name thanks to Smash and they are still perfectly usable for FE14. Also, the only characters who get amiibos have them as a result of Smash or by being very iconic characters. In a cast of 40+ people the only characters who qualify for the amiibo treatment would be Kamui and Aqua, as they are the protagonists, and Aqua is still like a deuteragonist to the Avatar. Even then, Robin's amiibo(s) may render Kamuis redundant. This direct is focusing on Japan's summer releases and FEif is probably the biggest 3DS release too. I'd be surprised if it wasn't part of this direct somehow.
  9. This situation could work quite well if you simply limit the number of parallel seals. If they aren't buyable until the final few chapters of the game or even postgame, then the only way they can be practically abused is for lvl 15 promoted skills. Before then, parallel seals will be a resource that has to be spread throughout the army evenly if everyone wants the best class/skills so this system can be balanced if done right,
  10. ngl was genuinely disappointed when i found I cannot fight for my friends. I'm playing all paths, but Hoshido first. Someone's gotta do it, especially because there's almost twice as many Nohrians on this forum.
  11. It's cos she's thinking about Takumi's hot bod. Either that or she just really loves killing Nohrians. I for one wouldn't mind another Henry as long as she gets some character development out of it.
  12. ...actually are cut-ins confirmed to return in this game?
  13. That's what it looks like so far. It seems characters simply get one two skills from an unpromoted class and two skills from a promoted class. As others have mentioned, there may be a method of getting missed skills or perhaps the return of skill scrolls. Otherwise why would we have 6 skill slots for everyone? Hey maybe Second Seals still exist but in limited quantities so only a few characters can reset their level a gain more skills .
  14. I think skills will be gained in the same way as before: by levelling up. Reclassing still allows for a range of skills, but if the level doesn't reset, then it means that units will only be able to get 4 skills by levelling up if works similarly to Awakening. Also reclassing may be more balanced in this game by the looks of things, so don't lose hope yet. I think someone mentioned skill scrolls as well. They aren't hinted to return, but it'd be cool if they did.
  15. Or maybe the Kamui loses his dragonstone during the game. It's very possible that this dragonstone is the only thing in the world that allows Kamui to transform. Thanks to infinite weapon durability they can make this even more plot significant.
