  1. I have been playing with a Male MU the whole time and just now I want to try out the Female one. Aside from the Galeforce, Dread Fighter/Bride, is there any noticeable difference between the two versions? Another thing is that the male MU sort of have several ideal wives (being Lucina, Aversa or Nowi in my last playthrough) who generally give Morgan a huge boost. But what about the female MU? From whom Morgan benefits the most? I haven't seen much discussion about it. I usually go +Spd -Res for Asset and Flaw, but I haven't created my character yet, so it can be changed. The same with 2nd Gen character, as I have yet to pair the couples. Although I do tend to make her a magic/or hybrid. And I have DLCs. Please share your thoughts! Much thank! MaMU doesnt count =D
  2. I have a number of supports from Awakening you guys don't have and I'll post as much as I can: #1: Male Avatar and Ricken C Support Ricken: Hrmmm... Avatar: Still writing that letter? You've been staring at a blank page for an hour. Was it bad news? Nothing serious, I hope. Ricken: No, just an average letter from my parents. "Hope you're well," and all that. Avatar: Then why are you so strapped for a reply? Ricken: It's... tricky. I just don't know what to say. Avatar: There are plenty of things you could write about! Especially after that last battle. Tell them about how you dodged one brush with death after the next! Impress them! Ricken: Are you insane?! The object is to make them worry about me LESS! Avatar: Oh. Right. Well, why not tell them about that fight against the Risen? Talk about how you tore them limb from limb and flung the pieces to the winds! Ricken: But I did no such thing! Besides, that would have them worried about me in a whole other way... See the problem? I can't LIE, but if I write about how things really are, they'll worry. And if I write about how much I miss them, that only makes it worse... Avatar: How about just a few words to let them know you're all right? Ricken: ...I don't know. Maybe I'll just hold off until I do something that makes them proud. Avatar: Well, if they could've heard you just now, they already would be. B Support Ricken: Hmm... Avatar: Still haven't written a reply to your parents, have you? Ricken: Yep. Stuck again. I can't think of the right words to say. Avatar: You could always just head back. Ricken: Head back where? Home? Avatar: Why not? Stop by for a quick visit. Spend some time with your family. I'm not saying to drop everything and go tomorrow, but once things settle down. Ricken: ...No. I can't go back yet. Avatar: Why not? Ricken: I don't know how much you know about me, but I come from and old, respected house. And lately, my family home--and name--has fallen into serious disrepair. So this war is about more that saving the world, at least for me. It's about restoring my family name. And I can't go home until I've done it. Avatar: That's a lot to put on yourself, Ricken. Your parents are lucky to have you. Hard to imagine such a model son running around dismembering Risen and flinging-- Ricken: Stop with the dismembering already! What kind of monster do you think I am? Avatar: Ha ha, I'm just teasing. Seriously, though, if you won't visit, you should write. Sparing your parents from worry is part of being a good son, after all. Ricken: Yeah, I know you're right... Okay, I'll keep it real basic. "Dear Mom and Dad, I hope you're well." Avatar: "Today I saved the life of my beloved, and the field ran red with the blood of my foes!" Ricken: "Today I saved the..." ARRRGH! Will you NOT do that?! Avatar: I'm helping. Ricken: YOU ARE NOT! A Support Ricken: Hey, Avatar. Would you mind sending this out with the other deliveries? Avatar: Letter to the family, eh? So did you finally figure out what to write? Ricken: I just wrote the truth: that I miss them and hope to see them again soon. Avatar: No tales of glory? No brave words? ...No dismemberment? Ricken: Hah! Not this time. I guess restoring the family name will have to wait a bit longer. I simply wrote that I've come a long way, but there's still more to be done. Not the greatest news in the world, but better than silence, I guess. Avatar: But it IS great news! I'm sure it'll put their minds at ease. Ricken: By telling them how weak I still am? Avatar: No, by telling them you know your limits and you're working to overcome them. That's a very mature way of thinking. I'm sure they'll be proud. Ricken: Heh heh! You really think so? Avatar: I guarantee it! You did great, Ricken. Now get over here! Ricken: EWWW! Leggo! No noogies! Stop treating me like a kid! Didn't you JUST finish saying how mature I was?! Avatar: Ha ha! Sorry, it's just that hat and those cute wittle cheeks just begging to be pinc-- Ricken: Come on, knock it off! There you go! I'll do more at a latter date.
