  1. Hello! So, I am a big fan of the anime series and mobile game, Love Live! School Idol Festival! (yes that's the title). The anime currently has two seasons, and I believe there is supposedly more coming. However, this thread is not about the anime, its about the mobile game! LLSIF is a rhythm game including a brand new story, separate from that of the anime. If you really enjoy rhythm games and the such, you should check it out on the App Store or Google Play, whichever your device uses. LLSIF is free to play, but it does offer in-app purchases, however the purchases are far from necessary to continue through the game. This thread is mainly for people that are already familiar with the game, so from here on there won't be much for people who don't play the game or haven't heard of it. If you don't have the game yet, I highly recommend checking it out and becoming a part of the community! You can read a little bit more about the game here: schoolido.lu/ or you can just search "School Idol Tomodachi" and it will be the first page. Anyway, the main point of this thread is to share our experiences, share friend codes, and generally talk about the game. Here are my friend codes for both the English Server and Japanese Server English: 939582942 (Blake ^-^) Japanese: 807703361 (Arlis)
  2. This is really exciting news to me. Although I joined in late with Dragon Ball Z Kai, it was still my first anime. What would you like to see in the new saga of Dragon Ball? People have been speculating that the gods from the movies will be an important element in the new series.
  3. Am I the only one who reckons Path of Radiance would make a F**KING GOOD full length Jap-anime film? I prefer FE7 as a game, but 9 has an amazing plot I'd love to see in a film. Tonnes of detail and relatable to the real world I think. I play that game more for the story than the gameplay to be honest. I'd comment also on Radiant Dawn, but I can't find a place to buy that f**king game anywhere -_____- What do y'all think? Is there a more fitting game for an anime film in your opinion? Or would a film ruin your love for the series?
  4. The Fire Emblem series had an anime a while back like in 1997. It was based off of Mystery of the Emblem and wasn't very popular, having only two episodes in the English dub. I think it would be amazing if they made a Fire Emblem anime in the style they do the cutscenes in the games. This one would probably be a lot more successful than the past one in my opinion. I can see how Nintendo would want to avoid that thinking that it would be the same failure as the 1997 one. Fire Emblem is the perfect series for an anime I think, it already has amazing cutscenes so just make a lot more of those and form it into a story and bam, theres your Fire Emblem anime. I would also prefer more than 2 episodes this time and an actual decent story, but I'll take about anything xD. So would you like to see a new Fire Emblem anime in the future? What are some of your ideas for a story for it?
  5. Hello there everyone, I'm good ol' Kanethedragon. Currently I'm a student aiming towards making a hit into the game industry, but I still got quite a bit of time ahead of me before that. I'm a passionate fan of Anime as well as video games and am on constant update with the seasons for both industries (even though 90% of games I mostly experience through vids rather than in my hands due to never having the $ for it all.) I have a youtube account that hasn't seen much content from me til recently ever since I started it up back in 2010, and said recent content being added is done through streaming from twitch and then exporting the broadcast. I also happen to know my way around programs like photoshop and illustrator and am a certified associate for both programs (though certainly not an expert.) Other than that, the anime I watch and games I play are varied. I have a relatively decent pc that I use for a few stuff from steam as well as Osu! and FFXIV. I also play Leagues of Legends every now and then if anyone's interested, but I don't get on it too often and I tend to know how to work my best around Ahri and a bit of Ashe and Akali. When it comes to console games, on the Nintendo side I have just recently got into Fire Emblem with Awakening and am currently in the midst of support grinding and netting copies of Limit Breaker to maximize my entire army's stats. I also technically beaten Lunatic, but I never got the children and nearly my entire deployed group died (it's classic) so that's why I'm over-grinding currently so that I truly beat Lunatic and then move to L+ Classic (which I plan on using the free emblem once available to snatch my MU because I am never going to run CH3 ever again without a guide. I needed to pull all the strategy out of my head when I did that on my Lunatic run to not get anyone killed.) As of right now my main unit is sitting pretty nicely with a Dread Fighter +Mag/-Lck Armsthr/Ignis/Lifetak/Aggressor build and holding the Book of Naga, a forged Bolt for Crit