Alright thanks guys, Like I do see a lot of free space clearly, but there are random lines of all 00, then a random 18. To be honest I couldn't really tell you what is free space and what isn't. From what it appears on the line D00000 to about D20000 is quite a bit of stuff in there, and I assume that has to be for something? I mean I figure regardless of where the free space is, I'm really not in danger of modifying any useful data if I just add on to it

Thank you for your responses :), I generally use HxD, and I understand expanding it now. I swear I looked through those options more than once, I guess it just didn't register. I appreciate the help, are there any ramifications of expanding that I should be aware of by chance? I assume really I can put stuff in wherever I want (Preferably orderly), there isn't anything that honestly necessarily needs to be in a certain place I would hope?

I haven't been really editing FE games for very long, and as such I realize I still have a long way to go. I've read through a lot of tutorials, and I have a sort of 'play' edit where I just randomly put things in to make sure I understand what I'm doing. One thing that I really don't get though, is the idea of expansion. I don't see a lot of questions so it seems like something that should be really really simple. I understand there's a lot of free space at some adresses...but it doesn't seem like there's a whole lot of it. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the idea of expansion, but it seems like there should be a way to make more of it, hence expansion? I suppose I thought that for some reason or another, one could apply a patch to a game to create more space. Although I do suppose 0x0FFFFF0 should be the last entry logically, any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for your reply prime =) I added in some light grass, and I thought for the most part I kept the water tiles separated but I guess they all look so similar that I couldn't tell. But I did attempt to add some variation, and I removed that one stray tile near the bridge..not sure how I managed that Edit: Updated picture, I saw one straight line of the same water tile I edited out

Haven't made anything posted in a long time, but for some random reason or another I decided I wanted to learn how to map... This is my first (technically second but the first one burned my eyes) time actually making a legitimate map with Mappy, I am very inexperienced with mapping so I welcome any constructive criticism :)

Interested by the topic (and I'm replaying PoR anyway), so I gave Flare to Soren and tested to see if it worked, and unless there's some specific trick to HP Drain (Like Nosferatu), No HP Drain of any kind occured for me.

At first I thought behind the ear was empty space, but I notice it's on the older one too....maybe I'm wrong and it's an earring?

Well Lachesis, I will admit I have been tampering with a full custom in the recent week or so....and I really have to give the people who do such things credit, maybe I'm just making it harder than it has to be...but I find that I'm not quite skilled in that area :P

I really didn't play long enough to have problems actually, the maps were much larger than I was used to, and there are a lot of differenes (at least the way I see it.) Maybe I haven't really given it a fair chance, maybe I just need to get used to things.

I've gotten Karla for the sake of getting her and her supports (as with Renault <.<)....but no I don't regularly use her, she comes far too late in the game to be useful for me IMO, and you have to recruit her with Bartre....and I really never use him...ever.

I've actually been a fan of your work for a while now <.< I always find myself impressed by your full bodies especially, concidering I'm nowhere near capable of doing such : P (Played your hack too btw = D)

They all have some extent (however small in some cases) of custom work, but no, not from the ground up. I just like to make rather clever (IMO) splices as to make the bases extremely difficult to identify. Also on another note, On the last mug, I am well aware of the lack of border in some places...I just haven't figured out how to make it look good with the outline yet : P

Interested in getting better at spriting, I figure I'll post some of my work here for comments or criticism. I mostly do mugs, and most of my mugs are of women as for some strange reason I find myself unable to do guys (go figure.) I've been spriting for a while now, and as some of my early work would possibly burn the eyes, I'll save you the torment of looking at it You can guess the bases if you wish, but for the first two, I really can't remember, it's been a while. The hair took a while to get right, it may still not be right. This is probably my favorite. My latest, there are random pixels of purple on the armor that I ask you ignore for now, this is still a work in progress, but let me know if you see any obvious problems I missed. I really suck at making clothing/picking out clothes, so I haven't done much work in that area to be honest. Comments/Criticism definately welcome = D, thanks for any feedback
