  1. Hey everyone, I'm Sull and I'd like to enlist everyone's help in a silly little challenge. I am doing a bond unit only run in Lunatic Conquest, ironman of course. I have already solo'd the first six chapters as much as I felt possible. No one other MU got to attack, but I took advantage of some healing and pair up. My Castle Address: 01261-15236-20729-07950. I plan on allowing myself to buy previously created bond units, if I do use any DLC it will have a limit of one use, and forced deploy units will have their weapons unequiped immediately. Might come up with more rules later, who knows. Have not really thought this thread through too much, but I thought it'd be interesting to update it with particular challenges or how someone's bond unit here popped off. Might just do a summary for every chapter at the very least. Thanks in advance for everyone that helps out!
  2. In case people want to make bond units, all of the threads on a lot of forums are closed, so if you want to have bond units in 2019 and onward... Post your MyCastle Code, Path, and avatar's name in a spoiler How does one make a bond unit? Get each other's Calling Cards Get at least one accessory from the other player Continue giving them accessories each day (you won't lose these accessories) Voila! Why should you post your path? So that you can hand pick the pool of skills your bond unit gets. Always check your accessory page in your inbox and take their calling card and give them accessories. I'll just post all the possible skills in a spoiler.
  3. Hello! This is a thread for people to exchange MyCastle codes with the intent of creating bond units. Feel free to join in, even if your MU doesn't have great skills or isn't high-leveled! Path: Hoshido Skill: Renewal (I can swap our for Hoshidan Unity, Dragon Ward, or Salvags Blow.) Code: 15330-62847-91704-31977 Castle Name: Hallow Bastion All my stores are fully upgraded too. The accessory doesn't matter to me either. Enjoy!
  4. So, I have a metric ton of Bond Units that I want to train up but there is an oversight concerning their classes. They start in an inherited class but, when you Parallel Seal them, they cannot go back to the initial class or the secondary promotional class of it (I think that is how it works). So, my question is: how are you supposed to train Bond Units and get them skills? Are are they just useless and stuck with getting DLC skills and the skills of whatever secondary class and promotion class (outside of the Nohr Prince(ss) line) you swap them into? Also, sorry in advance if my information is incorrect or confusing.
  5. After the monsoon of PMU's that I'll be doing, I want to do more fun and interesting runs of the Fire Emblem Fates games. One idea that I've had is to do a Bond Unit run, and for that I'll need your help. Just send in the accessories as often as you can and I'll do the same, and hopefully I'll end up with enough units for a proper playthrough! My Castle Address (AUS) is: 07395-25729-08960-01742

  7. Hello everyone of Serenes Forest! After completing Fates in it's entirety, I decided to do a run through of Fates with a twist: Bond units only. RULES Before we get into the meat of things, a few things to note. I started this on Reddit, were I posted by rules I would be using for this run. Here are the rules: Lunatic Mode. I would use a Corrin chosen in the style of a PMU: first poster would get to create the Corrin. The First poster would choose the route. I would also use Anna’s Gift, a free DLC that gives the player either a Sighting Lens or a Witches Mark. All units are free until the accessory shop is built and on the chapter they are recruited in. This does mean that I will use Battle/Visit gifts, and will use Shimishes and DLC to grind Bond Units, as Bond Units are born at level 1. I would like to thank Reddit User Mr. Duddles for the creation of this run’s Corrin: Cordigoth (+Luck/-Resistance), Male, tale, and with messy Pink Hair. In addition Mr. Duddles also chose Anna’s Gift: The Witch’s Mark. I would also like to thank Reddit User /u/NautilusMain for choosing the route, as Duddles deferred to him. He choose Birthright. Now lets get to the good part: the run itself. Prologue: Ties That Bind Our story begins in a perfectly peaceful war tron and bloody battlefield filled with death and destruction. How quaint. Anywho, as this is the prologue chapter, there is nothing much to note as the game tells me things I already know. Cordigoth the Mighty Pink One goes to town and makes all the people fall down. Turn Count: 2 Total: 2 Chapter 1: Nohr Our families start fighting because what else would you expect them to do? Thankfully it was all just a dream. We have important things to do, like train with the mighty Xander! Yea its a pretty easy chapter due to still being in tutorial mode. Nothing much to say besides stick a fork in it we're done Turn count: 5 Total: 7 Chapter 2: Gift of Ganglari We pay a visit to Evil Adopted Dad in Castle Doombad and learn that the EVIL HOSHIDAN SCUM must die horrible deaths because. Also lets overact because why not. I first have Cordigoth and