and Damage, Mercurius, Vengeance, and a forged Brave Axe for 16 Mt and 80 hit. Outside of FE, other Nintendo console-based games I play include the LoZ series, Rune Factory Tides of Destiny for the Wii and 4 for the 3DS (and hopefully 3 eventually), Smash Bros (only have SB4 on 3DS so far though), Pokemon, Gunvolt, and a few others. I also have a few games on my wishlist for Nintendo consoles which include Fatal Frame 5, Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon, quite a few LoZ games, Rodea: The Sky Soldier, KH3D, Eternal Magna, Xenoblade and others you may or may not know of. Continuing with the games, I also happen to be a dedicated Playstation fan of late as well. The starters of this include my current favourite video game franchise of all time Ar Tonelico, as well as other games like Hyperdimension Neptunia, Disgaea, the Atelier series, and I have a profound interest in low-key games for consoles I don't own yet (specifically the Vita) like Operation Abyss, Freedom Wars, Danganropa, GODS EATER and others that I currently don't have their names in my mind. As a denomer, I am somewhat fluent in Japanese (can read some kanji as well as hiragana and katakana) and I am capable of generally translating information from Japanese releases. I also happen to be a huge japan-o-phile/anime culture fanatic, borderline what some may jokingly or seriously call a filthy weaboo. And speaking of that I'll go into my anime interests. As of right now I'm watching shows from this season which include Punchline, Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha ViVid, Kekkai Sensen (or Blood Blockade Battlefront...and I'm REALLY lovin it so far), DanMachi (Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon?), Fate Stay/Night UBW, Owari no Seraph (Seraph of the End), Kyoukai no Rinne (RIN-NE), and Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku (Mikagura School Suite). Shows I've watched include Dog Days all seasons, To Aru all seasons, Hayate no Gotoku! up to Cuties, Kill la Kill, Aldnoah Zero (S2 sucked horribly though..music was great), Space Dandy S1, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, Higurashi Kai, 11eyes, Shugo Chara, This Ugly Yet Beautiful World, Mouretsu Pirates, Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi, Sacred Seven, Eureka 7 all seasons, K Project, Kiddy Grade, Tokyo Ghoul S1-2, SAO S1-2, Log Horizon S1-2, Fairy Tail up to ep 10 2014, as well as many others. Basically when it comes down to it, I'm relatively well-versed in anime and have known quite a few that are relatively good but might've been passed up by most and vice versa. And there ya go, all there is to know about Kanethedragon. And if I haven't mentioned it already, I'm a Floridian, so there you are. I also have a rarely used Deviantart under my name as well as a twitter and facebook account which are connected to my youtube and twitch accounts. And with that, I hope to see you all in the forums ;P
  6. I just realized that the plot concept reminds me a bit of Code Geass. Especially with the European inspired nation oppressing the Japanese inspired nation... XD Kamui's situation is almost like a cross between Lelouch and Suzaku. :) What does the game remind you of?
  7. So anyone here into DBZ? I think I saw a few people with DBZ avatars on here once. Anyways, I'll be using this thread for DBZ-related stuff. :^} Here, have a soundtrack: [spoiler=Imperfect Cell Theme]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhPj_QQx5BU
  8. Anyone know any anime a manga that resemble Fire Emblem? Whether it be wars, magic, creatures, dragons, pegasus, weapons, characters, status, circumstances, tactics, etc. The only one that I know that bears a striking resemblance is an anime called: Madan no Ou to Vanadis (The King of the Magic Bullet and Vanadis) Info Links: http://myanimelist.net/anime/24455/Madan_no_Ou_to_Vanadis https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=69978 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord_Marksman_and_Vanadis I have also read and watched all the Fire Emblem manga and anime available on the internet. If anyone, regardless if its only a tiny bit similar, I would love to know more. Thanks for reading.
  9. So I know the fourth episode of Memories of Phantasm was released some time back. However, while I can find raws, I cannot find any with English Subtitles. That might not exist yet, but does anyone know of one that does?
  10. Summer always gives me the urge to watch anime, but I haven't been keeping up with anything and don't know how to find what I want to watch. I'm in the mood for something high-schooly, dramaish, or something with a good summer vibe to it. Anyone have any titles to suggest? Meanwhile anime general. I like shows like Clannad, Kokoro connect, etc
  11. Create your own harem, starring you! Choose four through ten fictional characters or real people. State why you chose those waifus or husbandos. My list... Robin (Female) Nowi Panne Henry Isabelle Ditto Light Yagami Me as a girl N
