Since the latest Nintendo Direct shown that there is an upcoming Super Smash Bros. title happened today and the game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch system on 2018. But, we haven't seen any footages nor any characters revealed for the upcoming Fire Emblem Switch title and they haven't shown the Fire Emblem Switch title in today's Direct. I'm guessing that we could see Alm (he does use a bow since he does use a bow in his Hero class on Gaiden and Echoes: Shadows of Valentia and it would avoid use the Plain Swordsman category since what happened to Chrom when he was going to be planned during at Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U) or probably add Celica since Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia was released last year and Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia did managed to sold well outside of Japan and it did managed to outsold Pokemon Sun and Moon's numbers since May as one of the Top 10 Best Selling Nintendo 3DS games. However, since the upcoming Fire Emblem Switch title is coming to the same year as the upcoming Super Smash Bros. title, but we have no idea which games is going to be coming out first. I totally think the Fire Emblem Switch protagonist is probably going to be showing up either as an Unlockable Newcomer similar to like Roy in Super Smash Bros. Melee since Roy's game The Binding Blade did released after Super Smash Bros. Melee or he/she will might show up as a DLC Newcomer similar to like Corrin since Fire Emblem Fates did released after Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. I don't think it would make any sense and we don't exactly know if he/she will show up as a default fighter since his/her game is going to be coming this year if the Fire Emblem Switch title as well as the Super Smash Bros. Switch title and we still don't have a single release date confirmed other than confirmed 2018 for both of these titles. I know that Sakurai did add Roy and Corrin to the roster as Unlockable, DLC, vice versa since Sakurai did said he's a big fan of the Fire Emblem series and I totally think we could see the upcoming Fire Emblem Switch protagonist being appearing for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Switch title sometime during at the development. What do you guys think how will the protagonist of the upcoming Fire Emblem Switch title will show up for the upcoming Nintendo Switch title of Super Smash Bros.? I'm pretty sure we could see some or a few Nintendo related characters (like any ARMS characters, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, etc.) who debut from the Nintendo Switch games that were released around 2017 through early or mid 2018 will might show up for upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch either as default, unlockable, or even DLC newcomers. Edit: The E3 Presentation and the latest Nintendo Direct confirms the new title for both games revealed to be as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for December 9, 2018 and Fire Emblem: Three Houses is now set to Spring 2019 instead of 2018.
Basically there is no new news quite yet about Fire Emblem Switch 2018, False Leakers actually are speculating that the new game will have some stuff that they might like, but I don't care, I have my own predictions on Fire Emblem Switch. Multiple paths with different goals. This is a feature I would like, if you choose do one goal you go one route, if you choose to do another you go to an alternate route, just like in Binding Blade, certain conditions needs to be reached, and the Stronghold must be seized, it would be like in one chapter, if you Route the Enemy, you'll go to one route, but if you defend a stronghold, you go to the alternate route, it would be like different stories to make the game more interesting. Better Villains. Echoes had great villains, and Berkut was no exception, but in Awakening, and Fates, the villains in those games sucked, Validar, Grima, Garon, Iago, Hans, and Anankos were pretty bland villains, so if a better villain has a great purpose, then it will be a great story, and one of the best villains in the entire series. Multiple Endings. The previous games had the exact same ending, I am not counting any character endings, I'm counting story endings, but Binding Blade had different endings, and if they do Multiple Endings, then it will be a great addition to the game, and I hope none of the endings have wasted potential, it will depend on how well you do in the story, in all 3 Stories of Fates, you get the exact same ending. Longer and Better Story. Radiant Dawn had a very long story, split into 4 parts, and the game was hard as hell, having the story longer will make it more enjoyable, heck if they can make Fire Emblem Switch longer than a Final Fantasy Game, I want it will take a lot of time and effort, to make it the absolute best story in the series. Better Characters. Basically Echoes had my favorite cast of characters, we got Gray, Kliff, Mae, Lukas, Saber, but some the protagonists in Awakening and Fates were bad, Corrin was by far one of the worst protagonists in the entire series. If they manage to pull off a great protagonist just like they did with Ike, Marth, Alm, Lucina, and Hector, then it would be awesome. 3rd Tier Classes. It was a great addition to add 3rd Tier Classes in Echoes, and Radiant Dawn, Radiant Dawn had a bigger cast, and a lot of 3rd Tier Classes, while Echoes had the Gold Knight, Dread Fighter, and Bow Knight classes, but the Overclass DLC actually broke the game, with the Guru, Yasha, Harrier, etc. So returning 3rd Tier Classes would be great. I can't say for sure, but it's just my opinion. What are your theories about Fire Emblem Switch?
As the title suggests, I'm wondering what are the chances of 8-4 doing localization for the new Fire Emblem on the Switch. I loved their work with Awakening and from what I've seen of SoV, that as well. I must say I wasn't too pleased with Treehouse's quality of English voice acting and overall localization of Fates (not whining about censorship by the way, couldn't really care much about that). I'd love to see 8-4 return once again now that full voice acting is the case with Shadows of Valentia. What are your thoughts?
