I don't know what it is (could be a number of things like anxiety or depression) but distractions distractions distractions if you're too busy to get offended, you probably won't (unless you're silly and make time to be offended) also, exercising is good for your mental health too, IMO. so if possible (idk anything about you), you could always try that. though I guess you didn't want suggestions about what to do, but rather what it is... yeah, idk for that >>

In terms of normal books/novels and the like... this one a friend made called Dream of War, I think. Granted, I'm still not done with it, but I read for "fun" so infrequently, I can't remember the last book I actually finished. (Maybe a Harry Potter one? idk)

K Return of Kings. Also eventually going to watch more of Noragami and One-Punch Man. The former I pretty much already know what happens since I keep up with the manga, and the latter is overhyped so I'm not too motivated to watch it right now. Manga-wise, a bunch, but namely One Piece and a bunch of infrequent ones like Noragami, Attack on Titan, Akame ga Kill, Assassination Classroom, etc (don't feel like listing them all). Also this one that updates frequently but only with 1-page called "Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko!"

Aww, you're going to be away? Kinda curious but I won't probe. I'm pretty sure I'm qualified (though I don't have a ton of free time or else I'd take better care of my own site, but I do have to keep up with FE news anyway) but I'm not sure you'd want me to help out, haha. Ditto this, some people are super insensitive to spoilers and have no qualms about ruining things for other people. Your only chance to not spoil yourself IMO is to completely avoid searching anything related to Fire Emblem (or avoiding YouTube as a whole), sadly, or spoilers might pop-up even in the titles, without you trying. :\

the game is looking more ambitious and impressive every update. nice work. still not interested in playing GBAFE games or hacks though

pfft I capitalized them in my hacks heck it's pretty much the first thing you should do in any hack first copy FE7 over then fix all the weapon names then expand your game, apply patches, etc. I'm not even an FE hacker and I know it's FE hacking 101 *shot*

ahahah I lol'd I should probably say something relevant before i get in trouble again umm this seems like nothing but misplaced/overextended hype (it's nothing but talk/ideas right now) so I'm not even going to bother reporting it. I'd be more interested if there was something to show and I actually had some reason to care about this "Kaga" person (I don't really like any of the older FE games except a little bit of FE2, get at me, and also he's a guy who AFAIK hasn't done anything significant in ages and is going to have a hard time impressing me in the modern age of games and game design). I guess it's cool that people can help pitch in though, best of luck

such rage from some people here, so immature lol I realized it was SMTxFE pretty much right away, get at me granted I'm not exactly your normal fan, for better or worse

DS was just an example, I saw some people want it like DS, different people wanted different things... I see plenty of SMT and Persona in it, from the way the players are aligned in a circle around the enemies (like Persona), to the weak system/attack types (lightning, force, whatever), to the enemy design, to the social life elements, to the game's themes... have you watched any of the trailer analysis videos? Might want to. Maybe go for GameXplain's because it goes in serious depth. We haven't even seen things like stats (it could use SMT's stat system), equipment, how exactly the gameplay works, etc., but there was plenty in the trailer, you just have to look deeper: especially considering the trailer is in Japanese and most people outside of Japan watching it probably don't know Japanese (so they can't understand what the text says or what the lyrics are saying, which give away a lot of hints about the game). Yeah I guess it wasn't as obvious as I thought it was: remember how they had a $30 eShop credit promotion if you bought both SMT IV and FE13 and registered them through Club Nintendo or something? This was to make fans of one series try out the other series, thereby giving SMTxFE a greater chance of selling (as well as well, selling the actual SMT and FE games themselves). In order for this promotion to make sense, they had to make some kind of announcement about the project--otherwise people would be going batshit crazy over how we got a super random promotion and what it means (I don't think the average person would've guessed SMT and FE would crossover in any way, "traditional" or not; the promotion would hint to that, but leave us bewildered and confused). In other words, it was just part of the promotion thing. The game was currently in the planning stages at that moment and that's why we didn't hear/see any serious information for over two years. I guess to me I rationalized this from the beginning so it didn't surprise or bother me that we didn't see/hear about the game for 2 years or that the game turned out the way it did. I know some other people came to the same conclusion, but I think Nintendo should have been more transparent about it so that the average person wasn't confused. agreed fair enough, though you could just hide it heh (game will probably be M-rated for the designs if nothing else...) so you admit you were bitter aaand I'm scum because I lied and responded anyway, I saw SF notify me someone quoted my post and I just had to indulge... I don't know what your definition of crossover is because it's 100% definitely a crossover game to me. And people (again, more of a vocal minority; the most passionate of fans are the most sensitive of fans and the most vocal of fans, not everyone feels the same way) being annoyed/disappointed/whatever is a result of imposing their own hopes, expectations, dreams, etc. on the game, Nintendo, ATLUS, and Intelligent Systems, when they knew practically nothing about the game (except that it took place in the modern world and was a crossover, pretty much). I'm not going to debate whether that was justified or not, but I personally don't have room for sympathy for people who "dug their own grave". If the game played like SMT: Devil Survivor 2 but with more FE aspects, I'd personally probably not like it, but I wouldn't say that anyone let me down nor feel contempt for it turning out this way. Like I said, it's literally just one of the possible outcomes. Maybe if practically NO one liked how it's turned out (after receiving more than just a single trailer worth of information), we could say "man not only did they do something different but it seems like they're not doing any good here", but even if the game is different right now, it doesn't seem like it's bad or lacking in appeal, so I don't think it's very mature of people (not you, but in general) to thrash it and put it down as trash; even if we don't find value in something, it doesn't mean we can't accept and respect the value it has to others. Speaking of trash, there's a saying that goes something like "one man's trash is another man's treasure" :P *shrug* it's too much to expect everyone to have that kind of open-minded/accepting take on it, we're all swayed by emotion after all. It just bothered me a tiny bit that you said it's a "missed opportunity" because it would have been a missed opportunity no matter what. Almost every game is a missed opportunity for another game that could be better or worse. XP so I'll just leave it at that, I think I've said my piece and don't care anymore haha, to each their own~

it's a missed opportunity to you, perhaps, but it's a taken opportunity for others. this turnout is just one of the many possible ones. I'm personally a big fan and probably wouldn't have liked something closer to what other people would have wanted with the grid-based play and totally darker tone or whatever. just different tastes and such and a crossover cannot by any means please everyone or even close to everyone~ :) /captainobvious Anyway, check out this breakdown of the trailer! A little bit disappointed but not that much. I mean, the localization process is really difficult and they probably won't start it until the game is out in Japan. They have to do all the voice recording etc. for it and the release seems more complicated than Awakening. All tings considered, 2016 makes a lot of sense for a release date and like someone said, it might be a tiny bit disappointing just because we're FE fans, but not surprising.

LOL even if I'm the only one who's actually excited for this game, that won't stop me from enjoying the hell out of it. I'm so hyped and it looks great and I think I'm just going to start laughing at the people who are salty over it