  12. After a character finishes their turn, a option called 'anime' pops up under end. What does it do?
  13. Give me good magical girl anime to watch. And don't say Madoka because I've seen it.
  14. I'd like this thread to be a place for HxH fans, or even haters, to gather and discuss the show and the individual episodes in a civilized manner. Also, don't mention manga related events please, as, while I myself do read it, some of us might not , and would prefer not to be spoiled on the coming events. If you really must, write it in a spoiler tag, and write a warning above the spoiler button. Discussion topics may range from any arc to individual episode, be it episode 1 or 130. As such, I'd like to start by writing a short opinion on the latest episode, episode 138. The episode starts with Ging talking about his motives, or rather, giving a vague answer on it. He was shown to be a calculative character so far, going by the plan with which he predicted the actions of the Zodiacs in the last episode. "Everything according to plan" is a rather silly trope, but Ging managed to keep it slightly believable at least. But anyways, he himself doesn't care about the position of chairman, all he wants is to pay respect to Netero's last will, by making his target move the way he wants to, implying he has someone in sight who he'd want to become chairman. Afterwards, we go back to the table where the Zodiacs sit at. And Pariston brings up a point I wondered about myself: that at least that short guy, and possibly some other zodiacs too, are idiots, which makes me wonder how got their rank in the first place. A zodiac, i.e. a Hunter among the best of the best, should be both smart and strong, not just the latter. Pariston however is more of an interesting guy. We know next to nothing about him, only that he behaves like a nice and charming man, but in actuality is quite sneaky and manipulative. Otherwise, the zodiacs wouldn't fear him, nor would Beans wonder about Netero's decision of making him vice chairman. And that is another interesting point, why would Netero have chosen Pariston as his vice? Surely not only to be entertained. Such hints that Pariston might actually be a good leader, or a worthy successor to Netero, despite his sneaky nature. By that I mean a leader who'd actually pay attention to his subordinates. Moving on, we come to the most important parts of the episode, Killua meeting his own family again. Thanks to his training, he managed to upen up 5 doors of his mansion, whereas before that he could only open up 2 or 3 IIRC. Then we see him meeting his father, talking about a yet unintroduced sister, Alluka. Silva mentions how she isn't human, angering Killua. Such already should be warning enough, as even the most fearful Nen users aren't refered to as inhumane. Alluka's power is quite an interesting one, even if cliche. Ofc, one may argue that such an almighty power is unnerving and unnecessary, HxH did a good job by countering the benefits of her power with an equally destructive drawback. The requests made by Alluka will be proportional to the last wish made, meaning that if Alluka grants an incredible wish, the person receiving the requests from her afterwards will have literally no chance to survive. Killua refers to it as equivalent exchange, and that term is perfectly fitting for the situation. Although, there is one thing that bothers me with the whole Alluka thing. Ofc, Killua's wish will be to remove the limitations Gon set to himself, to save his live. There are two problems with this: The first one is that saving Gon like that is a cop-out. Alluka's character was handled well so far, and she has a highly intriguing power, but if combined with Gon she quickly turns into a plot device to make Gon's sacrifice undone again. As such, one may compare it to the Dragon Balls. Secondly, the wish to save Gon is a ginormous one. In fact, I don't believe the millionaire wish can even remotely compare to it, as the wish to save Gon defies a terribly powerful limitation set to himself, and defies the concept of death itself in a way. Were Alluka to ask requests to someone after saving Gon, not only would these requests be absolutely impossible to fulfill, after denying 4 requests over a 100 people may have to die. Killua is surely aware of that, yet he decides to go through with it. And while it shows his loyalty for Gon, it is still a morally questionable course of action. All in all, the episode had a lot of interesting moments, and while I am nitpicking at some details, that is only because of my devotion to the series. Due to it being so amazing in most parts, one can't help but notice some small flaws, as they become more apparent if compared to the rest. The imlications for the future might be worrying, but so far HxH never failed at excelling in execution.
  15. After sadly finishing the anime, I've been giving this a lot of thought, because locating others with this ability will most likely be a huge part of he second season. I'm really interested in what other people are speculating. I would have done a poll, but some of the choices would have been out-of-this-world epic (Titan Mikasa=GOD) or rather silly (Titan Armin *snickers*). But anything is possible since we know nothing as of yet!
  16. Hi everyone! I will present an idea that I had! It seems interesting to me, the idea is to make a FEhack with the history of Sengoku Basara (anime). I think this hack may become famous because Sengoku Basara chronicles of war between nation first! So I think putting this lively tactics sauce fire emblem would do him good. This is just an idea, now that you have read, you are free to developped, you can also stole his equals me, to play it would give me great pleasure! The mieu would be gathered all the BOSS FEhack on this project, especially since there is not a single armed to okay maybe a lot of work! I count on you! :) Here are some picture: I wait your answers :D !
  17. I'm rewatching the Pokemon anime....and reviewing it. Because clearly I have nothing better to do (don't judge me, bro!). http://refathegreat.wordpress.com/2013/09/20/pokemon-episode-1-pokemon-i-choose-you-review/ If you find yourself in the same camp, feel free to read. Otherwise, I dunno, talk about how Ash is worse than Red or how much the GS ball sucks.
