Believe it or not half the reason people like Owain is because of looks.

It's funny because Tharja didn't even end up getting a trophy in Smash, but Owain did along with his petition. The answer has never been more clear.

Who would you say is the most overrated character from Fire Emblem Awakening? Only her looks are overrated. In fact I'd argue her personality is actually underrated. And the things she got like the figure weren't special as that's what they do for females in Japan a lot. She got a leaked trophy in Smash, but majority of the trophies from that game haven't been revealed yet and she is favored by the developers so that is probably the reason. Not because everyone loves her. On the other hand the character that I think is the most overrated is Owain. His looks, his personality, his characterization and depth. All overrated. There are even petitions for him to get his own game.

Well its gonna get at least 1,000 signatures so who knows.

The only thing overrated about Tharja is her looks.With Owain his looks are overrated, his personality is overrated, his depth is overrated. There isn't a thing about him that's NOT overplayed.

You're surprised? And I know I will get flak for this, but Owain is truly the most overrated Fire Emblem character ever. Not even exaggerating.

Except there are tons and tons of people that hate Owain too. Not saying he isn't more popular because there is a good chance he is, but don't deny that he doesn't have a large hatedom too.

It did ok, but that's like the biggest gun Nintendo has and even that didn't help TOO MUCH. I too would be pretty stoked.

The Wii U has a very tiny install base. Even the biggest franchise Nintendo owns is struggling on it, I just feel that a Fire Emblem on the Wii U could end up backfiring. It would be a better idea to play it safe on the 3DS. What do you think?

I don't know really. Tharja is more talked about for sure, Owain has a larger following especially among female demographics. It's close.

I really want Cordelia. It will probably be Owain if anyone though because of his massive popularity.