  3. So I tried to see what would happen if I kept Robin out of getting the veteran bonus and then removing it from him when I got the first chance. My results: (S)He's kinda underwhelming. I was using Good Hp bad Luck and for the most part, he isn't bad but he's not good either. I've never noticed how much Robin require those few early levels to really make such a difference. Any thoughts or anyone else got an experience with doing something similar?
  4. Picture the scene: You've just completed Awakening for the first time, and you're curious about what the developers had to say about your HenryXFeMU pairing. Except it's literally an *insert name here* ending. There is absolutely nothing different between you and your friend's endings, apart from your MU's husband. I want to make better endings for EVERY MU pairing. I've finished a few, which I will show here. I will use the default name for the avatar. (Robin.) RobinXSay'ri Robin and Say'ri returned to Chon'sin together to rebuild the shattered society. Although Robin was her husband, he left the ruling to her but occasionally appeared in the courts to remind the pettier nobles of him and his wife's hard work during the war. They lived our their lives together in prosperity and happiness. RobinXAversa People often questioned Robin's choice of wife, and Aversa sometimes questioned her choice of husband, but they lived happily together as the new rulers of Plegia in Gangrel's place. They had two children: A studious tactician named Morgan, and a beautiful heartthrob called Elise. RobinXFlavia Robin and Flavia were famed for their fighting spirit and love even during the war. They settled down in Regna Ferox as husband and wife, and ruled justly. Basilio would often visit to reminisce about the war and challenge Robin to duels for Flavia's love. RobinXEmmeryn Emmeryn only got a few of her memories back, but she didn't mind. Her and Robin left Ylisse for a different lifestyle in the hopes that they would never have to hear of war again. Future Morgan left after a few years, so he would not meet the new-born present-day Morgan. RobinXWalhart Chrom was stunned when he heard of Walhart and Robin's union, but he managed to stop laughing long enough to say goodbye. They left for Valm, where Walhart turned over a new leaf as a benevolent ruler. RobinXYen'fay After much consideration, Yen'fay decided to stay in Say'ri's time. He tried to brood as little as possible about the alternate future. Robin ruled over Plegia with Yen'fay's help, though he kept to the shadows for quite a while until Morgan was born. RobinXLucina Chrom found Robin and Lucina's a little strange, but he blessed their union anyway. The two of them became the rulers of Plegia. Lucina often wore her mask in public or asked for a hex to hide the Brand of the Exalt on her eye. RobinXAnna Anna realized that she did love Robin more than money, and they ruled over Plegia together. However, she often made shady buisness deals at night to increase the royal treasury. As well as Morgan, she adopted one of the children of another Anna, named Hannah. I am adding in non-canon children as well. If you have any comments or suggestions, don't hesitate to go for it!
  5. I basically am just curious to what people created and the waifus they picked for their awakening character. Female character/Dren Body Type 1 Face Type 4 Hair Type 5 Hair Color 8 Voice Type 3 Husband Gaius Child Morgan(I call him Rin instead though) Male Avatar/Sei Body Type 1 Face Type 5 Hair Type 5 Hair Color 19 Voice Type Wife Say'ri Child Morgan(I call her Rei) Well, reply away and stuff C:
  6. So, this is killing me. I'm doing a Lunatic run and can't decide who to have MU marry. I could really just use some help deciding between Cordelia, Lucina, and Tiki. My character has +Str/-Res. Just, I can't choose because each is awesome in their own right. I could really use the help deciding so I can start training Morgan, the destroyer of worlds to be invincible just like her old man. I know there's a post like this but, I also wanted to make my own just to test the site out.
  7. *VOTE CLOSED! THANK YOU ALL!* So I recently started a new file on Awakening. I just completed chater 13. The only person married yet is Chrom to Olivia. And I have a Smallest-Build-Male-Avatar. Problem is, I don't know who to marry to him. I already married Tharja on my first playthrough, so I would rather not do that again. I'm considering marrying a 2nd gen character, but the only thing stopping me from doing it is not having 2 kids; only one. So what do you guys think? Marry 2nd gen character? If so, here are who I'm considering: Lucina (Gonna make her a Swordmaster) (Olivia is her mom) Cynthia (When I get her) Severa (When I get her) Nah (When I get her) and Noire (When/If I get her) remember, I have a little shota avatar, so marrying all of them is totally not pedoish Discuss. +Magic/-Res, btw. The person I'm marrying had better have brown hair. My avatar does as well, so Morgan can continue the tradition.