Felicia take the right with Gunter on the right, and then just flip flop their positions until victory. Turn count: 7 Total: 14 Chapter 3: Journey Begins After failing to kill the Hoshidans due to this strange thing called Mercy, Cordigoth, plucky maid, aging meatshield, and the totally not evil Hans the Evil-Berserker-That-Always-Appears-At-Some-Point-In-A-Fire-Emblem-Game head to the Bottomless Canyon, which I hear has no bottom. After doing nefarious things, Hans starts the fight, and off we go. Using a quick pair up Cordigoth and Felecia swoop in and take out the two samurai on the bridge. After taking one look at the very fortified position on the other side of the bridge, we decide to make our own using Dragon Veins. We use the first one to make the bridge and sneak behind the fort that way. However..that attracts the attention of the bridge guards. We decided that retreat is the better part of valor and run back from wince we came. After making the second bridge, Gunter shelters Cordigoth and acts as bait. Then, we switch and let Cordigoth do the work while Felecia takes a quick run away before running to the nearby fort and letting Gunter meatshield there. As Felecia runs, she stays in range of an Archer and finishes him off. After taking care of the remaining troops, its turn 11 and we are wounded. We finish the last Archer off, his squad now dead, and we heal up and charge in, Cordigoth taking the charge to the boss Ozomu. On Enemy Phase, Cordigoth takes down the boss and the two remaining archers swooping in to take pot shots at Cordigoth. And then the three Sky Knight reinforcements arrive. Well, no time like the present. Cordigoth gets in one last kill before Felecia seizes the fort for the win. Turn Count: 15 Total: 29 Also surprise Saizo and stuff.
  8. I'm Currently trying to build some decent bond units. A tricky challenge and i tought i had everything figured out. I don't know why, but ond units are incapable of learning skills from themselves. since reclassing my bond unit would not allow them to return to the class they started in (the one i want them to be >.>). I figured i could obtain all the skills from their available classes by following this process. (i do not know why this doesn't work) Create a save with the unaltered units in their basic class on the unit roster of that playthrough. (so as not to lose them if a mistake was made) Create a second save to power level the unit through the class line and obtain the skills. Update the unit's logbook entry with the new skills. Return to the first save file and learn the the skill from the reclassed/trained unit. Update the logbook entry with the original unit that also has the skills. this would leave the heart seal options available. repeat the process for the remaining class lines. aqcuiring all available/desired skills. final update of logbook entry. purchase the unit on the desired playthrough. (Ghostly Grind... err Gold.) Seemed pretty solid to me. are the bond units able to learn skills from their own entries in the logbook? any information would be appreciated. I did snoop around for this topic, no luck. In case i missed it, please link me to the topic.
  9. Since this is one of the more under used features I thought I should start a thread so here's how we can start 1. Visit another player's castle (gender doesn't matter) and get their calling card 1.5 make sure the other person has you calling card as well 2 make sure you two are giving eachother gifts every chance you get 3. this will take a couple of days notes when recruited the bond unit will start as the secondary class of the player you made the bond unit the bond unit will inherit the last 2 skills equiped given a heart seal the unit can become a nohr prince/ss to be added how the bond unit gets a personal skill ??????????????? my castle codes don't forget to leave you my castle code in your post and leave your code in bold so I can see it better, and that I can copy and paste it into the spoiler European My Castles if there is region locked multiplayer reserved for something else
  10. Does a bond unit get a special on hit effect if they get the personal skill on someone with one? Examples would be like Wind Deciple (Fuga's skill) or Icy Blood (Flora's skill). I won't be surprised if no one has an answer as I'm sure it's a pretty situational quest.
  11. So... I noticed that the page on Bond Units hasn't been updated with the Localized Names, and since the skills are tied to their names, I'm creating this page to help detail which skills come from which Bond Unit. 12. So I've heard about Bond Units, and I'm working on getting some. They're pretty much randomly customized Avatars with Personal Skills depending on what versions the two players they're created from have. They inherit Nohr Prince(ss) and the secondaries of their parents. What I want to know is: -How do their max stat modifiers work? Do they inherit them like child units do, or do they have randomized assets/flaws depending on the parents? -Can they use Dragon Vein? -How many accessories do you need to share with another player to get one?
