Honestly, considering how censored this game is probably going to be when it reaches us, I think I may also just get a JAP copy and use smea's new *hax to enjoy the fan translation. So, I hope we see further development with this patch! Have you guys considered setting up a donation pool so you can hire a fan translator to help out?

Is there something specific I have to do to use this patch? I've applied it to a clean rom using Lunar IPS, but none of my emulators can run it.

I don't pirate either, just sayin'. My Gateway is for backups only, too. (Though I guess I see how my post could be taken as it was - it was intended more as wishful thinking. "Waaah, I want the game now!" essentially.)As much as I am against piracy, I can't say I agree about the early access part - even if I did pirate the Japanese version, I'd still be buying both Hoshido/Nohr when they come out. *shrug*

I want to download the game and throw it on my Gateway, but I can read all of 3 Japanese characters and understand 0 words. So, I guess I'm waiting for the localized version.

Do you 'support' LGBT supports in "Fire Emblem: if"?

I want it, as I want to be able to play as myself (a lesbian), but the Japanese are pretty homophobic, so I don't see it being well done. -
Even as a reference, it seems very lazy from a design perspective. If they want to include Awakening characters, just make them spotpass or DLC characters.

I thought it all looked fun, though I am curious as to what purpose face-rubbing has. (Honestly, I was too impressed by the face animations to be creeped out.) -

Female first. II'll end up trying to get all the supports eventually, so I'll need to play as a guy, but I always prefer playing as a girl. -
Whoa, seriously? The writer was behind Get Backers? I used to love that manga (even if the artist went heavy on the fanservice). I remember it being very character-focused, which makes me even more excited for this game. Huzzah!

I wouldn't mind that. Free-to-start carries with it the very obvious fact that you can purchase the full game if you like it, which is much nicer than a "free-to-play" game with usually is code for "pay to win." It'd basically just be a demo that I could keep the save from. -
Hmm. -Magic trinity -Same sex marriage/paired endings -DLC policy like Awakening's (none of this pre-planned DLC before the game comes out... though they've already screwed that one up) -Nohr to have sidequest chapters like FE7 ...that's all I can think of.