  8. Here's my problem; I'm ready to learn about any complex and long hacking proccess, but I don't know how, and want to change my unit's class into a manakete, and things as such, targetting FE: Mystery of the Emblem/Heroes of Light and Shadow only. I made my little research first of course. It led me to Rasdel's extra classes save data, but there's something that bothers me about playing with someone else's character... I hate being picky. My apologies. The point of having My Unit is to be your avatar to play through the game. The hairstyle is the only thing I could legitimately change. Also Rasdel has been offline since September 2013, I don't think I can contact him to ask any questions...
  9. I can't decide what I want to do with my female avatar, so I'd love to see what everyone else has done or is doing! What are the classes she has/she'll go through, the skills she has/she'll use, and what of her Asset and Flaw?
  10. In my quest to enjoy the game again, I decided to replay it in Lunatic with a gimped Avatar (+Mag, - Def) she was still useful but can't wreck everything in EP. I relied a lot more on actual teamwork than the usual Lunatic playthrough. I was using Stahl/Kellam pair until Cordelia arrived and then it became my standard Stahl/Cordelia thing, Frederick/Sumia (Fred's still going strong in Chapter 13 what), Cavalier Chrom/Avatar (Chrom being the good one in this pair), a rather spd screwed Wyvern Panne (Cherche came with better spd base, which is ridiculously improbable, I'm probably benching her for Cherche, which is weird), Libra, Olivia and I even used Virion at some point but had to stop due to deployment slots. It was rather fun. Problem is I bought Pokemon Y so gg FE13. Anyway, I recommend playing like this in Lunatic if you don't find it fun anymore: -No deaths -No grinding on anything. -Avatar must have bad asset and bad flaw , preferably defense so it can't tank, ever. -No buyable nosferatu, buyable Rescue optional, up to you if Sol is allowed. It's a lot more challenging and fun this way.
  11. We all know the scene at the end of chapter 14. Where in a desperate move the Avatar plans to set the enemy fleet alight. It works at the cost of about half of the fleet. Yet many people I've seen nitpick this is a total illogical strategy. I have a counter argument. In 208 AD there was a battle in China known as the Battle of Red Cliffs also known as Chibi. Keep your hats on this is going to be a history lesson. Note some bits are taken from my memory and some from Wikipedia to make my explanation better The rouge ruler Liu Bei who for a good number of years had been roaming China trying to find a foothold to fight the lord of the North Cao Cao. Forged an alliance with the ruler of the south lands Sun Quan having succeeded his eldest brother Sun Ce [who was known as The Little Conqueror for his quick defeat of the lords of the Wu lands] after his very untimely young death at the age of 26. Cao Cao who had chased Liu Bei into the south along with a mass group of peasants and some loyal followers. planned on defeating both lords at once and if he had, it would have been a total victory for Cao Cao's Force which would be later renamed Wei. Zhuge Liang, a gifted minister of Liu Bei's. Was sent to talk about the possible alliance By the time Zhuge Liang arrived in the south lands of Sun Quan, Cao Cao had already sent Sun Quan a letter boasting of commanding 800,000 men and hinting that he wanted Sun to surrender, the faction led by Sun Quan's Chief Clerk, Zhang Zhao, advocated surrender, citing Cao Cao's overwhelming numerical advantage. However, on separate occasions, Lu Su, Zhuge Liang, and Sun Quan's chief commander, Zhou Yu, all presented arguments to persuade Sun Quan to agree to the alliance against the northerners. Including their naval advantage, because Cao Cao until this point had rarely had to fight on the sea, and the men of the south often boasted of their naval prowess, Sun Ce before his untimely death had even recruited quite a few pirates into his force. Sun Quan eventually agreed to the alliance. Famously cutting his desk in half with his fathers sword, and claiming "Anyone who still dares argue for surrender will be treated the same as this desk" It's also depicted in some media to have been Zhang Zhao's letter of surrender along with the desk He then assigned Zhou Yu, Cheng Pu, and Lu Su with 30,000 men to aid Liu Bei against Cao Cao, Although Cao Cao had boasted command of 800,000 men, Zhou Yu estimated Cao Cao's actual troop strength to be closer to 220,000. Furthermore, this total included 70,000 troops via impressment from the armies of the recently deceased Liu Biao lord of the Jing territory and relative to Liu Bei, so the loyalty and morale of a large number of Cao Cao's force was very unclear. The combined Sun-Liu force sailed upstream from either Xiakou or Fankou to Red Cliffs as I will show on this map below, where they encountered Cao Cao's vanguard force. Plagued by disease and low morale due to the series of forced marches they had undertaken on the prolonged