  1. Does anyone got all three in less than 100 hours? Been playing my file for more than 90 and haven’t got even one... have had farmed inner sanctum for a long time and Thabes and still nothing. On Thabes I usually get a few rusted weapons but they are normally venim weapons. Do you have any tips?
  2. I know that Fire Emblems legendary weapons aren't exactly famed for having deep histories, but I'm seriously curious if there is any background or lore for Valentia's supposed legendary weapons: Astra, Sol, and Luna. Unlike other games in the series, where you get the weapons over the course of the story or by filling a side objective, in both the original Gaiden and the remake, the legendary weapons are random drops from enemies that have a ridiculously low chance of spawning, and in Echoes you have to spend a few gold pieces to forge the rusted weapons. The most I could find is an award description in Echoes saying that they are relics from the distant past, and they do have similar designs in Echoes, but other than that I couldn't find anything else about them. It doesn't help that their weapon types and visual design has changed from game to game. So again, I'm curious; Do Astra, Sol, and Luna have any lore or background somewhere, or are they really just as mysterious as their reward says?
  3. I'd prefer to put this in a skill thread if there is one that isn't outdated, so mods can remove this if necessary.
  4. I want to give my Sol Manual to someone that cannot use swords in FE5. Will it ever proc that way? Also, I don't think the sword skills can work with non-swords in FE4, but I'm not sure about FE5. Help please?
  5. I'm thinking of having Donny equip Sol. (The Sword) With Armsthrift, I believe it's a rather good choice. Donny doesn't have THAT many useful skills, anyways? But, since I already have him equip Sol, The Skill, will the chance for the Skill to activate double?
  6. I post this here as well as gameFAQ in case people are interested. Since people keep on repeating the same questions forever, I decided to make a little spreadsheet to help everyone estimate their damage. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GsTw_wKN_fLDjx4diZqXaMVzLeVclYszgDhrDOT8gi0/edit#gid=0 In the first row, you can specify your own stats which are needed for damage calculations. Add your strength and weapon might and weapon rank bonuses (Faire skills, Aggressor etc.) and put them into the cell below "P. Attack". This is the stat you see ingame as "Atk". Add your magic and skill. Magic is needed for Ignis damage calculations, skill is needed for trigger chances of skills. On the right side you can toggle "Rightful King". The second row shows you the exact chance to trigger each skill in percent. In the third row you can toggle skills. If you want to activate a skill, enter 1. To deactivate, enter 0. The fourth row you can see average and maximum damage of a skill. Fifth row describes the priorities in which the triggers of each skill are checked. Let's say you have lethality, aether and luna. The game will roll whether you activate lethality, if that happens the skill triggers, if not, the game rolls for aether, checks if it triggers or not, if aether doesn't trigger, the game checks for luna. The left column of the sixth row can be ignored since it's only purpose is to provide data for calculations. The right column of the sixth row shows the average damage contribution of each skill. It's an estimation based on your stats. red "lethality" rectangle shows damage in case it triggers or no. Same with aether, astra, luna, ignis. Edit: If you want to use this for magic, put your magic in "P.Attack" and your Strength in "M. Attack" and put the resistance of the enemy into "defense". It's only needed for Ignis calculations. Tell me what you think of it if you'd like.
  7. Is it just me, or does anyone else think the weapon for Astra should have been an axe, and not a bow? If they had made it an axe, the three weapons (Sol, Luna, and Astra) would've completed the weapon triangle. Also, the first letter of each weapon's name would've matched the first letter of their weapon type's name (Sol and Sword, Luna and Lance, Astra and Axe), which would've been a nice touch.