southern campaign, Cao Cao's men could not gain an advantage in the small skirmish which ensued, so Cao Cao retreated to Wulin (north of the Yangtze River) and the allies pulled back to the south Cao Cao in desperation to keep more of his men from getting sick, decided to moor his boats together. Because of his northern based troops they were not used to the sea at all. One of Sun Quan's officers Huang Gai, who had been serving since the days of his father Sun Jian [Who for a little backstory was the famed Tiger of Jiang Dong, Pirate Hunter and descendant of the Art of War's creator Sun Tzu] noticed just how easily it would be to set the entire fleet ablaze. He decided to fake a surrender, and defection. He took a squad of ships along with him. and his small fleet sailed towards Cao Cao's base. The wind was blowing strongly from the southeast. When Huang Gai's fleet reached the middle of the river, the ships all raised their sails, and Huang Gai lifted a torch and instructed his men to shout "We surrender!" Cao Cao's troops came out of the camp to look and they said Huang Gai was coming to join them. he ordered his men to set the ships on fire and they boarded the smaller boats behind. As the wind was very strong, the flaming ships sailed towards Cao Cao's warships at fast speed and caused them to catch fire as well. Cao Cao's ships were all burnt down the flames also spread quickly to his camps on land. Zhou Yu then ordered an attack on Cao Cao's base and scored a major victory. Cao Cao retreated north with his surviving troops after his defeat. Liu Bei along with his small force did attempt to give chase but were unable to succeed in catching Cao Cao. Later the Three Kingdoms Era would officially start. Liu Bei in the Shu-lands, Sun Quan in Wu and Cao Cao with Wei. As you can see.. The avatar's fleet burning tactic isn't quite so farfetch'd now is it? Granted it was much easier to pull off then the Sun-Liu forces but all and all. I don't see why people complain about this scene. There are plenty of other things to nitpick about the games plot.
  12. Right now my pairings are: ChromxSumia VaikexLissa GaiusxOlivia HenryxMaribelle DonnelxSully FrederickxCherche GregorxPanne RickenxMiriel Lon'quxTharja KellamxNowi My avatar's asset is skill, flaw is HP. I was going to marry Cordelia for two really good children, but I'm thinking about switching him out with Virion so I can marry someone else. Severa can get good enough skills with either, she'll just be a bit more defensive with Virion. Feel free to critique my other pairs, but I'm mainly worried about Cordelia. Vaike and Lissa are already married, so I can't change that. Thanks for the help.
  13. Hey, this is my first post here and I was hoping you guys could help me out. See, I'm currently playing the second run of awakening and this time around I chose a female avatar, I'm thinking of this skill set: Galeforce Ignis Swordfaire Tomefaire Astra/Renewal I'm trying to go for a balanced unit, hence Sword/Tomefaire + Ignis What do you think? I know there's a lot of possibilities with this one.
  14. Even though I don't have a large amount of Fe players up where I live, I'm still curious what skills could be considered the best streetpass ones. I've heard of, and quite frankly hopped directly onto the paviseaegisrenewalignis bandwagon, but there has to be something more helpful, of course, if there isn't... What should take up that last skill slot, my personal favorite is armsthrift, only on my my unit though, not the others, otherwise, i'd go with counter or an actually helpful breaker skill. Any other ideas? Any other different sets that clean up even more well than paviseaegisrenewalignis does, other than the breaker monopoly of course.
  15. I have a strategy that will work for anyone who has DLC, on any difficulty. First, you add your avatar into the avatar logbook, with full stats, and any skills you want him to be equipped with. This should be done on easy, or hard, so that you don't have too much trouble. Second, start a game on the difficulty that you cannot complete (e.g. Lunatic). Spam Frederick paired up with Chrom, until you have completed chapter 4, so that you will unlock the Outrealm Gate. Third, grind the Golden Gaffe, until you have enough money to buy the avatar from Step 1. Now use this avatar as much as you want. Notes: The more full-stat avatars you have, the better. You can keep grinding the golden gaffe, to buy up to 20 avatars at once. If you have Rouges and Redeemers 3, you can equip Limit Breaker. You should consider equipping this on your avatar(s). If you have 99,999 Renown, you can sell the Supreme Emblem for 99,999G, and your Bullion (L) for 10,000G, and (probably) buy an avatar before completing chapter 4. These avatars cannot have support conversations, so unfortunately, the support boosts won't increase. You can use the EXPonential Growth, in order to get lots of experience, but I recommend you wait until completing chapter 16 (or paralogue 16) so that you can buy Master Seals, and Second Seals. I hope this information helps!
